A spinoff from a previous script I published, this configurable indicator also selects highs and lows and then plots a trend line that bounces between them. In addition, it also iterates this up to two more times in a quasi-fractal manner, on larger time scales, and plots them on the same graph.
Of course this will not spit out Elliott waves, but with adjusting,...
Use 2 timeframe:
Current timeframe + configurable timeframe (default: 6hours)
Get resistance & support for both timeframe.
Entry when breakout both resistance or both support
Thank you & happy trading!
I love the default TradingView "Williams Fractal" indicator but I wanted want more flexibility to customize the style of the fractals like the wonderful indicator by @miyako.pro (1).
After noticing a missing fractal, I was intrigued to create a new indicator inspired by how Bill Williams describes fractals in his book Trading Chaos (2).

Accumulation is a term used to describe a market controlled by buyers;
whereas distribution is defined by a market controlled by sellers.
Williams recommends trading this indicator based on divergences:
Distribution of the security is indicated when the security is making
a new high and the A/D indicator is failing to make a new high. Sell.
First of all, huge credit to synapticEx, whose brilliant use of the security function inspired me to figure out a way to get quasi-shape boundaries automatically drawn on a chart.
This study draws upper and lower trend lines, based on configurable fractal*** reversal detection, calculates slope from the last two upper or lower reversal points, and then extends a...
I am not certain if something similar is already available out there. However, here's my own implementation of my simple idea of using the length of the candle-body or wicks (high-low) to derive a Volatility Index/Oscillator.
I intent to later use this to filter out signals in my Buy/Sell suggestion/strategy scripts during periods of low volatility.
If you do...
This is standard Williams %R originally written by another user that I modified. Credit to him whose name escapes me at the moment. The green line is 13EMA and red line is 13SMA (offset by 2 for timing trades). Great for very quick trades/day trades. Green over red = long. Red over Green = short.
Beware: this is still a choppy indicator. You'll need to use it...
