Candle checker for long/short for scalping/day tradingHey.
This strategy is still in working.
For it I check a x amount of candles in the past if they been for example all red/green in row, and based on that I enter. For example candle 7 < candle 6 .... candle 3 < candle 2 .... candle 1 < candle current for long and viceversa for short.
After that, once the trade is initiated, I exit based on 2 possibilities : candle color is different than the color of candle when entry, or based tp/sl.
Let me know what you think of it.
I will try to make the process to calculate automatically and input the number of candles to check like 5-10-15 and so on.

First time coding - a 5min forex Scalping strategy This is my first attempt at producing a strategy in Pine Script.
I am NOT a professional coder. I'm not even a good coder at that. I've only started Pine Script coding since September 2019. I am teaching myself.
This script is far from finished. I need to tweak a number of things about this script. Namely:
Add a validity window to the 'trigger bar' condition. Ie, I want to shut down the condition when the price closes above EMA21
Change the order entry so they are stop orders, using the stop entry price derived from the signals
Make changes to lot sizing
Add a trailing stop condition
Comments welcome, but do not expect me to reply to any questions or requests. In fact, don't expect any replies from me. I consider myself notoriously bad at replies.
I do welcome any feedback from any seasoned coders out there, as I am still a novice coder, and have so much to learn!
As to anyone who wants to criticise me - constructive and helpful criticism are most welcome, criticism to make yourself feel superior to me - you kind can eat a dk.
For the strategy rules, google the user ForexSignals TV account and look for the video "SIMPLE and PROFITABLE Forex Scalping Strategy".

Peace to y'all

Strategy Myth-Busting #8 - TrendSurfers+TrendOsc - [MYN]This is part of a new series we are calling "Strategy Myth-Busting" where we take open public manual trading strategies and automate them. The goal is to not only validate the authenticity of the claims but to provide an automated version for traders who wish to trade autonomously.
Our 8th one is an automated version of the " 653% Gain Magical 1 Minute Scalping Strategy Tested 100 Times | Become Consistently Huge Profit " strategy from " Fxaccurate US " who claims to have achieved 653% profit scalping GOLD on the 5 minute timeframe. As you can see from the backtest results below, I was unable to substantiate anything close to that that claim on any timeframe or symbol. Myth 10000% busted.
If you know of or have a strategy you want to see myth-busted or just have an idea for one, please feel free to message me.

Scalping Dips On Trend (by Coinrule)Coinrule's Community is an excellent source of inspiration for our trading strategies.
In these months of Bull Market, our traders opted mostly on buy-the-dips strategies, which resulted in great returns recently. But there has been an element that turned out to be the cause for deep division among the Community.
Is it advisable or not to use a stop-loss during a Bull Market?
This strategy comes with a large stop-loss to offer a safer alternative for those that are not used to trade with a downside protection.
Entry
The strategy buys only when the price is above the Moving Average 50 , making it less risky to buy the dip, which is set to 2%.
The preferred time frame is 1-hour.
The stop-loss is set to be quite loose to increase the chances of closing the trade in profit, yet protecting from unexpected larger drawdowns that could undermine the allocation's liquidity.
Exit
Stop loss: 10%
Take Profit: 3%
In times of Bull Market, such a trading system has a very high percentage of trades closed in profit (ranging between 70% to 80%), which makes it still overall profitable to have a stop-loss three times larger than the take profit.
Pro tip: use a larger stop-loss only when you expect to close in profit most of the trades!
The strategy assumes each order to trade 30% of the available capital and opens a trade at a time. A trading fee of 0.1% is taken into account.
[ETH] Optimized Trend Strategy - Lorenzo SuperScalpStrategy Title: Optimized Trend Strategy - Lorenzo SuperScalp
Description:
The Optimized Trend Strategy is a comprehensive trading system tailored for Ethereum (ETH) and optimized for the 15-minute timeframe but adaptable to various timeframes. This strategy utilizes a combination of technical indicators—RSI, Bollinger Bands, and MACD—to identify and act on price trends efficiently, providing traders with actionable buy and sell signals based on market conditions.
Key Features:
Multi-Indicator Approach:
RSI (Relative Strength Index): Identifies overbought and oversold conditions to time market entries and exits.
Bollinger Bands: Acts as a dynamic support and resistance level, helping to pinpoint precise entry and exit zones.
MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence): Detects momentum changes through bullish and bearish crossovers.
Signal Conditions:
Buy Signal:
RSI is below 45 (indicating an oversold condition).
Price is near or below the lower Bollinger Band.
MACD bullish crossover occurs.
Sell Signal:
RSI is above 55 (indicating an overbought condition).
Price is near or above the upper Bollinger Band.
MACD bearish crossunder occurs.
Trade Execution Logic:
Long Trades: Opened when a buy signal flashes. If there’s an open short position, it is closed before opening a long.
Short Trades: Opened when a sell signal flashes. If there’s an open long position, it is closed before opening a short.
The strategy also ensures a minimum number of bars between consecutive trades to avoid rapid trading in choppy conditions.
Pyramiding Support:
Up to 3 consecutive trades in the same direction are allowed, enabling traders to scale into positions based on strong signals.
Visual Indicators:
RSI Levels: Dotted lines at 45 and 55 for quick reference to oversold and overbought levels.
Buy and Sell Signals: Visual markers on the chart indicate where trades are executed, ensuring clarity on entry and exit points.
Best Used For:
Swing Trading & Scalping: While optimized for the 15-minute timeframe, this strategy works across various timeframes, making it suitable for both short-term scalping and swing trading.
Crypto Trading: Tailored for Ethereum but effective for other cryptocurrencies due to its dynamic indicator setup.

This is the script for the series called "Sniper".
*** What is "Sniper" Series? ***
"Sniper" series is the project that I’m going to start.
In "Sniper" Series, I’m going to "snipe and shoot" the youtuber’s strategy: to find out whether the youtuber’s video about strategy is "true or false".
Specifically, I’m going to do the things below.
1. Implement "Youtuber’s strategy" into pinescript code.
2. Then I will "backtest" and prove whether "the strategy really works" in the specific ticker (e.g. BTCUSDT) for the specific timeframe (e.g. 5m).
3. Based on the backtest result, I will rate and judge whether the youtube video is "true" or "false", and then rate the validity, reliability, robustness, of the strategy. (like a lie detector)
*** What is the purpose of this series? ***
1. To notify whether the strategy really works for the people who watched the youtube video.
2. To find and build my own scalping / day trading strategy that really works.

1. Can choose whether to use Risk Manangement Logic.
- This controls the Quantity of the Entry.
- e.g. If you want to take 3% risk per trade and stop loss price is 6% below the long entry price,
then 50% of your equity will be used for trade.
2. Can choose How much risk you would take per trade.
### Plot
1. Added Labels to check the data of entry / exit positions.
2. Changed and Added color different from the original one. (green: #02732A, red: #D92332, yellow: #F2E313)

*** Rating: True or False?
### Rating:
→ 1.5 / 5 (0 = Trash, 1 = Bad, 2 = Not Good, 3 = Good, 4 = Great, 5 = Excellent)
### True or False?
→ False
→ Doesn't Work on 5 minute timeframe. Also, it doesn't work on crypto.
### Better Option?
→ Use this for Day trading or Swing Trading, not for Scalping. (Bigger Timeframe)
→ Although the result was bad at 5 minute timeframe, it was profitable in 1h, 2h, 4h, 8h, 1d timeframe.
→ BTC, ETH was ok.
→ The result was better when I use EMA filter (only on longer timeframe).
### Robust?
→ So So. Although result was bad in short timeframe (e.g. 30m 15m 5m), backtest result was "consistently" profitable on longer timeframe.
→ Also, MDD was not that bad under risk management option on.
**********************************************************************************
*** Conclusion?
→ Don't use this on short timeframe.
→ Better use on longer timeframe with filter, stoploss and risk management.
RSI Divergence Strategywhat is "RSI Divergence Strategy"?
it is a RSI strategy based this indicator:
what it does?
it gives buy or sell signals according to RSI Divergences. it also has different variables such as "take profit", "stop loss" and trailing stop loss.
how it does it?
it uses the "RSI Divergence" indicator to give signal. For detailed information on how it works, you can visit the link above. The quantity of the inputs is proportional to the rsi values. Long trades are directly traded with "RSI" value, while short poses are traded with "100-RSI" value.
How to use it?
The default settings are for scalp strategy but can be used for any type of trading strategy. you can develop different strategies by changing the sections. It is quite simple to use.
RSI length is length of RSİ
source is source of RSİ
RSİ Divergence lenght is length of line on the RSI
The "take profit", "stop" and "trailing stop" parts used in the "buy" group only affect buys. The "sell" group is similarly independent of the variables in the "buy" group.
The "zoom" section is used to enlarge or reduce the indicator. it only changes the appearance, it does not affect the results of the strategy.

ROC_PA_Strategy (A3Sh)Hi there,
An experiment with rate of price change in combination with price averaging. The strategy is inspired by Price Change Scalping Strategy developed by Prosum Solutions and Scalping Dips On Trend Strategy developed by Coinrule. Both strategies look at the percentage of price change to open orders.
When the price drops beyond a specified percentage, a order entry threshold (yellow line) is setup. The order entry threshold is only active for a specified number of bars and will de-activate when not crossed within the specified number of bars. When the price drops further and crosses the entry threshold with a minimum of a specified percentage, a long position is entered. The same reverse logic (white line) used to close the long position.
I first ran the strategy without stop loss and take profit and that worked very well in a bullish market. I later added stop loss and take profit and that seems to work better in a side ways or bearisch market. There are a lot of tweaking possibilities in the settings.
In the settings you can specify the percentage of portfolio to use for each trade to spread the risk and for each order a trading fee of 0.075% is calculated.

Built on the Dskyz (DAFE) legacy of Aurora Divergence, the Quantum Sentiment Flux is designed to empower beginners while giving seasoned traders a lean, sentiment-driven edge. It uses fast/slow EMA crossovers for entries, filters trades with VIX, SPX trends, and sector breadth, and keeps your account safe with adaptive stops and cooldowns. Tuned for more action with faster signals and a slick bottom-left dashboard, this updated version is ready to light up your charts and outsmart institutional traps. Let’s dive into why this strat’s a must-have and break down its brilliance.
Why Traders Need This Strategy
Futures markets are a wild ride—fast moves, volatility spikes (like the April 28, 2025 NQ 1k-point drop), and institutional games that can wreck unprepared traders. Beginners often get lost in complex systems or burned by impulsive trades. The Quantum Sentiment Flux is the antidote, offering:
Dead-Simple Setup: Preset modes (Aggressive, Balanced, Conservative) auto-tune signals, risk, and sizing, so you can trade without a quant degree.
Sentiment Superpower: VIX filter, SPX trend, and sector breadth visuals keep you aligned with market health, dodging chop and riding trends.
Ironclad Safety: Tighter ATR-based stops, 2:1 take-profits, and preset cooldowns protect your capital, even in chaotic sessions.
Next-Level Visuals: Green/red entry triangles, vibrant EMAs, a sector breadth background, and a beefed-up dashboard make signals and context pop.
DAFE Swagger: The clean aesthetics, sleek dashboard—ties it to Dskyz’s elite brand, making your charts a work of art.
Traders need this because it’s a plug-and-play system that blends beginner-friendly simplicity with pro-level market awareness. Whether you’re just starting or scalping 5min MNQ, this strat’s your key to trading with confidence and style.
Strategy Components
1. Core Signal Logic (High-Speed Momentum)
The strategy’s engine is a momentum-based system using fast and slow Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), now tuned for faster, more frequent trades.
How It Works:
Fast/Slow EMAs: Fast EMA (Aggressive: 5, Balanced: 7, Conservative: 9 bars) and slow EMA (12/14/18 bars) track short-term vs. longer-term momentum.
Crossover Signals:
Buy: Fast EMA crosses above slow EMA, and trend_dir = 1 (fast EMA > slow EMA + ATR * strength threshold).
Sell: Fast EMA crosses below slow EMA, and trend_dir = -1 (fast EMA < slow EMA - ATR * strength threshold).
Strength Filter: ma_strength = fast EMA - slow EMA must exceed an ATR-scaled threshold (Aggressive: 0.15, Balanced: 0.18, Conservative: 0.25) for robust signals.
Trend Direction: trend_dir confirms momentum, filtering out weak crossovers in choppy markets.
Evolution:
Faster EMAs (down from 7–10/21–50) catch short-term trends, perfect for active futures markets.
Lower strength thresholds (0.15–0.25 vs. 0.3–0.5) make signals more sensitive, boosting trade frequency without sacrificing quality.
Preset tuning ensures beginners get optimized settings, while pros can tweak via mode selection.
2. Market Sentiment Filters
The strategy leans hard into market sentiment with a VIX filter, SPX trend analysis, and sector breadth visuals, keeping trades aligned with the big picture.
VIX Filter:
Logic: Blocks long entries if VIX > threshold (default: 20, can_long = vix_close < vix_limit). Shorts are always allowed (can_short = true).
Impact: Prevents longs during high-fear markets (e.g., VIX spikes in crashes), while allowing shorts to capitalize on downturns.
SPX Trend Filter:
Logic: Compares S&P 500 (SPX) close to its SMA (Aggressive: 5, Balanced: 8, Conservative: 12 bars). spx_trend = 1 (UP) if close > SMA, -1 (DOWN) if < SMA, 0 (FLAT) if neutral.
Impact: Provides dashboard context, encouraging trades that align with market direction (e.g., longs in UP trend).
Sector Breadth (Visual):
Logic: Tracks 10 sector ETFs (XLK, XLF, XLE, etc.) vs. their SMAs (same lengths as SPX). Each sector scores +1 (bullish), -1 (bearish), or 0 (neutral), summed as breadth (-10 to +10).
Display: Green background if breadth > 4, red if breadth < -4, else neutral. Dashboard shows sector trends (↑/↓/-).
Impact: Faster SMA lengths make breadth more responsive, reflecting sector rotations (e.g., tech surging, energy lagging).
Why It’s Brilliant:
- VIX filter adds pro-level volatility awareness, saving beginners from panic-driven losses.
- SPX and sector breadth give a 360° view of market health, boosting signal confidence (e.g., green BG + buy signal = high-probability trade).
- Shorter SMAs make sentiment visuals react faster, perfect for 5min charts.
3. Risk Management
The risk controls are a fortress, now tighter and more dynamic to support frequent trading while keeping accounts safe.
Preset-Based Risk:
Aggressive: Fast EMAs (5/12), tight stops (1.1x ATR), 1-bar cooldown. High trade frequency, higher risk.
Balanced: EMAs (7/14), 1.2x ATR stops, 1-bar cooldown. Versatile for most traders.
Conservative: EMAs (9/18), 1.3x ATR stops, 2-bar cooldown. Safer, fewer trades.
Impact: Auto-scales risk to match style, making it foolproof for beginners.
Adaptive Stops and Take-Profits:
Logic: Stops = entry ± ATR * atr_mult (1.1–1.3x, down from 1.2–2.0x). Take-profits = entry ± ATR * take_mult (2x stop distance, 2:1 reward/risk). Longs: stop below entry, TP above; shorts: vice versa.
Impact: Tighter stops increase trade turnover while maintaining solid risk/reward, adapting to volatility.
Trade Cooldown:
Logic: Preset-driven (Aggressive/Balanced: 1 bar, Conservative: 2 bars vs. old user-input 2). Ensures bar_index - last_trade_bar >= cooldown.
Impact: Faster cooldowns (especially Aggressive/Balanced) allow more trades, balanced by VIX and strength filters.
Contract Sizing:
Logic: User sets contracts (default: 1, max: 10), no preset cap (unlike old 7/5/3 suggestion).
Impact: Flexible but risks over-leverage; beginners should stick to low contracts.
Built To Be Reliable and Consistent:
- Tighter stops and faster cooldowns make it a high-octane system without blowing up accounts.
- Preset-driven risk removes guesswork, letting newbies trade confidently.
- 2:1 TPs ensure profitable trades outweigh losses, even in volatile sessions like April 27, 2025 ES slippage.
4. Trade Entry and Exit Logic
The entry/exit rules are simple yet razor-sharp, now with VIX filtering and faster signals:
Entry Conditions:
Long Entry: buy_signal (fast EMA crosses above slow EMA, trend_dir = 1), no position (strategy.position_size = 0), cooldown passed (can_trade), and VIX < 20 (can_long). Enters with user-defined contracts.
Short Entry: sell_signal (fast EMA crosses below slow EMA, trend_dir = -1), no position, cooldown passed, can_short (always true).
Logic: Tracks last_entry_bar for visuals, last_trade_bar for cooldowns.
Exit Conditions:
Stop-Loss/Take-Profit: ATR-based stops (1.1–1.3x) and TPs (2x stop distance). Longs exit if price hits stop (below) or TP (above); shorts vice versa.
No Other Exits: Keeps it straightforward, relying on stops/TPs.
5. DAFE Visuals
The visuals are pure DAFE magic, blending clean function with informative metrics utilized by professionals, now enhanced by faster signals and a responsive breadth background:
EMA Plots:
Display: Fast EMA (blue, 2px), slow EMA (orange, 2px), using faster lengths (5–9/12–18).
Purpose: Highlights momentum shifts, with crossovers signaling entries.
Sector Breadth Background:
Display: Green (90% transparent) if breadth > 4, red (90%) if breadth < -4, else neutral.
Purpose: Faster breadth_sma_len (5–12 vs. 10–50) reflects sector shifts in real-time, reinforcing signal strength.
- Visuals are intuitive, turning complex signals into clear buy/sell cues.
- Faster breadth background reacts to market rotations (e.g., tech vs. energy), giving a pro-level edge.
6. Sector Breadth Dashboard
The new bottom-left dashboard is a game-changer, a 3x16 table (black/gray theme) that’s your market command center:
Metrics:
VIX: Current VIX (red if > 20, gray if not).
SPX: Trend as “UP” (green), “DOWN” (red), or “FLAT” (gray).
Trade Longs: “OK” (green) if VIX < 20, “BLOCK” (red) if not.
Sector Breadth: 10 sectors (Tech, Financial, etc.) with trend arrows (↑ green, ↓ red, - gray).
Placeholder Row: Empty for future metrics (e.g., ATR, breadth score).
Purpose: Consolidates regime, volatility, market trend, and sector data, making decisions a breeze.
- VIX and SPX metrics add context, helping beginners avoid bad trades (e.g., no longs if “BLOCK”).
Sector arrows show market health at a glance, like a cheat code for sentiment.
Key Features
Beginner-Ready: Preset modes and clear visuals make futures trading a breeze.
Sentiment-Driven: VIX filter, SPX trend, and sector breadth keep you in sync with the market.
High-Frequency: Faster EMAs, tighter stops, and short cooldowns boost trade volume.
Safe and Smart: Adaptive stops/TPs and cooldowns protect capital while maximizing wins.
Visual Mastery: DAFE’s clean flair, EMAs, dashboard—makes trading fun and clear.
Backtestable: Lean code and fixed qty ensure accurate historical testing.
How to Use
Add to Chart: Load on a 5min MNQ/ES chart in TradingView.
Pick Preset: Aggressive (scalping), Balanced (versatile), or Conservative (safe). Balanced is default.
Set Contracts: Default 1, max 10. Stick low for safety.
Check Dashboard: Bottom-left shows preset, VIX, SPX, and sectors. “OK” + green breadth = strong buy.
Backtest: Run in strategy tester to compare modes.
Live Trade: Connect to Tradovate or similar. Watch for slippage (e.g., April 27, 2025 ES issues).
Replay Test: Try April 28, 2025 NQ drop to see VIX filter and stops in action.

Fibonacci-Only Strategy V2Fibonacci-Only Strategy V2
This strategy combines Fibonacci retracement levels with pattern recognition and statistical confirmation to identify high-probability trading opportunities across multiple timeframes.
Core Strategy Components:
Fibonacci Levels: Uses key Fibonacci retracement levels (19% and 82.56%) to identify potential reversal zones
Pattern Recognition: Analyzes recent price patterns to find similar historical formations
Statistical Confirmation: Incorporates statistical analysis to validate entry signals
Risk Management: Includes customizable stop loss (fixed or ATR-based) and trailing stop features
Entry Signals:
Long entries occur when price touches or breaks the 19% Fibonacci level with bullish confirmation
Short entries require Fibonacci level interaction, bearish confirmation, and statistical validation
All signals are visually displayed with color-coded markers and dashboard
Trading Method:
When a triangle signal appears, open a position on the next candle
Alternatively, after seeing a signal on a higher timeframe, you can switch to a lower timeframe to find a more precise entry point
Entry signals are clearly marked with visual indicators for easy identification
Risk Management Features:
Adjustable stop loss (percentage-based or ATR-based)
Optional trailing stops for protecting profits
Multiple take-profit levels for strategic position exit
Customization Options:
Timeframe selection (1m to Daily)
Pattern length and similarity threshold adjustment
Statistical period and weight configuration
Risk parameters including stop loss and trailing stop settings
This strategy is particularly well-suited for cryptocurrency markets due to their tendency to respect Fibonacci levels and technical patterns. Crypto's volatility is effectively managed through the customizable stop-loss and trailing-stop mechanisms, making it an ideal tool for traders in digital asset markets.
For optimal performance, this strategy works best on higher timeframes (30m, 1h and above) and is not recommended for low timeframe scalping. The Fibonacci pattern recognition requires sufficient price movement to generate reliable signals, which is more consistently available in medium to higher timeframes.
Users should avoid trading during sideways market conditions, as the strategy performs best during trending markets with clear directional movement. The statistical confirmation component helps filter out some sideways market signals, but it's recommended to manually avoid ranging markets for best results.
MACD Aggressive Scalp SimpleComment on the Script
Purpose and Structure:
The script is a scalping strategy based on the MACD indicator combined with EMA (50) as a trend filter.
It uses the MACD histogram's crossover/crossunder of zero to trigger entries and exits, allowing the trader to capitalize on short-term momentum shifts.
The use of strategy.close ensures that positions are closed when specified conditions are met, although adjustments were made to align with Pine Script version 6.
Strengths:
Simplicity and Clarity: The logic is straightforward and focuses on essential scalping principles (momentum-based entries and exits).
Visual Indicators: The plotted MACD line, signal line, and histogram columns provide clear visual feedback for the strategy's operation.
Trend Confirmation: Incorporating the EMA(50) as a trend filter helps avoid trades that go against the prevailing trend, reducing the likelihood of false signals.
Dynamic Exit Conditions: The conditional logic for closing positions based on weakening momentum (via MACD histogram change) is a good way to protect profits or minimize losses.
Potential Improvements:
Parameter Inputs:
Make the MACD (12, 26, 9) and EMA(50) values adjustable by the user through input statements for better customization during backtesting.
Example:
pine
Copy code
macdFast = input(12, title="MACD Fast Length")
macdSlow = input(26, title="MACD Slow Length")
macdSignal = input(9, title="MACD Signal Line Length")
emaLength = input(50, title="EMA Length")
Stop Loss and Take Profit:
The strategy currently lacks explicit stop-loss or take-profit levels, which are critical in a scalping strategy to manage risk and lock in profits.
ATR-based or fixed-percentage exits could be added for better control.
Position Size and Risk Management:
While the script uses 50% of equity per trade, additional options (e.g., fixed position sizes or risk-adjusted sizes) would be beneficial for flexibility.
Avoid Overlapping Signals:
Add logic to prevent overlapping signals (e.g., opening a new position immediately after closing one on the same bar).
Backtesting Optimization:
Consider adding labels or markers (label.new or plotshape) to visualize entry and exit points on the chart for better debugging and analysis.
The inclusion of performance metrics like max drawdown, Sharpe ratio, or profit factor would help assess the strategy's robustness during backtesting.
Compatibility with Live Trading:
The strategy could be further enhanced with alert conditions using alertcondition to notify the trader of buy/sell signals in real-time.

TICK strategy for SPY optionsImportant notes:
1. This strategy is designed for same day SPY option scalping. All profit shown in back testing report is based on Profit/Loss (P/L) estimates from trading options with approximately 6 months of data. By default, it is set to 10 option contracts. By default the initial capital is set to $5000. Pyramiding is set to 3.
2. This strategy works better with non-extended market data.
3. This strategy is mainly developed for SPY trading on 5 min chart, it probably will not be very profitable with other tickers or time frame without tweaking all the parameters first.
4. This strategy will work with QQQ as well, but please adjust the profit multiplier to match the P/L of QQQ options.
How it works:
When trading the indices, many rely on the TICK for market directions. This strategy is a trend following strategy that uses a combination of conditions using the following indicators:
- TICK
- RSI
- VIX volatility index
- EMA
For entries, the conditions are:
1. TICK moving average crossover with a delayed signal line
2. Bullish or bearish RSI signal, RSI > 50 for bullish, < 50 for bearish
3. VIX must be above a certain threshold to take advantage of high market volatility
4. Price must be on top of EMA line for long, and below for short
For exits, there are 3 scenarios:
1. Stop loss set by a percentage of the daily ATR value
2. Trend changes on the TICK and the RSI
3. Bearish or bullish divergence on price with TICK
This strategy automatically signal to close all trades at 3:50 pm EST at the end of the day.
Extras:
- There is an option to show P/L for reinvesting profits

3x SuperTrend Strategy (Mel0nTek) V1This is a triple SuperTrend based strategy for lower time frame trades such as day trades and scalping. I have not seen many strategies that combine multiple SuperTrends so I thought I would publish this one since I put it together and have been quite happy with the results. I have found through testing that the best results are on currency exchange markets such as Crypto or Forex on 1-15 min time frames.
The core idea was inspired by a youtube video put out by Trade Pro:
"Trade Pro - HIGHEST PROFIT Triple Supertrend Trading Strategy Proven 100 Trade Results"
I went ahead and set the defaults to the ones he uses in his video for anyone who wants to try a configuration similar to his. They work pretty well in general, however the EMA, SuperTrend ATR multipliers, and P/L ratio can be tuned/optimized to fit the timeframe/market desired. The video is quite good but not a required watch as I will explain below.
The 200EMA is used as a medium-term trend direction indicator.
- Price closing consistently above the 200EMA means that only long positions should be entered.
- Price closing consistently below 200EMA means that only short positions should be entered.
The 3 SuperTrend indicators should be used as direction confirmation for entries. Typically, price above SuperTrend indicates bullish movement, while price below SuperTrend indicates Bearish movement. However by itself, it is not a great indication to enter/exit positions in my experience. By combining 3 of them with slightly longer periods and increased ATR multipliers, we can get much stronger confirmation of trend direction/strength.
The way they are used in this strategy is such that:
- We only want to enter a position if at least 2 out of 3 SuperTrends are on our side.
- 3/3 SuperTrends on our side is the best case, since we are taking trades WITH momentum/price strength.
- The second farthest SuperTrend from entry price is used as a Stop Loss
SuperTrend being on our side is not the only requirement for an entry however. The probability of success is increased with SuperTrend, and a longer EMA on our side, but we want to be sure that we aren't getting in too late/after the movement has already happened.
So we use Stoch RSI to pick our entries where price is oversold/overbought and reversing. That means the Stoch RSI is above 80, or below 20, and our indication to enter the trade is when the 2 lines cross/begin reversing direction.
So with trend direction on our side, we can get really good entries at these oversold/overbought extremes, especially as it's reversing (Stoch RSI K and D are crossing). This allows us to use the SuperTrend as a support/stop loss on our entry since price should be above it.
Then we just target 1.5x our max loss so that even if we only win 50% of the time, we still make a profit.
The explicit rules of this strategy are as follows:
=== Rules ===
long only
- price above EMA200
short only
- price below EMA200
Stop Loss = 2nd SuperTrend line above (short) or below(long) entry candle
Profit = 1.5x SL/risk (Profit Ratio x Max Loss)
=== Entry Setup ===
LONG
- Stoch RSI below 20, cross up
- at least 2 SuperTrend lines below close
SHORT
- Stoch RSI above 80, cross down
- at least 2 SuperTrend lines above close
P.S. Special thanks to Trade Pro for producing so many quality videos, putting strategy claims to the test, and providing me with so many good ideas I apply to my own strategies.
[M10] Quad MA Trend ScalperFour adjustable moving averages set in order to produce buy and sell signals, works best on smaller timeframes from my backtesting, 10M - 30M seems optimal for scalping.
The idea behind this script is to only enter positions that are following the trend in order to minimise drawdown and decrease risk when using leverage.
The script will only enter long positions when MA crossover occurs above the Long MA 2.
The script will exit a long position when MA Short crosses below Long MA 1.
The script will only enter short positions when MA cross under occurs below the Long MA 2.
The script will exit a short position when MA Short crosses below Long MA 1.

Meta Title: TQQQ EMA Crossover Strategy - Enhance Your Trading with Effective Signals
Meta Description: Discover the TQQQ EMA Crossover Strategy, designed to optimize trading decisions with fast and slow EMA crossovers. Learn how to effectively use this powerful indicator for better trading results.
Key Features
The TQQQ EMA Crossover Strategy is a powerful trading tool that utilizes Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) to identify potential entry and exit points in the market. Key features of this indicator include:
**Fast and Slow EMAs:** The strategy incorporates two EMAs, allowing traders to capture short-term trends while filtering out market noise.
**Entry and Exit Signals:** Automated signals for entering and exiting trades based on EMA crossovers, enhancing decision-making efficiency.
**Customizable Parameters:** Users can adjust the lengths of the EMAs, as well as take profit and stop loss multipliers, tailoring the strategy to their trading style.

How It Works
The TQQQ EMA Crossover Strategy operates by calculating two EMAs: a fast EMA (default length of 20) and a slow EMA (default length of 50). The core concept is based on the crossover of these two moving averages:
- When the fast EMA crosses above the slow EMA, it generates a *buy signal*, indicating a potential upward trend.
- Conversely, when the fast EMA crosses below the slow EMA, it produces a *sell signal*, suggesting a potential downward trend.
This method allows traders to capitalize on momentum shifts in the market, providing timely signals for trade execution.
Trading Ideas and Insights
Traders can leverage the TQQQ EMA Crossover Strategy in various market conditions. Here are some insights:
**Scalping Opportunities:** The strategy is particularly effective for scalping in volatile markets, allowing traders to make quick profits on small price movements.
**Swing Trading:** Longer-term traders can use this strategy to identify significant trend reversals and capitalize on larger price swings.
**Risk Management:** By incorporating customizable stop loss and take profit levels, traders can manage their risk effectively while maximizing potential returns.
How Multiple Indicators Work Together
While this strategy primarily relies on EMAs, it can be enhanced by integrating additional indicators such as:
- **Relative Strength Index (RSI):** To confirm overbought or oversold conditions before entering trades.
- **Volume Indicators:** To validate breakout signals, ensuring that price movements are supported by sufficient trading volume.
Combining these indicators provides a more comprehensive view of market dynamics, increasing the reliability of trade signals generated by the EMA crossover.
Unique Aspects
What sets this indicator apart is its simplicity combined with effectiveness. The reliance on EMAs allows for smoother signals compared to traditional moving averages, reducing false signals often associated with choppy price action. Additionally, the ability to customize parameters ensures that traders can adapt the strategy to fit their unique trading styles and risk tolerance.

SPY 1 Minute Day TraderWhen scalping options, users are looking for where breakouts are going to occur instead of sitting thru areas choppy price action that drain delta and cause them to lose value even if price is up trending. This script tries to identify when a trend reversal is expected based on one minute price action on the SPY. It alerts users to prepare for potential breakout when 5 out of the 6 key optimized parameters are discovered by showing a white L or S. Once all six trigger, it informs the user at the close of that candle with a golden triangle with Pivot Up or Pivot Down. As scalping options is something that is expected to be short in duration, a take profit and stop loss of 30 cents of price actions is established. If five or more parameters occur after the pivot is initiated, then stop losses and take profits are adhered to; however, if there are less, then it waits to take profit or stop the trade, as likely it is just noise and it will finish trend with an additional breakout.
This script has been created to take into account how the following variables impact trend for SPY 1 Minute:
ema vs 13 ema : A cross establishes start of trend
MACD (Line, Signal & Slope) : If you have momentum
ADX : if you are trending
RSI : If the trend has strength
The above has been optimized to determine pivot points in the trend using key values for these 6 indicators
bounce up = ema5 > ema13 and macdLine < .5 and adx > 20 and macdSlope > 0 and signalLine > -.1 and rsiSignal > 40
bounce down = ema5 < ema13 and macdLine > -.5 and adx > 20 and signalLine < 0 and macdSlope < 0 and rsiSignal < 60
White L's indicate that 5 of 6 conditions are met due to impending uptrend w/ missing one in green below it
Yellow L's indicate that 6 of 6 conditions still are met
White S's indicate that 5 of 6 conditions are met due to impending downtrend w/ missing condition in red above it
Yellow S's indicate that 6 of 6 conditions still are met
After a downtrend or uptrend is established, once it closes it can't repeat for 10 minutes
Won't open any trades on last two minutes of any hours to avoid volatility
Will close any open trades going into last minute of hour to avoid large overnight random swings.
Strategy Myth-Busting #9 - HullSuite+LSMA - [MYN]This is part of a new series we are calling "Strategy Myth-Busting" where we take open public manual trading strategies and automate them. The goal is to not only validate the authenticity of the claims but to provide an automated version for traders who wish to trade autonomously.
Our 9th one is an automated version of the "I Tested The Best 1 Minute Scalping Strategy That Will Blow Your Mind 100 Times" strategy from "Profit Now" who claims to have achieved 36.7% profit scalping XRPUSDT on the 1 minute timeframe in only 15 days. As you can see from the backtest results below, I was unable to substantiate anything remotely close to that that claim on any timeframe or symbol. Myth 10000% busted.
This strategy uses a combination of 2 open-source public indicators: Hull Suite by InSilico and Least Squares Moving Average (LSMA)
The Hull Moving Average (HMA) is a faster version of the traditional moving average and is designed to reduce lag and improve the responsiveness of the average to price changes. In this strategy the HMA is used as a trend-following indicator, When the HMA is rising it is indicative of an upwards trend and when its falling its indicative of a downtrend.
The Least Squares Moving Average (LSMA) used in this strategy is similar to the HMA in that it is designed to reduce lag and improve the responsiveness of the average to price changes. In this strategy the LSMA is used to also not only identify trends but also confirm signals, it also is used to identify possible changes in the trend and market conditions.
When we use these together, the Hull Suite and LSMA indicators provide a complimentary confirmation of trend direction and trend swings. The Hull Suite helps to identify and confirm trends, while the LSMA aids to confirm signals and identify potential changes in market conditions.
The way this strategy is designed is when the Hull Suite HMA is trending up and the LSMA crosses above the HMA, we enter a long condition. When the Hull Suite is trending down and the LSMA crosses below the HMA we take a short position. Because of the low latency of these two indicators this strategy can be used on lower time frames down to 1 minute. On high volatility crypto on the lowest time frames, a 1:4 Risk Ratio should be used. A lower less risk ratio should be used on less volatile archetypes of securities.
If you know of or have a strategy you want to see myth-busted or just have an idea for one, please feel free to message me
