Easy Scalping by JayKasunBINANCE:BTCUSDTPERP
This indicator can show stochastic RSI K and D line crosses and some candlestick patterns on chart.
You can use this indicator to scalping, check usage for more info. Always backtest before trading with your real money.
This indicator will also help mobile TradingView users to get an idea when getting stochastic RSI signals, they can use this indicator to check if stochastic RSI K and D crossed or not. ( Because they have limited area to view chart ) .
4 Exponential moving averages are there in the indicator with easy enable disable option. 9 , 21 , 55 , 100 is suggested as default values.
Meanings of signs in chart
Blue triangle bellow candle means it's a stochastic RSI K and D line cross in oversold level
Red triangle above candle means it's a stochastic RSI K and D line cross in overbought level
Green plus sign shows when EMA 50 crossover EMA 100
Red plus sign shows when EMA 50 cross bellow EMA 100
Features
You can enable candlestick pattern displaying when stochastic RSI K and D cross happen. Check indicator settings.
You can enable displaying ATR Trailing Stops in indicator settings.
Indicator will only show blue triangle after Green plus sign and Red triangles after Red plus sign
After you enable candlestick pattern option, stochastic RSI crosses with candlestick patterns will show in deferent colors. Blue triangle will turn into green and Red triangle into pink.
Usage
Use lower time frames like 5m or 15m
After green plus sign, if price retouched 21 EMA or 55 EMA and blue triangle appeared , you can enter a long position.
After red plus sign, if price retouched 21 EMA or 55 EMA and red triangle appeared , you can enter a short position.
Always wait for candle close . signs of chart can be changed when candle closing. ( Does repaint until candle close )
Use ATR trailing to get a stop loss price.
Use 1:1 or 1:0.5 Risk Reward ratio. Because it's scalping and lower time frame.
Use more indicators like RSI to get more confirmations ( like divergences ) before entering a trade. Its more reliable.
Candlestick Patterns Short names
H - Hammer
IH -Inverted Hammer
BE - Bullish Engulfing ( green triangle )
BE - Bearish Engulfing ( pink triangle )
BH - Bullish Harami ( green triangle )
BH - Bearish Harami ( pink triangle )

DMI Stochastic Extreme Refurbished█ CONCEPTS
DMI Stochastic Extreme was originally published by Barbara Star, PhD, in TASC magazine of January 2013.
Basically it describes an improved version of the ADX DI+/DI- indicator, created by J. Welles Wilder.
In the setup described by the author, the DMI Oscillator is used together with a stochastic oscillator of DMI.
First, the DMI Oscillator is obtained by subtracting the minus directional movement indicator value (DI-) from the plus directional movement value (DI+).
The final result is the "DMI Stochastic Extreme" indicator, in which the stochastic oscillator is calculated. Only instead of using the price value, the stochastic is obtained through the DMI value.
█ Goals
The final indicator described by Barbara is the Stochastic Oscillator of DMI.
However, to use the DMI oscillator together (as described in the magazine), it is necessary to plot it in a separate indicator, which consumes screen space.
That's why the idea of joining both the DMI oscillator and the DMI Stochastic Oscillator into one thing came up, optimizing the visualization.
Taking advantage of the fact that my hands are already dirty :), I created some fine adjustments.
█ HOW TO USE IT
Here are some examples:
1. With default params:
2. With custom DI Length of 21 (Histogram), DI Length of 13 (for Stoch Oscilator), Stoch Length of 5, and another theme.
3. Another params with less noise:

MultiTimeFrame Stochastic
Multi Time Frame Stochastic
Fast, medium, slow and Too slow stochastic of current time frame and higher time frame for creating view for buying or selling
How to use
1. For Divergence - price making higher high but stochastic making lower high or vice versa
2. choosing strategy - whether buy the dips or sell on rise
3. deciding whether downtrend or uptrend is over or not - higher time frame stochastic comes from over brought to oversold
High Probablity Buy trade
Higher time frame stoch oversold and divergence seen in chart and stoch and lower low forming stopped in chart and stoch
High Probablity sell trade
Higher time frame stoch overbought and divergence seen in chart and stoch and higher high stopped in chart and stoch
caution : it only go to 0 to 100 so some time it is overbought for long time the fall or vice versa, use it with other confirmation like price action or candlestick pattern

Reverse Stoch [BApig Gift] - on PanelMssive credit to Motgench, Balipour and Wugamlo for this script. This script is all of their good work.
It is basically just the non-on chart version which I've slightly tweaked off their script. This can be useful to reduce the clutter on the chart itself. Releasing it in the hope that it can be useful for the community
Enjoy!
DSS of Advanced Kaufman AMA [Loxx]DSS of Advanced Kaufman AMA is a double smoothed stochastic oscillator using a Kaufman adaptive moving average with the option of using the Jurik Fractal Dimension Adaptive calculation. This helps smooth the stochastic oscillator thereby making it easier to identify reversals and trends.
What is the double smoothed stochastic?
The Double Smoothed Stochastic indicator was created by William Blau. It applies Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) of two different periods to a standard Stochastic %K. The components that construct the Stochastic Oscillator are first smoothed with the two EMAs. Then, the smoothed components are plugged into the standard Stochastic formula to calculate the indicator.
What is KAMA?
Developed by Perry Kaufman, Kaufman's Adaptive Moving Average (KAMA) is a moving average designed to account for market noise or volatility . KAMA will closely follow prices when the price swings are relatively small and the noise is low. KAMA will adjust when the price swings widen and follow prices from a greater distance. This trend-following indicator can be used to identify the overall trend, time turning points and filter price movements.
What is the efficiency ratio?
In statistical terms, the Efficiency Ratio tells us the fractal efficiency of price changes. ER fluctuates between 1 and 0, but these extremes are the exception, not the norm. ER would be 1 if prices moved up 10 consecutive periods or down 10 consecutive periods. ER would be zero if price is unchanged over the 10 periods.
What is Jurik Fractal Dimension?
There is a weak and a strong way to measure the random quality of a time series.
The weak way is to use the random walk index ( RWI ). You can download it from the Omega web site. It makes the assumption that the market is moving randomly with an average distance D per move and proposes an amount the market should have changed over N bars of time. If the market has traveled less, then the action is considered random, otherwise it's considered trending.
The problem with this method is that taking the average distance is valid for a Normal (Gaussian) distribution of price activity. However, price action is rarely Normal, with large price jumps occuring much more frequently than a Normal distribution would expect. Consequently, big jumps throw the RWI way off, producing invalid results.
The strong way is to not make any assumption regarding the distribution of price changes and, instead, measure the fractal dimension of the time series. Fractal Dimension requires a lot of data to be accurate. If you are trading 30 minute bars, use a multi-chart where this indicator is running on 5 minute bars and you are trading on 30 minute bars.

MTF DSS (Double Smoothed Stochastic) [TH]The Double Smoothed Stochastic indicator was created by William Blau.
The DSS ranges from 0 to 100, like the standard Stochastic Oscillator.
The same rules of interpretation apply to Stochastics can be applied to DSS, although the DSS offers a much smoother curve than the raw Stochastic.
How it works:
It applies Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) of two different periods to a standard Stochastic %K.
The components that construct the Stochastic Oscillator are first smoothed with the two EMAs.
Then, the smoothed components are plugged into the standard Stochastic formula to calculate the indicator.
Calculation:
EMA of the ( EMA of the (Close – Lowest Low for the specified period) )
Divided by
EMA of the ( EMA of the (Highest High for the specified period – Lowest Low for the specified period) )
X 100
How to add alerts:
Check off each piece of criteria you want for the alerts, then select Okay.
Then go to 'Create Alert' and set the condition to 'MTF DSS', select create.
Neo's %KIn my opinion the %K is the only part of the stochastic that you actually need. It's the fast RSI, so it responds much better to large price movements and reveals divergence a lot sooner than %D. The %D has no real confluence with the rest of my strategy so, I only use %K.
EMCHO Stochastic RangeCustom Stochastic Oscillator with range plot. Can be used to better identify overbought/oversold conditions within a single bar. In addition to the default Stochastic:
%K line smoothing algorithm selection;
%D line smoothing algorithm selection;
%K line high/low plotting;
%K line high/low calculation factor (in bars, default 1).
Exponential Top and Bottom FinderThis is an indicator to identify possible tops and bottoms after exponential price surges and drops, it works best on ETH 1D, but you can also use it for bitcoin and altcoins.
It's based on stochastic first and second derivatives of a close moving average
Ribbon Relative Strength IndexDescription
Ribbon RSI is the base on of the original RSI.
In RSI (dark color) and RSI-base MA (light color), we added short (12-day) and long (26-day) periods to show these crossovers, including crossovers between the RSI and the RSI-base MA, We've also added a trend period (50-day) RSI section that shows this section in the background.
And because Stochastic is a momentum indicator as well. It is therefore included as a guide to support RSI in another way.
How to Setting
— You can adjust the Short (12 days), Long (26 days) and Trend (50 days) periods from Settings: Input page in the RSI Setting section.
— You can adjust the RSI-base MA interval (9 days) on the Settings: Input page in the MA Setting section.
— You can display the lines of RSI, RSI-base MA at Setting: Style in RSI…
— You can display the Stochastic lines on the Settings: Style page in the Stochastic…
Stoch RSI, Div, Zone S3 by Gammaprod>> How to use this indicator :
1. Set your teadingview theme to dark theme.
2. My indicator is valid for forex, stock and but more valid for crypto.
3. Use three timeframe for more validation (choose between those, that fit to your trading style) :
- Timeframe 1m, 5m, and 15m for Scalping
- Timeframe 30m, 1h and 4h for Intraday
- Timeframe 4h, 1D and 1W for Swing Trading
4 . Always use THREE INDICATORS FROM GAMMAPROD, those three indicators is back to back each other, by the way, I only made those three indicators only (for now) :
- Trendlines Boll Ichi Crypto by Gammaprod
- Stoch RSI Divs Zone Crypto by Gammaprod
- MACD Volume Crypto by Gammaprod
>> How to setting :
1. Trendlines Boll Ichi Crypto by Gammaprod
A. Support and Resistence
- Well if you familiar with this indicator you can add it, but recommended for Timeframe 30m or more
B. Trendlines Primary or Trendlines Secondary
- Timeframe 1m you DON'T NEED Trendlines Primary or Trendlines Secondary
- Timeframe 5m you DON'T NEED Trendlines Secondary, but you CAN ADD Trendlines Primary if you fell it helpful (for me, it is helpful to find where the candles start or the end trend or a consolidation or where the candles will surpass a resistance or a support).
- Timeframe 15m you DON'T NEED Trendlines Secondary, DEFENITELY add Trendlines Primary it will help to find where the candles stop or a consolidation or where the candles will surpass a resistance or a support).
- Timeframe 30m or more, DEFENITELY NEED BOTH Trendlines Primary and Secondary Trendlines, it will help to find where the candle stop or consolidation or where the candle will surpass a resistance or support).
C. Bolinger, Ichimoku Cloud and Lagging Span
- Please DON'T CHANGE IT at all, it's really helpful to know when and where to make an entry decesion or a trend or a consolidation, if you don't understand how to read it, you better to learn it first (on "how to read" section and "How to OPEN position" the section below)
2. Stoch RSI Divs Zone Crypto by Gammaprod (DON'T CHANGE IT)
3. MACD Volume Crypto by Gammaprod (DON'T CHANGE IT)
>> How to read :
1. Sell or Buy Priority :
A. Buy Priority
- Color background on macd and stoch rsi is pink or purple sell is the priority, (if you're not sure to buy, just wait until the best moment to sell)
B. Buy Priority
- Color background on macd and stoch rsi Teal or light green buy is the priority, (if you're not sure to sell, just wait until the best moment to buy)
C. Indecision / Golden Moment
- Color background on stoch rsi yellow is indecision / golden moment of reversal pattern (wait until it formed background only on Stoch RSI), please becareful at this moment.
2. Trend / Consolidation :
A. BULLISH trend
- When Stoch RSI and MACD have teal or light green background that's means BULLISH trend, better to confirm by the candle is above green cloud and lagging span (red line) is also above the candle.
B. BEARISH trend
- When Stoch RSI and MACD have the Pink or purple background that's means BEARISH trend, better to confirm by the candle is above purple cloud and lagging span (red line) is also below the candle.
C. CONSOLIDATION
- When Stoch RSI have the mix background that's means CONSOLIDATION, better to confirm by the candle is in or near to green / purple cloud and lagging span (red line) is also on the candle.
3. Special Mark
A. Ideal Bullish :
- Near line 20 and green / teal background = When Stoch RSI have the char R / H on lime color label, that's means divergence or hidden divergence for buy position, if you not see this label that's means just a standard confirmation for buy
B. Not an Ideal Bullish :
- Near line 80 and green / teal background = if this happens make sure you know what happen, it could be a false signal or bullish continual pattern
C. Ideal Bearish :
- Near line 80 and pink / purple background = When Stoch RSI have the char R / H on lime color label, that's means divergence or hidden divergence for buy position, if you not see this label that's means just a standard confirmation for sell position.
D. Not an Ideal Bearish:
- Near line 20 and pink / purple background = if this happens make sure you know what happen, it could be a false signal or bearish continual pattern
E. The Beginning of Reversal (from BEARISH to BULLISH) :
- When Stoch RSI line shaping GREEN position is near 20.
- MACD lines still PINK, position lines is UNDER the HISTOGRAM, but the HISTOGRAM start to SHAPE FALL PINK (light pink) and the BACKGROUND still PINK / PURPLE.
- Position CANDLES NEAR BLUE line, NEAR PURPLE CLOUD, and lagging span (red line) STILL ON the area candle. (it used to be confirmed with the golden moment).
F. The Beginning of Reversal (from BULLISH to BEARISH) :
- When Stoch RSI line shaping PINK position is near 80.
- MACD lines still GREEN, position lines is ABOVE the HISTOGRAM, but the HISTOGRAM start to SHAPE FALL GREEN (light green) and the BACKGROUND still TEAL / GREEN.
- Position CANDLES NEAR WHITE line, NEAR TEAL CLOUD, and lagging span (red line) STILL ON the area candle. (it used to be confirmed with the golden moment).
G. False Signals, or It could be a Golden Moment (better to see it on TF 15 or bigger):
- Near line 20 or 80 and yellow background = When Stoch RSI have the char R / H on color label, that's means divergence or hidden divergence for buy / sell position, if you not see this label that's means just a standard confirmation for buy / sell depends on where the Stoch RSI line if near 20 that's means buy, near 80 means sell

3. MACD Volume Crypto by Gammaprod
- Changing the background.
- The line is near the middle line.
- Have small Histogram.
>> The secret ingridient is comparing the timeframe :
The example scalping (Timeframe 1m, 5m and 15m)
- TF 1m is for making an open position.
- TF 5m is for making a judgement of the trend market.
- TF 15m is to confirm that judgement from TF 5m, be careful if it not similar then it used to be a consolidation or the beginning of the reversal.
There's a lot a way to open the position than above information that i gave it to you, but consider there are a limit char on this column, I hope it will help your trading and make a more profit on it.
Stochastic MACDStochasticMACD (SMACD) is an oscillating momentum indicator. It is based on MACD but run through a stochastic oscillator.
This results in an indicator with all the same properties as MACD but with the benefit that the absolute levels can be compared to history values.
MTF Stochastic, A versionHey everybody,
Here is a version of a MTF Stochastic script I wrote a while ago. The code is based on a formula written by Peter_O and the built in Tradingview Stochastic indicator. See this link to the original script of Peter_O. I use this formula a lot if I want to build in a Stochastic trend filter in my strategies. In this version I added options to plot different signals and trends.
Vix FIX / Stochastic Weights StrategyThis script is based off of Chris Moody's Vix Fix Indicator modified by OskarGallard and BigBitsIO's Stochastic Weights.
This script is a compilation of several different stochastic indicators (and RSI ) where the K value of each indicator is equally weighted. The purpose of the indicator is to combine many indicators together in a fashion that weights them easier. By default, the Stochastic and Stochastic RSI are both enabled - the idea is to speed up the relatively slower Stochastic and to slow down the relatively fast Stochastic RSI . BigBitsIO's Stochastics are also available that can also be added to the weighted calculation. Only the K value is weighted, as the D value is just a moving average of the weighted K.
- Why is this modifed stochastic useful?
- To weight multiple indicators together so that you can attempt to find optimal values shared amongst the indicators. Ex: If Stochastic RSI is 100 and Stochastic is 50, K would be 75 and not particularly high. If you add in a 50 RSI , the K would be 67 in this example. If we weight indicators together that all have a high value they could potentially help find elements that align together to produce a stronger signal.
In this script we have the red "S" triangles which are Exits (overbought stochastic crosses).
Added alerts for stochastic exit signals. Alerts are Pre-Set to only Alert on Bar Close.
The "Williams Vix Fix" is one of the most reliable indicators in history for finding market bottoms. The Vix Fix is simply a code from Larry Williams creating almost identical results for creating the same ability the Vix has to all assets.
The VIX has always been much better at signaling bottoms than tops. Simple reason is when market falls retail traders panic and increase volatility , and professionals come in and capitalize on the situation. At market tops there is no one panicking... just liquidity drying up.
The FE green triangles are "Filtered Entries".
The AE green triangles are "Aggressive Filtered Entries".
Added Alerts to Williams Vix Fix (Aggressive Entry and Filtered Entry). Alerts are Pre-Set to only Alert on Bar Close.
Added "Ehlrers StochCCI" indicator of user @glaz
The Ehlrers StochCCI is a variation of Ehlers Stochastic RSI replaced with CCI.
The John Ehlers' article in August, 2006, "Modeling The Market = Building Trading Strategies," describes a process for extracting trend and cyclic elements from market data, then recombining them for trading purposes. He used the Stochastic RSI denoted the cyclic elements.
Added ability to show Dots when StochCCI Crosses.
Sell: fuchsia dots.
Buy: green dots.
Added alerts for (Buy / Sell) StochCCI. Alerts are Pre-Set to only Alert on Bar Close.

Stochastic ATR Volatility OscillatorNOTES: As x, k and d use;
21-10-3 for 1 Hour candles
5-4-2 for 4 Hour candles
21-21-3 for 1 Day candles
Yellow plot is the main oscillator. Orange plot, and hlines at 20, 50 and 80 can be used as signal lines.
I personally use hlines as the signal in 1H as it's the best timeframe for the indicator.
If you are in a long position, sell when yellow plot crosses 80 or 50 line downwards;
and buy when the line crosses 20, 50 or 75 upwards while you are not in a trade.
Stochastic OB/OS Zones HeatmapThe code is based on the Stochastic RSI Heatmap, but uses a normal Stochastic instead the Stochastic RSI when calculating "k" for more accuracy. Credit for the idea goes to Indicator-Jones.
The heatmap starts from the oversold (20) / overbought (80) levels respectively. The more oversold / overbought the price, the more intense the color (blue / fuchsia)
S2BU2 Stochastic Momentum Convergence DivergenceFair Use:
Please do not take my work and sell it under your own name. This was created to benefit everyone - not one person. Feel free however to use it as part of whatever work you wish to sell (of course i would applaud also giving ideas away for free - your choice though ;)
What it is:
This is a twist on the stochastic momentum indicator . It combines the classic stochastic momentum with a slow moving trendline to improve the warning signal for the end of a trend
How it works:
The classic Stochastic Momentum indicates an uptrend when the smi crosses above the signalline and conversely a downtrend when it crosses below.
The improved indicator also shows trend sustainability by displaying a vertical line when the trendline and signal line cross each other. Trendline above signalline indicates a sustained uptrend, trendline below signalline indicates a sustained downtrend.
How to use:
Note this is only a recommendation and not advice. Feel free to experiment and adjust the indicator to fit your tradingstyle. This is only my personal setup. Feel free to share your findings.
Set Alerts for crossovers between smi and signal on 1h and 4h. Also set alerts for crossovers between trend and signal on 4h.
(again, no advice - think for yourself!)
If smi and signal crossdown -> short
If smi and signal crossup -> long
If trend and signal crossdown between top and middle line-> major short
If trend and signal crossup between bottom and middle line -> major long
If trend and signal cross anywhere else -> get out and wait for a new signal
You could also stay in a trend for as long as the trendline does not crossover on the 4h. This works well for major trends and indicates very well the end it.
The end of a major trend is not necessarily the start of a major uptrend - there can and probably will be a consolidation phase.
This does not work well in a choppy market, do not keep a trade going until trend crossover if the market is choppy - you will mostly close with losses!

MTF Stochastic ScannerThis Stochastic scanner can be use to identify overbought and oversold of 10 symbols over multiple timeframes
it will give you a quick overview which pair is more overbough or more oversold and also signals tops and bottoms in the AVG row
light red/green cell = weak bearish (Stoch = 30-20) / bullish (Stoch = 70-80)
medium red/green cell = bearish (Stoch = 20-10) / bullish (Stoch = 80-90)
dark red/green cell = strong bearish (Stoch <= 10) / bullish (Stoch >= 90)
gray cell = neutral (Stoch = 30-70)
Usage
If AVG (average of all 4 timeframes) falls below 20, the cell will get green, indicating a good time to enter long (buy)
If AVG (average of all 4 timeframes) rises above 80, the cell will get red, indicating a good time to enter short (sell)
Use the "MTF Stochastic Scanner" in combination with the " MTF RSI Scanner "
to find tops (RSI MTF avg >=70 AND Stochastic MTF avg >= 80)
or bottoms (RSI MTF avg <= 30 AND Stochastic MTF avg <= 20)
Here is how the two MTF scanners looked on Nov 08 2021 (ATH) »
and here how the MTF scanners looked on June 21 2022
use TradingViews Replay function to check how it would have worked in the past and when not.

OnChart Stochastic💡 Stochastic oscillator superimposed on the chart!
👉 This is a very convenient visualization for trading in any market and TF!
Stochastic settings are standard.
The exit of the Stochastic lines above the upper border (High band) indicates that the price has entered the overbought zone (here you should look for a sale), the exit below the lower border (Low band) indicates the entry into the oversold zone (here you should look for purchases). The intersection of the "stochastic" lines indicates a probable reversal of the direction of price movement.
The indicator also has a range setting, in which the "stochastic" moves with reference to the MA. For MA, you can select the type, period and data type.
The values are adapted based on the daily values of the previous bar and adjusted by the period (ATR Len) for smoothing.
The values of the upper and lower bounds for the "stochastic" are also set.
It is possible to show on the chart the points of intersection in the oversold/overbought zones (show cross).
👉 I wish everyone profit and be sure to follow the risk management in trading!
You can set alerts for "stochastic" line crossings in oversold/overbought zones (use UP cross/DN crross "Once per bar close").
If you have any questions, you can write to me in private messages or by using the contacts in my signature.
----------------------------------------------------

ESTOCÁSTICO + NORMALIZED MACD=== INTRO ===
This is a 2 in 1 indicator, STOCHASTIC + NORMALIZED MACD.
I release this script as public because both stochastic and normalized macd are public, so I cannot find any reason to post it as private :)
=== USAGE ===
You can use any of the indicators by itself as usual, stochastic as a oversold/overbought indicator as a momentum/trend indicator.
Usually, crossovers are used for LONG/SHORT entries.
I added dots for crossovers as well as background colors to show movement direction when both indicators agree: green = bullish, red = bearish and orange = range/consolidation.
=== SETTINGS ===
Default settings for both indicators have been changed (but they're of course configurable), to make them work better together.
You can also change NMACD moving average time to SMA or WMA instead of SMA, SMA is really slow for me but give it a try, WMA is more aggressive.
=== RECOMMENDATIONS ===
Always look for higher timeframes, for example, if you're trading 1h, don't try to catch a 1H "ALL GREEN" LONG while 4H is "ALL RED" because otherwise you're just "trying" to catch a bounce in the 1H chart that could never happen, always trade with the main trend.
Try to catch both crossovers in the opposite area, ex: try to LONG when both indicators are below 50 and SHORT above.
I did not test divergences on this indicator, as the MACD is normalized i prefer to use a standard MACD for that, but you can use the stochastic for sure.
Bogdan Ciocoiu - LitigatorDescription
The Litigator is an indicator that encapsulates the value delivered by the Relative Strength Index, Ultimate Oscillator, Stochastic and Money Flow Index algorithms to produce signals enabling users to enter positions in ideal market conditions. The Litigator integrates the value delivered by the above four algorithms into one script.
This indicator is handy when trading continuation/reversal divergence strategies in conjunction with price action.
Uniqueness
The Litigator's uniqueness stands from integrating the above algorithms into the same visual area and leveraging preconfigured parameters suitable for short term scalping (1-5 minutes).
In addition, the Litigator allows configuring the above four algorithms in such a way to coordinate signals by colour-coding or shape thickness to aid the user with identifying any emerging patterns quicker.
Furthermore, Moonshot's uniqueness is also reflected in the way it has standardised the outputs of each algorithm to look and feel the same, and in doing so, enabling users to plug them in/out as needed. This also includes ensuring the ratios of the shapes are similar (applicable to the same scale).
