Look familiar? VIX is tempting, but if history rhymes...

Look familiar? It should... Likely scenario of everyone getting on the same side of the boat again here in 2022. The VIX looks very exciting but if history rhymes, we haven't arrived at the big selloff yet and we will easily breakdown from here exactly like during the 2008 VIX spike. Trendlines are formidable, until they aren't. Also like I've heard, markets have a way of convincing everyone of something before they decide to reverse course, I think we are there. This pattern from 2008 is almost a replica of what is happening now in the VIX. "You are here."
