  1. SPONSOR: Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc, located at 20 S. Wacker Drive Chicago, Illinois 60606 (“Sponsor”).
  2. TRADINGVIEW: TradingView, Inc., located at 470 Olde Worthington Road, Suite 200, Westerville, OH 43082, USA (“TradingView”).
  3. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in the Competition (as defined below), you expressly agree to be bound by these official rules (“Official Rules”) and the decisions of the TradingView, including without limitation decisions regarding eligibility, winners, and the interpretation of terms used in these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all aspects.
  4. COMPETITION PERIOD: The TradingView Paper Trading Competition by CME Group (“Competition”) sponsored by Sponsor begins on 08:00:00 UTC, February 3, 2025 and ends on 08:00:00 UTC on February 28, 2025 (“Competition Period”). Registration for the Competition opens on January 24, 2025 and is open until 23:59:59 UTC, February 14, 2025. The start date for trading as part of the Competition is 08:00:00 UTC on February 3, 2025. The end date of the trading as part of the Competition is 08:00:00 UTC on February 28, 2025. All times in these Official Rules are UTC. TradingView’s computer will be the official clock for the Competition. All entries must be received (as defined below) before the registration for the Competition is closed to be eligible to enter the Competition or win a prize.
    ELIGIBILITY: The Competition is open to individuals (“Entrant” or “you”) that (i) are 18 years of age or older or who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence as of the date of entry; (ii) are users with a valid TradingView paid plan, which was purchased or registered no later than 30 days before the start date of trading; (iii) are legal residents of a jurisdiction other than: Crimean, Donetsk, and Luhansk Regions of Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, North Korea or Russia (collectively “Eligible Territory”); and (iv) not be a person or entity under U.S. or foreign export controls or sanctions. Only those participants who had an active TradingView paid plan at the end of the Competition are eligible to receive a prize. A user has the right to register for the Competition only once. Registering multiple accounts will lead to disqualification from the Competition. Employees, contractors, consultants, officers, directors, and agents (and their immediate families and household members regardless of where they live), or members of the same households, whether related or not, of Sponsor, TradingView, its parents, divisions, subsidiaries, agents, promotional partners, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers and deliverers (“Competition Entities”) are not eligible to participate in the Competition or win any prize. Failure to meet the eligibility requirements will result in an entry being invalid and forfeiture of any prize. Individuals outside of the Eligible Territory are not eligible to participate or win a prize. TradingView reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant that Sponsor or TradingView determines could potentially reflect negatively on Sponsor’s or TradingView’s image. VOID OUTSIDE OF THE ELIGIBLE TERRITORY AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. TradingView’s decisions regarding eligibility and all other aspects of the Competition are final and binding subject to applicable laws.
  5. CME GROUP REAL TIME DATA: All participants in the Competition will have access to CME Group top of book real-time data during the competition which will be made available up to 1 hour after registration. After the competition, access to CME Group top of book real-time data will be terminated for all participants without a valid data subscription. Participants can subscribe to CME Group data to their existing paid plan by visiting https://www.tradingview.com/cme/
  6. PRIVACY: TradingView collects personal information from you when you enter the Competition. The information collected is subject to TradingView’s privacy policy (as may be amended from time to time), which can be found at https://www.tradingview.com/privacy-policy/ (“Privacy Policy”) and the Sponsor’s privacy policy (as may be amended from time to time), which can be found at https://www.cmegroup.com/privacy-policy.html (“Sponsor Privacy Policy”). By registering as a participant in the Competition, you agree to the processing of personal data for the purpose of conducting the Competition and for the purposes of sharing such data with the Sponsor, who may use it to send you marketing communications and other materials in accordance with the Sponsor Privacy Policy. TradingView usernames, along with records from TradingView Paper Trading Competitions, will be utilized on leaderboards, landing pages, and other TradingView properties for the purpose of running the Competition by showcasing participant stats, achievements, results, and any marketing purposes on TradingView website, social media and externally. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and TradingView’s Privacy Policy and Sponsor Privacy Policy, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail. The personal information of winners may be provided to corporate affiliates of the Sponsor, TradingView, third parties assisting in the conduct of the Competition, including with Competition Entities, and for publicity purposes surrounding the Competition. If the personal information requested is not provided, you may not participate in the Competition. By participating in the Competition, you hereby agree to TradingView’s collection and usage of your personal information as described and in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Sponsor Privacy Policy and acknowledge that you have read and accepted the Privacy Policy and Sponsor Privacy Policy.
  7. HOW TO PARTICIPATE AND HOW THE COMPETITION WILL BE RUN: A user who has successfully registered in the Competition gets access to a separate Paper Trading Competition Account. Such an account has a special name and is marked with the label “by CME Group” in the Paper Trading trading panel. The special name for the Paper Trading Competition Account in the Competition held between 08:00:00 UTC, February 3, 2025 and 08:00:00 UTC on February 28, 2025 is “The Leap”. For the purposes of the Competition, only trading activity carried out in the Paper Trading Competition Account is taken into account. The preset parameters of the Paper Trading Competition Account cannot be changed, and the account cannot be reset to its initial state. The Competition accounts will be automatically deleted after 30 days from the date of the end of the Competition, without notifying the participants. Participants will lose access to data from deleted Competition accounts.

    If the execution of orders can lead to the appearance of open positions with an amount exceeding the maximum set by the Terms and Conditions, then such orders will be rejected by the system. The preset balance size for the Paper Trading Competition Account is 250,000 virtual US dollars. The preset commission for the Paper Trading Competition Account is 0.0004 percent and the margin is 5% per contract.
    A prerequisite that a Competition participant must fulfill in order to qualify for a prize is trading activity for at least 10 days of the Competition. Trading activity within one day is considered to be actions that resulted in the opening or closing of positions from 00:00:00 to 23:59:00 UTC.TradingView warns that excessively high activity of transactions in Paper Trading, including using various scripts, will lead to a ban on access to Paper Trading for one hour or longer. Access to Paper Trading is prohibited if 60 or more transactions with orders and positions are performed per minute.

    The results of the Competition will be announced no later than three working days from the end date of the Competition. TradingView reserves the right to additionally announce the exact date and time of the announcement of the Competition results on the page https://www.tradingview.com/the-leap/. After the final calculation of the Competition results, they will be published at https://www.tradingview.com/the-leap/ in the Competition leaderboard.
    WINNER SELECTION AND PRIZE DETAILS: The prizes described below will be awarded after completion of the Competition Period and after determination of winners by TradingView (“Prizes”). No substitution, assignment or transfer of Prizes is permitted, except by TradingView, who has the right to substitute Prizes with others of comparable or greater value. TradingView is not responsible for any errors or delays in the awarding of Prizes. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a potential winner, TradingView has the right to make the final determination of the identity of winner in its sole discretion. All currency listed in these Official Rules is in USD.

Each winner is deemed to be a potential winner pending verification, including without limitation, verification of eligibility, compliance with the terms and conditions of the Competition, and completion of any required documents as determined by TradingView, at TradingView’s sole discretion. TradingView will not be liable for any potential Prize notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received by any potential winner for any reason. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the first attempt to contact the winner, the TradingView may select an alternate potential winner from the remaining eligible entries.     • 51st to 250th place six (6) month extension to Entrant’s existing TradingView paid plan.
    O valor total aproximado de varejo (“ARV”) dos prêmios em dinheiro é: US$ 25.000. Os prêmios iguais ou superiores a US$ 1.000 serão concedidos somente por meio de transferência eletrônica, ou PayPal. Os prêmios inferiores a US$ 1.000 serão concedidos somente via PayPal.     In the event of a dispute as to the identity of entrants or winners, TradingView shall make the final determination as to identity. You agree that, as between you and TradingView, TradingView has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from the Competition and that all decisions of TradingView related to the Competition are final and binding. TradingView reserves the right to disqualify and prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law any Entrant or winner who it suspects has tampered with the Competition, the entry or participation process, violated the Official Rules, or acted in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
    Prior to the release of Prize payments, TradingView reserves the right in its sole discretion to ask for evidence to verify the age, identity and/or eligibility of an Entrant at any time, and to use any channels and methods available to carry out checks of any details provided. TradingView may withhold delivery of a Prize until it has received such evidence from a winner and failure to provide such evidence in a timely manner may result in forfeiture of the prize.
  8. PRIZE CONDITIONS: TradingView is not responsible for Prizes that are unable to be awarded. Winners may be responsible for any costs and expenses not listed herein. Prizes may be reported as income to a winner and all federal, state/provincial/territorial, and local taxes, fees and surcharges and taxes (whether foreign or domestic, and including income, sales, and import taxes) on Prizes are the sole responsibility of the Prize winners. Please consult a tax professional to discuss your particular situation. Winners may be required to complete required tax forms or other documents requested within the time period stipulated by TradingView. TradingView reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Competition for any reason, including if the fairness of the Competition is compromised. Failure to comply with any of the requirements set forth in the Official Rules may result in disqualification or forfeiture of a Prize. There is a limit of one (1) prize per Entrant.
  9. PUBLICITY RELEASE AND ADDITIONAL AGREEMENTS: Each winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and a publicity release that, among other things, will allow TradingView to use the winner’s name, photograph, likeness, social media post (including video or photo), voice, prize information, opinions, and biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation where permitted by law, including in connection with promotion winner on TradingView’s website. Except where prohibited, participation in the Competition constitutes your consent to TradingView’s use of your name, photograph, likeness, social media post (including video or photo), voice, prize information, opinions, and biographical information, for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
  10. REPRESENTAÇÃO E GARANTIAS E CONDUTA: AO SE INSCREVER E PARTICIPAR DESTA COMPETIÇÃO, VOCÊ: (A) DECLARA E GARANTE QUE TODAS AS INFORMAÇÕES FORNECIDAS POR VOCÊ EM RELAÇÃO À COMPETIÇÃO SÃO VERDADEIRAS, PRECISAS E COMPLETAS; E (B) CONCORDA EM CUMPRIR TODAS AS LEIS E REGULAMENTOS FEDERAIS, ESTADUAIS E LOCAIS.
    Any attempt by Entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any internet site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Competition is a violation of these Official Rules as well as criminal and civil laws. Should TradingView believe or become aware that such an attempt has been, is being, or will be made, TradingView reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any responsible Entrant(s) and other responsible individual(s) in the attempted damage to the fullest extent permitted by law, including without limitation criminal prosecution.
  11. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER: EACH PRIZE IS PROVIDED (OR WILL BE AWARDED) 'AS IS' AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AND TRADINGVIEW AND COMPETITION ENTITIES HEREBY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT), CONCERNING ANY PRIZE FURNISHED OR MADE AVAILABLE IN CONNECTION WITH THE COMPETITION.
  12. GENERAL RELEASE: YOU HEREBY HOLD TRADINGVIEW, COMPETITION ENTITIES, AUTHORIZED PARTIES, SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS (INCLUDING X, TIK TOK, FACEBOOK, AND INSTAGRAM) AND THEIR AFFILIATES, AGENTS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SHAREHOLDERS (COLLECTIVELY “RELEASEES”) HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS, AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND ARISING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THE COMPETITION, PARTICIPATION IN ANY COMPETITION RELATED ACTIVITY, OR RESULTING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE AWARDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE COMPETITION, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, AS WELL AS CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY AND THE COLLECTION, USE AND/OR SHARING BY TRADINGVIEW AND COMPETITION ENTITIES OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION OF ENTRANTS, OR FOR ANY PRINTING, PRODUCTION, TYPOGRAPHICAL OR HUMAN ERROR. OS DISPENSADOS NÃO ASSUMEM NENHUMA RESPONSABILIDADE POR QUALQUER ERRO, OMISSÃO, INTERRUPÇÃO, EXCLUSÃO, DEFEITO OU ATRASO NA OPERAÇÃO, OU TRANSMISSÃO, OU ALTERAÇÃO DAS INSCRIÇÕES.   13. LIMITAÇÃO DE RESPONSABILIDADE: EM NENHUMA CIRCUNSTÂNCIA, OS DISPENSADOS SERÃO RESPONSÁVEIS POR QUAISQUER DANOS OU PERDAS DE QUALQUER TIPO, INCLUINDO, SEM LIMITAÇÃO, HONORÁRIOS ADVOCATÍCIOS, DANOS DIRETOS, INDIRETOS, INCIDENTAIS, CONSEQUENCIAIS OU PUNITIVOS, DECORRENTES OU RELACIONADOS A QUALQUER ACESSO E/OU USO DE QUALQUER SITE, OU DESCONTINUIDADE DE ACESSO A QUALQUER MATERIAL, OU QUALQUER DANO RESULTANTE DA ACEITAÇÃO, POSSE, USO OU USO INDEVIDO, OU PRESENÇA, OU PARTICIPAÇÃO EM QUALQUER PRÊMIO CONCEDIDO EM CONEXÃO COM A COMPETIÇÃO.
  14. DISQUALIFICATION/FORCE MAJEURE: TradingView reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to disqualify and/or deem ineligible to participate in this Competition, any individual who TradingView believes to be: (A) tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Competition or any website; (B) acting in violation of these Official Rules or TradingView’s Privacy Policy or other terms, conditions or guidelines; (C) acting in bad faith, an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; (D) disrupting or undermining the legitimate operation of the Competition; or (E) annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing any other person. TradingView reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
    In the event an insufficient number of eligible entries are received and/or TradingView is prevented from awarding prizes or continuing the Competition as contemplated in these Official Rules by any event beyond its control (“Force Majeure Event”), including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health of other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, then TradingView will have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Competition. Only the quantity of Prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded.
  15. GENERAL CONDITIONS: TradingView reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify, or cancel the Competition, in its sole discretion, at any time and without notice, even though such action may affect your ability to win a prize. TradingView is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing or description of the Competition. Entries are void if unreadable, inaccurate, and incomplete, mutilated, tampered with, forged, mechanically reproduced, irregular in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Although TradingView attempts to ensure the integrity of the Competition, TradingView and Competition Entities are not responsible for the actions of Entrants or other individuals in connection with the Competition, including Entrants’ or other individuals’ attempts to circumvent the Official Rules or otherwise interfere with the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition. In the event of any conflict between any details contained in these Official Rules and details contained in any Competition advertising materials, the details of the Competition as set forth in these Official Rules shall prevail.
  16.   17. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, all disputes relating to the Competition will be exclusively resolved under confidential binding arbitration held in New York City, New York. All disputes will be resolved in accordance with the Rules of JAMS, applying California law, without regard to conflicts of law principles. You and TradingView agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and New York state courts in New York County for purposes of enforcing any arbitration award. Notwithstanding the foregoing, TradingView may seek injunctive or other equitable relief, from a court of competent jurisdiction. You and TradingView agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action. You and TradingView agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the Competition must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action arose; otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.

  19. NO AFFILIATION SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS: This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including X, TikTok, Facebook, Discord, Reddit or Instagram. The information you provide will only be used as described in these Official Rules and TradingView’s Privacy Policy.
