Year - 5 billion to -10,000: The world is a primitive dump. Humans appear at some point and how to put it simply, wipe their behinds with their hands.
Year -10,000 to 1300: Cities start popping around rivers, in particular the mediterranean region is a very big deal. With the establishement of trade routes (also war had a little bit to do with this) the world becomes more civilized, middle east, mediterranean region, east africa, east asia, somewhere in the americas idk, europe. There are countries, laws, soap gets made, etc.
Year 1300 to 2000: Trading gets to a new level when fibonacci pretty much creates finance in the north of Italy (thanks to the import of the 0 number from India/North Africa). First currencies are traded, then in the 1600s or somewhere around that time the first stock market opens. From 1600 we can really say the world is civilized and open. I would not want to get teleported to year -50,000 and live in a tent made of leaves and poop with a bunch of apes and have a boring life where I cannot even write about the world I study (which would be probably the only interesting thing to do - or maybe make myself pass for a god and I will stop here xd), living in ancient rome meh... World was so backwards. Since 1600 thought... We have options. Things get done. The world is open. People are more open minded.
+ annectode: Remember China stagnated for centuries when they locked themselves up.
I could explain further but I do not think it is necessary: making a worldwide market for high tech, with less regulations, less waste of time, more efficiency, open 247, whole planet can participate, would accelerate innovation like we have NEVER SEEN before. I am talking throwing away Oil as an energy source once and for all and mars colonization and visiting other solar systems here.
And yes... Those that bet on the right ones and help them grow will be rewarded, this is what seems to attract most people...
I won't list mass extinctions like I lissted years above, so to sum up there were a handful of mass extinctions since life appeared on earth and each was followed by an explosion of more advanced creatures. Ok so we are in the biggest mass extinction now so maybe this is over optimistic, but if we manage to stop it or are part of the next step and it is not just a decline until only cockroaches are left...
Crypto needs a mass extinction... Too many leeches sucking the lifeforce out of it. All the pointless scams need to die. BTC HAS to go to zero. All the noobs have to be decimated. BTC WILL GO TO ZERO. The question is how fast? The stock market is going to need to cool off anyway (why do these central banks and government push the bubble to grow more? Because they are old and do not care about the future?)
If it just takes 5-10 years, GREAT! At the same time we do not want a nuclear WW3... The future would be bright but... a little too bright... if you know what I mean...
I will really be happy when this useless primitive ponzi prototype BTC goes to zero, and perhaps new flowers will grow off its carcass. With an actual use case. I like the idea of a real worldwide market for investing in high tech and make it grow way faster than even before. With the whole world open to innovation rather than just the US silicon valley... As well as investors from the whole world participating... How far and fast can we go?
