HTF Break & Acceptance

62
HTF Break & Acceptance is a non-repainting market structure indicator designed to identify high-timeframe support and resistance breaks followed by early price acceptance.

Instead of generating frequent buy or sell signals, this tool focuses on context:
• Where a meaningful HTF level is broken
• Whether price holds beyond that level
• Whether the break shows early follow-through

The indicator uses a state-based framework (WAIT → BREAK → ACCEPTANCE) and applies strict confirmation rules, including optional HTF close validation and ATR-based buffers, to filter out weak or false breakouts.

All calculations are performed on closed candles only, ensuring the indicator is non-repainting and reliable for real-time use.

This makes it ideal for traders who want clean structure confirmation before executing trades using their own entry and risk rules.

How to Use
Step 1: Select a Higher Timeframe (HTF)
Choose the timeframe from which you want to derive key support and resistance levels.
Examples:
Intraday trading → Daily HTF
Swing trading → Weekly HTF

Step 2: Watch for “BRK”
This label appears when price breaks a HTF support or resistance level with confirmation.
It signals a potential structural shift, not an entry.

Step 3: Look for “ENTRY” or “EXIT”
These labels appear when price accepts beyond the same HTF level within the next 1–2 candles.
This indicates early follow-through and improves trade quality.

Step 4: Apply Your Own Trade Plan. Use the signal as confirmation only.

Combine it with:
• Your preferred entry technique
• Risk management rules
• Targets and exits

Notes & Best Practices
• Signals are non-repainting
• Acceptance is allowed within 1–2 candles after the break
• ATR buffer helps reduce false breakouts
• The indicator is direction-agnostic (works for both long & short)
• Best used alongside structure, trend, or execution-based tools
