Fuzzy SMA with DCTI Confirmation[FibonacciFlux]FibonacciFlux: Advanced Fuzzy Logic System with Donchian Trend Confirmation
Institutional-grade trend analysis combining adaptive Fuzzy Logic with Donchian Channel Trend Intensity for superior signal quality
Conceptual Framework & Research Foundation
FibonacciFlux represents a significant advancement in quantitative technical analysis, merging two powerful analytical methodologies: normalized fuzzy logic systems and Donchian Channel Trend Intensity (DCTI). This sophisticated indicator addresses a fundamental challenge in market analysis – the inherent imprecision of trend identification in dynamic, multi-dimensional market environments.
While traditional indicators often produce simplistic binary signals, markets exist in states of continuous, graduated transition. FibonacciFlux embraces this complexity through its implementation of fuzzy set theory, enhanced by DCTI's structural trend confirmation capabilities. The result is an indicator that provides nuanced, probabilistic trend assessment with institutional-grade signal quality.
Core Technological Components
1. Advanced Fuzzy Logic System with Percentile Normalization
At the foundation of FibonacciFlux lies a comprehensive fuzzy logic system that transforms conventional technical metrics into degrees of membership in linguistic variables:
// Fuzzy triangular membership function with robust error handling
fuzzy_triangle(val, left, center, right) =>
if na(val)
0.0
float denominator1 = math.max(1e-10, center - left)
float denominator2 = math.max(1e-10, right - center)
math.max(0.0, math.min(left == center ? val <= center ? 1.0 : 0.0 : (val - left) / denominator1,
center == right ? val >= center ? 1.0 : 0.0 : (right - val) / denominator2))
The system employs percentile-based normalization for SMA deviation – a critical innovation that enables self-calibration across different assets and market regimes:
// Percentile-based normalization for adaptive calibration
raw_diff = price_src - sma_val
diff_abs_percentile = ta.percentile_linear_interpolation(math.abs(raw_diff), normLookback, percRank) + 1e-10
normalized_diff_raw = raw_diff / diff_abs_percentile
normalized_diff = useClamping ? math.max(-clampValue, math.min(clampValue, normalized_diff_raw)) : normalized_diff_raw
This normalization approach represents a significant advancement over fixed-threshold systems, allowing the indicator to automatically adapt to varying volatility environments and maintain consistent signal quality across diverse market conditions.
2. Donchian Channel Trend Intensity (DCTI) Integration
FibonacciFlux significantly enhances fuzzy logic analysis through the integration of Donchian Channel Trend Intensity (DCTI) – a sophisticated measure of trend strength based on the relationship between short-term and long-term price extremes:
// DCTI calculation for structural trend confirmation
f_dcti(src, majorPer, minorPer, sigPer) =>
H = ta.highest(high, majorPer) // Major period high
L = ta.lowest(low, majorPer) // Major period low
h = ta.highest(high, minorPer) // Minor period high
l = ta.lowest(low, minorPer) // Minor period low
float pdiv = not na(L) ? l - L : 0 // Positive divergence (low vs major low)
float ndiv = not na(H) ? H - h : 0 // Negative divergence (major high vs high)
float divisor = pdiv + ndiv
dctiValue = divisor == 0 ? 0 : 100 * ((pdiv - ndiv) / divisor) // Normalized to -100 to +100 range
sigValue = ta.ema(dctiValue, sigPer)
DCTI provides a complementary structural perspective on market trends by quantifying the relationship between short-term and long-term price extremes. This creates a multi-dimensional analysis framework that combines adaptive deviation measurement (fuzzy SMA) with channel-based trend intensity confirmation (DCTI).
Multi-Dimensional Fuzzy Input Variables
FibonacciFlux processes four distinct technical dimensions through its fuzzy system:
Normalized SMA Deviation: Measures price displacement relative to historical volatility context
Rate of Change (ROC): Captures price momentum over configurable timeframes
Relative Strength Index (RSI): Evaluates cyclical overbought/oversold conditions
Donchian Channel Trend Intensity (DCTI): Provides structural trend confirmation through channel analysis
Each dimension is processed through comprehensive fuzzy sets that transform crisp numerical values into linguistic variables:
// Normalized SMA Deviation - Self-calibrating to volatility regimes
ndiff_LP := fuzzy_triangle(normalized_diff, norm_scale * 0.3, norm_scale * 0.7, norm_scale * 1.1)
ndiff_SP := fuzzy_triangle(normalized_diff, norm_scale * 0.05, norm_scale * 0.25, norm_scale * 0.5)
ndiff_NZ := fuzzy_triangle(normalized_diff, -norm_scale * 0.1, 0.0, norm_scale * 0.1)
ndiff_SN := fuzzy_triangle(normalized_diff, -norm_scale * 0.5, -norm_scale * 0.25, -norm_scale * 0.05)
ndiff_LN := fuzzy_triangle(normalized_diff, -norm_scale * 1.1, -norm_scale * 0.7, -norm_scale * 0.3)
// DCTI - Structural trend measurement
dcti_SP := fuzzy_triangle(dcti_val, 60.0, 85.0, 101.0) // Strong Positive Trend (> ~85)
dcti_WP := fuzzy_triangle(dcti_val, 20.0, 45.0, 70.0) // Weak Positive Trend (~30-60)
dcti_Z := fuzzy_triangle(dcti_val, -30.0, 0.0, 30.0) // Near Zero / Trendless (~+/- 20)
dcti_WN := fuzzy_triangle(dcti_val, -70.0, -45.0, -20.0) // Weak Negative Trend (~-30 - -60)
dcti_SN := fuzzy_triangle(dcti_val, -101.0, -85.0, -60.0) // Strong Negative Trend (< ~-85)
Advanced Fuzzy Rule System with DCTI Confirmation
The core intelligence of FibonacciFlux lies in its sophisticated fuzzy rule system – a structured knowledge representation that encodes expert understanding of market dynamics:
// Base Trend Rules with DCTI Confirmation
cond1 = math.min(ndiff_LP, roc_HP, rsi_M)
strength_SB := math.max(strength_SB, cond1 * (dcti_SP > 0.5 ? 1.2 : dcti_Z > 0.1 ? 0.5 : 1.0))
// DCTI Override Rules - Structural trend confirmation with momentum alignment
cond14 = math.min(ndiff_NZ, roc_HP, dcti_SP)
strength_SB := math.max(strength_SB, cond14 * 0.5)
The rule system implements 15 distinct fuzzy rules that evaluate various market conditions including:
Established Trends: Strong deviations with confirming momentum and DCTI alignment
Emerging Trends: Early deviation patterns with initial momentum and DCTI confirmation
Weakening Trends: Divergent signals between deviation, momentum, and DCTI
Reversal Conditions: Counter-trend signals with DCTI confirmation
Neutral Consolidations: Minimal deviation with low momentum and neutral DCTI
A key innovation is the weighted influence of DCTI on rule activation. When strong DCTI readings align with other indicators, rule strength is amplified (up to 1.2x). Conversely, when DCTI contradicts other indicators, rule impact is reduced (as low as 0.5x). This creates a dynamic, self-adjusting system that prioritizes high-conviction signals.
Defuzzification & Signal Generation
The final step transforms fuzzy outputs into a precise trend score through center-of-gravity defuzzification:
// Defuzzification with precise floating-point handling
denominator = strength_SB + strength_WB + strength_N + strength_WBe + strength_SBe
if denominator > 1e-10
fuzzyTrendScore := (strength_SB * STRONG_BULL + strength_WB * WEAK_BULL +
strength_N * NEUTRAL + strength_WBe * WEAK_BEAR +
strength_SBe * STRONG_BEAR) / denominator
The resulting FuzzyTrendScore ranges from -1.0 (Strong Bear) to +1.0 (Strong Bull), with critical threshold zones at ±0.3 (Weak trend) and ±0.7 (Strong trend). The histogram visualization employs intuitive color-coding for immediate trend assessment.

TS CalculatorWhat is Trailing Stop?
A trailing stop is a type of stop-loss order that adjusts itself as the price of an asset moves in a favorable direction. It’s designed to lock in profits or limit losses by following the asset’s price movement. Here’s how it works:
How a Trailing Stop Works
Initial Setup: You set a trailing stop at a certain percentage or dollar amount below (for long trades) or above (for short trades) the current market price.
Price Movement: As the price moves in your favor, the trailing stop moves with it, maintaining the set distance.
Locking in Profits: If the price reverses direction by the set amount, the trailing stop triggers a market order to sell (for long trades) or buy (for short trades), locking in your profits or limiting your losses.
Example
Long Trade: If you buy a stock at $100 and set a trailing stop at 10%, the stop-loss order will initially be at $90. If the stock price rises to $120, the trailing stop moves up to $108 (10% below $120). If the price then drops to $108, the trailing stop triggers a sell order.
Short Trade: If you short a stock at $100 and set a trailing stop at 10%, the stop-loss order will initially be at $110. If the stock price falls to $80, the trailing stop moves down to $88 (10% above $80). If the price then rises to $88, the trailing stop triggers a buy order.
Benefits
Automated Risk Management: It helps manage risk without the need to constantly monitor the market.
Profit Protection: It locks in profits as the price moves in your favor.
Flexibility: It adjusts dynamically with the market price, unlike a fixed stop-loss order.
What this script does ?

I checked this strategy on different timeframes and different assest and found it very usefull for BTC 1 Hour and 5 minutes chart.
Strategy is basically takes BTC/USDT as a main indicator, so you can apply this strategy to all cryptocurrencies as they mostly acts accordingly with BTC itself (Of course you can change main indicator to different assets if you think that there is a positive corelation with. i.e. for BTC signals you can sellect DXY index for main indicator to act for BTC long/short signals)
Default variables of the inticator is calibrated to BTC/USDT 5 minute chart. I gained above %77 success.
Strategy simply uses, ADX, MACD, SMA, Fibo, RSI combination and opens positions accordingly. Timeframe variable is very important that, strategy decides according the timeframe you've sellected but acts within the timeframe in the chart. For example, if you're on the 5 minutes chart, but you've selected 1 hour for the time frame variable, strategy looks for 1 hour MACD crossover for opening a position, but this happens in 5 minutes candle, It acts quickly and opens the position.
Strategy also uses a trailing stop loss feature. You can determine max stoploss, at which point trailing starts and at which distance trailing follows. The green and red lines will show your stoploss levels according to the position strategy enters (green for long, red for short stop loss levels). When price exceeds to the certaing levels of success, stop loss goes with the profitable price (this means, when strategy opens a position, you can put your stop loss to the green/red line in actual trading)
You can fine tune strategy to all assets.
Please write down your comments if you get more successfull about different time zones and different assets. And please tell me your fine tuning levels of this strategy as well.
See you all.

STRATEGY R18-F-BTCHi, I'm @SenatorVonShaft
Just finished the strategy "STRATEGY R18-F-BTC" for trading on #bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
As any strategy on TradingView, R18 opens Long/Short positions (with no leverage) on certain price points for assets in the chart. But I intentionally make this strategy for Bitcoin . Strategy is effective with 1h chart and it has %36 winning trade ratio for #bitcoin trade. As strategy uses approximately 1/3 ratio of SL/TP levels, gross profit for 1 year backtest is above %200 (I mean above 3x for only BTC )
Strategy is built on combination of:
- MACD
- RSI
- FIBONACCI levels
- BTCUSDT price itself as indicator (for different crypto assets and BTCUSDTPERP trading. You can select different assets you like for indicator (it's BTCUSDT:Binance by default))
I fine-tuned all levels of indicators above accordingly (it has more than 10 variables that effects strategy itself).
You can find out your own strategy levels by adjusting long/short tp&sl variables as well as initial capital ratio variable.

MACD Cross [Momentum & Trend Filter]This is MTF MACD crossover and crossunder, with EMA trend filter and MTF RSI overbought/oversold filter.
Guidelines:
- User can set stop loss, take profit target and risk to reward ratio in setting
- ATR Stop and ATR Multiplier are use to set stop loss and take profit levels, setting are varies depend on what you are trading, play around and find appropriate number
- Don't trade if range between stop loss and target profit are too small or if there are too many small range try to increase multiplier
- If MACD Zero Line Filter enable, detect MACD crossover only under zero line for LONG, and detect MACD crossunder only above zero line for SHORT
- If EMA Trend Filter enable, detect MACD crossover which price above EMA for LONG, and detect MACD crossunder which price below EMA for SHORT
- RSI timeframe 1-3 should not lower than chart timeframe to display Overbought and Oversold correctly
- Enable MTF Overbought and Oversold just to display red background for Overbought, and green background for Oversold
There are 3 alert options:
(For those free user which can get only 1 alert, please choose "MACD crossover & crossunder" if you want to get alert for both long and short directions)
Have fun :)
RSI & SMA Strategy By DenizIntroduction
It has always been a major challenge to detect the current market price in technical analysis . There are some basic but strong indicators that help us to estimate the next market action. Relative Strength Index and Simple Moving Average indicators were used in this strategy.
This strategy aims to detect the next market action with different calculations & usages of RSI and SMA indicators.
Strategy Features
As per the result of the calculation from RSI and SMA outputs the strategy will decide to go "Long" or "Short" if the directions are changed from long to short the trade will be closed and it's opening new trade as per to the new direction.
Apart from basic "take profit" and "stop" options there is an additional closing trade option named "Long/Short Bar Count". If the trade could not reach the target in a certain period, it will look for a quit with a 0 loss.
Advantages
Informative alarm messages.
High ratio of Profitable trade numbers.
Disadvantages
Less trade count.
DCA Bot Long/Short Thanks to @TheTradingParrot for the inspiration and knowledge shared.
Thanks to @ericlin0122 for the original DCA Bot Emulator which is the backbone of this strategy.
The script simulates DCA strategy with parameters used in 3commas DCA bots for futures trading. Experiment with parameters
to find your trading setup.
Beware how large your total leveraged position is and how far can market go before you get liquidated!
Do that with the help of futures liquidation calculators you can find online!
I`ve added:
1) an internal average price and profit calculating, instead of TV`s native one, which is subject to severe slippage.
2) I`ve built a graphic interface, so levels are clearly visible and back-test analyzing made easier.
3) now both Long & Short direction of the strategy exist.
4) trailing TP which was featured in the initial script has been removed because TV`s execution model makes
it impossible to know how the real world trailing would have unfolded.
5) the table is self explanatory, and it is there to help you discover what happened and where.
6) vertical colored lines appear when the new maximum deviation from the original price has
been reached
All the trading happens with total account capital, and all order sizes inputs are expressed in percent.
Known issues:
When deviation is small, and the same candle triggers safety AND the close order, the initial orders are closed, but a
new one opens on the next candle. This is "resolved" by closing the unwanted trade forcefully on the next candle, affecting
profit calculating minimally and guaranteeing that what should be closed has been closed.
The code could be improved through use of arrays, making the table flexible so the number of rows should be dynamic depending
on the number of SOs.
!!!!! IMPORTANT!!!!!
This strategy script is made to receive a signal from an exterior study script, which should plot +100 for long or -100 for short
entry (that is by default - values can be changed in the strategy settings menu). That plot should be found in "Enter Trigger" input
dropdown menu at the bottom of strategy settings menu. Removing the "and trigger == long/short_trigger" condition from strategy entry
conditions makes the strategy open trades ASAP.
Cheers!
RSI Cross [xaurr]This is simple but profitable rsi cross strategy, to find optimal values you can change rsi and ema periods.
Good Luck!

GMS: Moving Average Crossover StrategyThis is a moving average crossover system built the way I would want it to be.
- The moving averages included are SMA, EMA, WMA, VWMA.
- You can select either for the first moving average or the second moving average.
- You can also select to see the Long trades, Short trades, or both at the same time.
- There is also a simple moving average trend filter. When this is selected, it only applies to the entries of a trade and not the exit. There are situations where the entry is above the trend filter and the exit is below.
The source code should be open so feel free to adapt it, make it more efficient, or take some part for your own project!
I hope it helps,
Andre
GMS: RSI & ROC StrategyThis is a basic strategy like the RSI one I posted. This one adds in the Rate of Change indicator as well.
You can separate the two for RSI only and ROC only. Everything else is the same as the RSI strategy.
- Simple moving average trend filter.
- Simple moving average trade exit.
- Both long and short or each on it's own.
The source code should be open if you want to see it or modify it for your own project. I hope it helps!

Rúnar V2 - Trend Strength, Confirmation and ExhaustionHi guys,
So after a lot of feedback on the initial Runar script, I have finally completed V2 as per your feedback. The original script had some issues with repainting as this is a multi-time frame script and the periods we included on the original were far too large. This actually addresses the other issue of the script originally being quite slow or very specific around which dots/signals it would print. The new script is therefor a lot more reactive and responsive to market behavior especially crypto.
I have re-introduced the Certainty score as a result for you to modify and play with. Right now its set to its highest variable, but you can choose lower. I recommend no lower than 2 as dots prints will become meaningless to me but may be helpful to others.
How to use the indicator:
Something I get asked a lot, so lets break it down in full. The indicator comes with two primary areas and two secondary. The first two primary is the actual waves we see in the center oscillating around 0. These waves measure market direction and strength and will print a dot (its secondary) to signify a larger move. This makes some qualities of Runar predictive, but remember sudden moves will not be picked up on higher time frames.
The color of the wave will signify the color of the dot. We will not currently get a green dot printing during a red wave. This is intentional to avoid flip flopping too much during market movement and allows us to confidently follow trend instead.
The second part of the indicator consists of the top 3 lines osculating between 0 and 100. This part of the indicator measures the markets expansion and volatility allowing us to spot early exhaustion during trend. The indicator consists of three lines and when all 3 read over 95 we can begin looking for a bottom or reversal. Its secondary area are the solid lines (green/red) at the bottom of the indicator to make spotting these potential areas easier and to keep an eye on the market/orderbook/other indicators to spot the exhaustion.
A green line will print during downtrends and a red line during up trends as this is intended to align with the traditional buy/sell colours.
Finally the indicator comes with alerts for dot prints or a line print so you are free to set these up however you wish. My recommended time frames are 15m/1/2/4H with scalpers welcome to go as low as the 1min.
