XAUMO MegaBar Detector – Breakout Candle Identification Tool

Purpose:
The XAUMO MegaBar Detector is built to highlight rare, high-impact candles where strong price movement and high trading volume occur together. These moments often reflect aggressive market activity and can be used to confirm potential breakouts or reversals.

How It Works (High-Level Overview)
The tool continuously monitors two primary conditions:

1. Price Expansion – Identifies large-bodied candles compared to recent averages.
   
2. Volume Expansion – Confirms that the move is supported by above-average trading activity.
   

When both conditions are present, the candle is marked:
🟢 Mega Bull – Strong bullish pressure.
🔴 Mega Bear – Strong bearish pressure.

📈 WHY IT MATTERS
Mega Bars = intent, not random spikes.
🟢 Mega Bull near support/Fib pullback → Likely accumulation
🔴 Mega Bear near resistance/Fib extension → Likely distribution or trap

🔧 HOW TO TRADE IT
1. WAIT FOR IT
No Mega Bar → No trade.
Mega Bull (big green) → BUY bias.
Mega Bear (big red) → SELL bias.

2. FIND THE SPOT
Fib levels: 61.8% / 78.6% / 138.2%
Major Support/Resistance

3. CONFIRM ON BIGGER TIMEFRAME
Example: 15M Mega Bar → Check 1H trend direction.

4. SET YOUR LEVELS
Stop-Loss:
Long → Below Mega Bull low (+0.2×ATR)
Short → Above Mega Bear high (+0.2×ATR)

Take-Profit:
Fib extensions: 127.2% / 161.8% / 261.8%

Update — XAUMO MEGABAR Detector: Dual MegaBar Engine (Main + Scalp 1.5/1.2/5)

This update introduces a second MegaBar layer designed specifically for scalping,
while keeping the original XAUMO MegaBar logic fully intact.

What’s new:

• Scalp MegaBar Engine (1.5 / 1.2 / 5)
- New optional module: detects Scalp Mega Bull / Scalp Mega Bear based on:
• Body > 1.5× average body (last 5 bars)
• Volume > 1.2× average volume (last 5 bars)
• Lookback default = 5 bars (fully adjustable in inputs).

• Dual Signal Structure (Main + Scalp)
- Original Mega Bull / Mega Bear logic is preserved (auto/override multipliers).
- New Scalp Mega layer runs in parallel for tighter, intraday-style signals.

• Visuals & Labels
- Main MegaBars still highlight as purple.
- Scalp MegaBars highlight as orange when triggered.
- Main labels:
🟢 “Mega Bull” / 🔴 “Mega Bear” (printed near the high).
- Scalp labels:
🟢 “Scalp Mega Bull (1.5/1.2/5)” / 🔴 “Scalp Mega Bear (1.5/1.2/5)”

Idea behind the update:
The indicator now separates structural MegaBars (trend / higher conviction)
from Scalp MegaBars (short-term volatility bursts), giving traders clearer context:
when to treat a bar as a swing-level ignition vs. a scalp-level opportunity.

Update — XAUMO MEGABAR Detector (UI Cleanup + ATR Offset Labels)

This build is a visual + UX cleanup of the dual MegaBar engine:

• Cleaner Inputs
- Removed engine tuning from the Inputs panel (no more clutter).
- Main MegaBar engine still runs auto by timeframe (2.2 / 1.8 / 30 etc.).
- Scalp MegaBar engine is fixed at the classic 1.5 / 1.2 / 5 internally.

• Monospace-Style Signal Labels
- Main: 🟢 "Mega Bull" / 🔴 "Mega Bear"
- Scalp: 🟢 "Scalp Mega Bull" / 🔴 "Scalp Mega Bear"
- Label text is now consistent and easy to read at a glance.

• Background + Color Controls
- Separate color controls for:
– Main MegaBar bars + label background/text
– Scalp MegaBar bars + label background/text
- Lets you fully theme the detector to your chart style.

• ATR-Based Vertical Offset
- Both main and scalp labels are offset using ATR:
– Main labels float above the bar (high + ATR * factor)
– Scalp labels sit below the bar (low − ATR * factor)
- Offset factor is adjustable from Inputs, so labels stay clean and readable
across different instruments and timeframes.

Result:
The engine logic is unchanged, but the presentation is now much cleaner:
fewer inputs, clearer labels, better spacing, and full visual control over how
MegaBars and Scalp MegaBars appear on your chart.
