MAHI Indicator v9.5 - Smart Momentum HUD + IntradayMAHI Indicator v9.5 — Smart Momentum HUD (Multi-Framework + Intraday Engine)
A Complete Momentum, Trend, and Setup Framework for Swing, Position & Intraday Traders
MAHI v9.5 is the most advanced version yet — a highly optimized, visual, multi-framework trading system that blends momentum, trend alignment, adaptive setup detection, and now Auto-Intraday Mode for short-term traders.
This indicator acts like a Heads-Up Display (HUD) on your chart: it shows trend strength, squeeze zones, dynamic support/resistance, EMAs, setup validation, and early reversal signals in one clean interface — without clutter.
✔ Core Features
📌 1. Smart Momentum Ribbon
A dynamic EMA-based momentum band that visually shifts as trend strength changes.
Helps identify strong vs. weak momentum zones
Adapts to volatility & trend slope
Works on all timeframes (1m to 1M)
📌 2. EMA 9 → 21 Flip System
A precision trend-switching signal:
EMA 9 → 21 BULL = early bullish momentum
EMA 9 → 21 BEAR = early bearish momentum
More reliable than stand-alone MA crossovers
📌 3. Bullish Setup Engine (Standard + Weak)
Automatically identifies when price is entering a reversal-ready state based on:
Position relative to the ribbon
Candle structure
Momentum compression
Slope + exhaustion conditions
Includes:
Bull Setup (Standard) — Higher probability setup
Bull Setup (Weak) — Early or less developed setup
Setup Invalidated — Confirms that the pattern failed
This prevents false confidence & keeps traders disciplined.
📌 4. Strong Buy / Strong Sell Signals
Only appear when multiple confirmations align:
Ribbon bias
EMA slope
Momentum compression
Trend alignment
Filtered to remove noise — especially in lower timeframes.
📌 5. Multi-Timeframe Trend HUD
Top-right panel summarizing:
Overall Trend (Bullish, Bearish, Neutral)
RSI Condition
Daily vs Weekly Alignment
Trading Mode Suggestions (Buy / Sell / LEAPS / Neutral)
This gives instant context.
📌 6. Auto Intraday Engine (NEW in v9.5)
Automatically switches internal logic when you move into intraday timeframes (1m–30m):
Intraday Enhancements:
Adaptive setup detection
Faster momentum sensitivity
EMAs tuned for scalp/swing precision
Tighter invalidation logic
Reduced false positives
Optional strict filtering
Perfect for scalping, day trading & micro-trends
Works instantly — no settings needed.
Just change the chart timeframe and MAHI adjusts.
📌 7. Dynamic High-Timeframe Support (W & M)
Auto-layers weekly & monthly levels:
Helps identify strong bounce zones
Extremely useful for swing & LEAPS traders
📌 8. Weekly Volume Shelf Projection
Lightweight VWAP-style level based on weekly volume aggregation.
Shows probable bottoming areas during pullbacks.
✔ Who This Indicator Is For
Perfect for:
Day traders
Swing traders
Momentum riders
LEAPS & long-term investors
Beginner traders needing a structured system
MAHI adapts to your timeframe and trading style.
✔ Why MAHI Works
MAHI isn’t a single-signal indicator — it’s a framework.
It combines:
Trend
Momentum
Volatility
Setup pattern detection
Validation & invalidation
Multi-timeframe alignment
Dynamic zones
Intraday optimization
This eliminates guesswork and helps traders avoid the emotional traps that cause most losses.
You don’t just get a signal — you get context.

Stochastic Hash Strat [Hash Capital Research]# Stochastic Hash Strategy by Hash Capital Research
## 🎯 What Is This Strategy?
The **Stochastic Slow Strategy** is a momentum-based trading system that identifies oversold and overbought market conditions to capture mean-reversion opportunities. Think of it as a "buy low, sell high" approach with smart mathematical filters that remove emotion from your trading decisions.
Unlike fast-moving indicators that generate excessive noise, this strategy uses **smoothed stochastic oscillators** to identify only the highest-probability setups when momentum truly shifts.
---
## 💡 Why This Strategy Works
Most traders fail because they:
- **Chase prices** after big moves (buying high, selling low)
- **Overtrade** in choppy, directionless markets
- **Exit too early** or hold losses too long
This strategy solves all three problems:
1. **Entry Discipline**: Only trades when the stochastic oscillator crosses in extreme zones (oversold for longs, overbought for shorts)
2. **Cooldown Filter**: Prevents revenge trading by forcing a waiting period after each trade
3. **Fixed Risk/Reward**: Pre-defined stop-loss and take-profit levels ensure consistent risk management
**The Math Behind It**: The stochastic oscillator measures where the current price sits relative to its recent high-low range. When it's below 25, the market is oversold (time to buy). When above 70, it's overbought (time to sell). The crossover with its moving average confirms momentum is shifting.
---
## 📊 Best Markets & Timeframes
### ⭐ OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE:
**Crude Oil (WTI) - 12H Timeframe**
- **Why it works**: Oil markets have predictable volatility patterns and respect technical levels
**AAVE/USD - 4H to 12H Timeframe**
- **Why it works**: DeFi tokens exhibit strong momentum cycles with clear extremes
### ✅ Also Works Well On:
- **BTC/USD** (12H, Daily) - Lower frequency but high win rate
- **ETH/USD** (8H, 12H) - Balanced volatility and liquidity
- **Gold (XAU/USD)** (Daily) - Classic mean-reversion asset
- **EUR/USD** (4H, 8H) - Lower volatility, requires patience
### ❌ Avoid Using On:
- Timeframes below 4H (too much noise)
- Low-liquidity altcoins (wide spreads kill performance)
- Strongly trending markets without pullbacks (Bitcoin in 2021)
- News-driven instruments during major events
---
## 🎛️ Understanding The Settings
### Core Stochastic Parameters
**Stochastic Length (Default: 16)**
- Controls the lookback period for price comparison
- Lower = faster reactions, more signals (10-14 for volatile markets)
- Higher = smoother signals, fewer trades (16-21 for stable markets)
- **Pro tip**: Use 10 for crypto 4H, 16 for commodities 12H
**Overbought Level (Default: 70)**
- Threshold for short entries
- Lower values (65-70) = more trades, earlier entries
- Higher values (75-80) = fewer but higher-conviction trades
- **Sweet spot**: 70 works for most assets
**Oversold Level (Default: 25)**
- Threshold for long entries
- Higher values (25-30) = more trades, earlier entries
- Lower values (15-20) = fewer but stronger bounce setups
- **Sweet spot**: 20-25 depending on market conditions
**Smooth K & Smooth D (Default: 7 & 3)**
- Additional smoothing to filter out whipsaws
- K=7 makes the indicator slower and more reliable
- D=3 is the signal line that confirms the trend
- **Don't change these unless you know what you're doing**
---
### Risk Management
**Stop Loss % (Default: 2.2%)**
- Automatically exits losing trades
- Should be 1.5x to 2x your average market volatility
- Too tight = death by a thousand cuts
- Too wide = uncontrolled losses
- **Calibration**: Check ATR indicator and set SL slightly above it
**Take Profit % (Default: 7%)**
- Automatically exits winning trades
- Should be 2.5x to 3x your stop loss (reward-to-risk ratio)
- This default gives 7% / 2.2% = 3.18:1 R:R
- **The golden rule**: Never have R:R below 2:1
---
### Trade Filters
**Bar Cooldown Filter (Default: ON, 3 bars)**
- **What it does**: Forces you to wait X bars after closing a trade before entering a new one
- **Why it matters**: Prevents emotional revenge trading and overtrading in choppy markets
- **Settings guide**:
- 3 bars = Standard (good for most cases)
- 5-7 bars = Conservative (oil, slow-moving assets)
- 1-2 bars = Aggressive (only for experienced traders)
**Exit on Opposite Extreme (Default: ON)**
- Closes your long when stochastic hits overbought (and vice versa)
- Acts as an early profit-taking mechanism
- **Leave this ON** unless you're testing other exit strategies
**Divergence Filter (Default: OFF)**
- Looks for price/momentum divergences for additional confirmation
- **When to enable**: Trending markets where you want fewer but higher-quality trades
- **Keep OFF for**: Mean-reverting markets (oil, forex, most of the time)
---
## 🚀 Quick Start Guide
### Step 1: Set Up in TradingView
1. Open TradingView and navigate to your chart
2. Click "Pine Editor" at the bottom
3. Copy and paste the strategy code
4. Click "Add to Chart"
5. The strategy will appear in a separate pane below your price chart
### Step 2: Choose Your Market
**If you're trading Crude Oil:**
- Timeframe: 12H
- Keep all default settings
- Watch for signals during London/NY overlap (8am-11am EST)
**If you're trading AAVE or crypto:**
- Timeframe: 4H or 12H
- Consider these adjustments:
- Stochastic Length: 10-14 (faster)
- Oversold: 20 (more aggressive)
- Take Profit: 8-10% (higher targets)
### Step 3: Wait for Your First Signal
**LONG Entry** (Green circle appears):
- Stochastic crosses up below oversold level (25)
- Price likely near recent lows
- System places limit order at take profit and stop loss
**SHORT Entry** (Red circle appears):
- Stochastic crosses down above overbought level (70)
- Price likely near recent highs
- System places limit order at take profit and stop loss
**EXIT** (Orange circle):
- Position closes either at stop, target, or opposite extreme
- Cooldown period begins
### Step 4: Let It Run
The biggest mistake? **Interfering with the system.**
- Don't close trades early because you're scared
- Don't skip signals because you "have a feeling"
- Don't increase position size after a big win
- Don't revenge trade after a loss
**Follow the system or don't use it at all.**
---
### Important Risks:
1. **Drawdown Pain**: You WILL experience losing streaks of 5-7 trades. This is mathematically normal.
2. **Whipsaw Markets**: Choppy, range-bound conditions can trigger multiple small losses.
3. **Gap Risk**: Overnight gaps can cause your actual fill to be worse than the stop loss.
4. **Slippage**: Real execution prices differ from backtested prices (factor in 0.1-0.2% slippage).
---
## 🔧 Optimization Guide
### When to Adjust Settings:
**Market Volatility Increased?**
- Widen stop loss by 0.5-1%
- Increase take profit proportionally
- Consider increasing cooldown to 5-7 bars
**Getting Too Few Signals?**
- Decrease stochastic length to 10-12
- Increase oversold to 30, decrease overbought to 65
- Reduce cooldown to 2 bars
**Getting Too Many Losses?**
- Increase stochastic length to 18-21 (slower, smoother)
- Enable divergence filter
- Increase cooldown to 5+ bars
- Verify you're on the right timeframe
### A/B Testing Method:
1. **Run default settings for 50 trades** on your chosen market
2. Document: Win rate, profit factor, max drawdown, emotional tolerance
3. **Change ONE variable** (e.g., oversold from 25 to 20)
4. Run another 50 trades
5. Compare results
6. Keep the better version
**Never change multiple settings at once** or you won't know what worked.

## 📚 Educational Resources
### Key Concepts to Learn:
**Stochastic Oscillator**
- Developed by George Lane in the 1950s
- Measures momentum by comparing closing price to price range
- Formula: %K = (Close - Low) / (High - Low) × 100
- Similar to RSI but more sensitive to price movements
**Mean Reversion vs. Trend Following**
- This is a **mean reversion** strategy (price returns to average)
- Works best in ranging markets with defined support/resistance
- Fails in strong trending markets (2017 Bitcoin, 2020 Tech stocks)
- Complement with trend filters for better results
**Risk:Reward Ratio**
- The cornerstone of profitable trading
- Winning 40% of trades with 3:1 R:R = profitable
- Winning 60% of trades with 1:1 R:R = breakeven (after fees)
- **This strategy aims for 45% win rate with 2.5-3:1 R:R**

## 🛠️ Troubleshooting
### "I'm not seeing any signals!"
**Check:**
- Is your timeframe 4H or higher?
- Is the stochastic actually reaching extreme levels (check if your asset is stuck in middle range)?
- Is cooldown still active from a previous trade?
- Are you on a low-liquidity pair?
**Solution**: Switch to a more volatile asset or lower the overbought/oversold thresholds.
---
### "The strategy keeps losing money!"
**Check:**
- What's your win rate? (Below 35% is concerning)
- What's your profit factor? (Below 0.8 means serious issues)
- Are you trading during major news events?
- Is the market in a strong trend?
**Solution**:
1. Verify you're using recommended markets/timeframes
2. Increase cooldown period to avoid choppy markets
3. Reduce position size to 5% while you diagnose
4. Consider switching to daily timeframe for less noise
---
### "My stop losses keep getting hit!"
**Check:**
- Is your stop loss tighter than the average ATR?
- Are you trading during high-volatility sessions?
- Is slippage eating into your buffer?
**Solution**:
1. Calculate the 14-period ATR
2. Set stop loss to 1.5x the ATR value
3. Avoid trading right after market open or major news
4. Factor in 0.2% slippage for crypto, 0.1% for oil
---
## 💪 Pro Tips from the Trenches
### Psychological Discipline
**The Three Deadly Sins:**
1. **Skipping signals** - "This one doesn't feel right"
2. **Early exits** - "I'll just take profit here to be safe"
3. **Revenge trading** - "I need to make back that loss NOW"
**The Solution:** Treat your strategy like a business system. Would McDonald's skip making fries because the cashier "doesn't feel like it today"? No. Systems work because of consistency.
---
### Position Management
**Scaling In/Out** (Advanced)
- Enter 50% position at signal
- Add 50% if stochastic reaches 10 (oversold) or 90 (overbought)
- Exit 50% at 1.5x take profit, let the rest run
**This is NOT for beginners.** Master the basic system first.
---
### Market Awareness
**Oil Traders:**
- OPEC meetings = volatility spikes (avoid or widen stops)
- US inventory reports (Wed 10:30am EST) = avoid trading 2 hours before/after
- Summer driving season = different patterns than winter
**Crypto Traders:**
- Monday-Tuesday = typically lower volatility (fewer signals)
- Thursday-Sunday = higher volatility (more signals)
- Avoid trading during exchange maintenance windows

Luxy Super-Duper SuperTrend Predictor Engine and Buy/Sell signalA professional trend-following grading system that analyzes historical trend
patterns to provide statistical duration estimates using advanced similarity
matching and k-nearest neighbors analysis. Combines adaptive Supertrend with
intelligent duration statistics, multi-timeframe confluence, volume confirmation,
and quality scoring to identify high-probability setups with data-driven
target ranges across all timeframes.
Note: All duration estimates are statistical calculations based on historical data, not guarantees of future performance.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Unlike traditional SuperTrend indicators that only tell you trend direction, this system answers the critical question: "What is the typical duration for trends like this?"
The Statistical Analysis Engine:
• Analyzes your chart's last 15+ completed SuperTrend trends (bullish and bearish separately)
• Uses k-nearest neighbors similarity matching to find historically similar setups
• Calculates statistical duration estimates based on current market conditions
• Learns from estimation errors and adapts over time (Advanced mode)
• Displays visual duration analysis box showing median, average, and range estimates
• Tracks Statistical accuracy with backtest statistics
Complete Trading System:
• Statistical trend duration analysis with three intelligence levels

KEY FEATURES
1. TREND DURATION ANALYSIS SYSTEM - The Core Innovation
The statistical analysis engine is what sets this indicator apart from standard SuperTrend systems. It doesn't just identify trend changes - it provides statistical analysis of potential duration.
How It Works:
Step 1: Historical Tracking
• Automatically records every completed SuperTrend trend (duration in bars)
• Maintains separate databases for bullish trends and bearish trends
• Stores up to 15 most recent trends of each type
• Captures market conditions at each trend flip: volume ratio, ATR ratio, quality score, price distance from SuperTrend, proximity to support/resistance
Step 2: Similarity Matching (k-Nearest Neighbors)
• When new trend begins, system compares current conditions to ALL historical flips
• Calculates similarity score based on:
- Volume similarity (30% weight) - Is volume behaving similarly?
- Volatility similarity (30% weight) - Is ATR/volatility similar?
- Quality similarity (20% weight) - Is setup strength comparable?
- Distance similarity (10% weight) - Is price distance from ST similar?
- Support/Resistance proximity (10% weight) - Similar structural context?
• Selects the 15 MOST SIMILAR historical trends (not just all trends)
• This is like asking: "When conditions looked like this before, how long did trends last?"
Step 3: Statistical Analysis
• Calculates median duration (most common outcome)
• Calculates average duration (mean of similar trends)
• Determines realistic range (min to max of similar trends)
• Applies exponential weighting (recent trends weighted more heavily)
• Outputs confidence-weighted statistical estimate
Step 4: Advanced Intelligence (Advanced Mode Only)
The Advanced mode applies five sophisticated multipliers to refine estimates:
A) Market Structure Multiplier (±30%):
• Detects nearby support/resistance levels using pivot detection
• If flip occurs NEAR a key level: Estimate adjusted -30% (expect bounce/rejection)
• If flip occurs in open space: Estimate adjusted +30% (clear path for continuation)
• Uses configurable lookback period and ATR-based proximity threshold
B) Asset Type Multiplier (±40%):
• Adjusts duration estimates based on asset volatility characteristics
• Small Cap / Biotech: +40% (explosive, extended moves)
• Tech Growth: +20% (momentum-driven, longer trends)
• Blue Chip / Large Cap: 0% (baseline, steady trends)
• Dividend / Value: -20% (slower, grinding trends)
• Cyclical: Variable based on macro regime
• Crypto / High Volatility: +30% (parabolic potential)
C) Flip Strength Multiplier (±20%):
• Analyzes the QUALITY of the trend flip itself
• Strong flip (high volume + expanding ATR + quality score 60+): +20%
• Weak flip (low volume + contracting ATR + quality score under 40): -20%
• Logic: Historical data shows that powerful flips tend to be followed by longer trends
D) Error Learning Multiplier (±15%):
• Tracks Statistical accuracy over last 10 completed trends
• Calculates error ratio: (estimated duration / Actual Duration)
• If system consistently over-estimates: Apply -15% correction
• If system consistently under-estimates: Apply +15% correction
• Learns and adapts to current market regime
E) Regime Detection Multiplier (±20%):
• Analyzes last 3 trends of SAME TYPE (bull-to-bull or bear-to-bear)
• Compares recent trend durations to historical average
• If recent trends 20%+ longer than average: +20% adjustment (trending regime detected)
• If recent trends 20%+ shorter than average: -20% adjustment (choppy regime detected)
• Detects whether market is in trending or mean-reversion mode
Three analysis modes:
SIMPLE MODE - Basic Statistics
• Uses raw median of similar trends only
• No multipliers, no adjustments
• Best for: Beginners, clean trending markets
• Fastest calculations, minimal complexity
STANDARD MODE - Full Statistical Analysis
• Similarity matching with k-nearest neighbors
• Exponential weighting of recent trends
• Median, average, and range calculations
• Best for: Most traders, general market conditions
• Balance of accuracy and simplicity
ADVANCED MODE - Statistics + Intelligence
• Everything in Standard mode PLUS
• All 5 advanced multipliers (structure, asset type, flip strength, learning, regime)
• Highest Statistical accuracy in testing
• Best for: Experienced traders, volatile/complex markets
• Maximum intelligence, most adaptive
Visual Duration Analysis Box:
When a new trend begins (SuperTrend flip), a box appears on your chart showing:
• Analysis Mode (Simple / Standard / Advanced)
• Number of historical trends analyzed
• Median expected duration (most likely outcome)
• Average expected duration (mean of similar trends)
• Range (minimum to maximum from similar trends)
• Advanced multipliers breakdown (Advanced mode only)
• Backtest accuracy statistics (if available)
The box extends from the flip bar to the estimated endpoint based on historical data, giving you a visual target for trend duration. Box updates in real-time as trend progresses.
Backtest & Accuracy Tracking:
• System backtests its own duration estimates using historical data
• Shows accuracy metrics: how well duration estimates matched actual durations
• Tracks last 10 completed duration estimates separately
• Displays statistics in dashboard and duration analysis boxes
• Helps you understand statistical reliability on your specific symbol/timeframe
Anti-Repaint Guarantee:
• duration analysis boxes only appear AFTER bar close (barstate.isconfirmed)
• Historical duration estimates never disappear or change
• What you see in history is exactly what you would have seen real-time
• No future data leakage, no lookahead bias
2. INTELLIGENT PRESET CONFIGURATIONS - One-Click Optimization
Unlike indicators that require tedious parameter tweaking, this system includes professionally optimized presets for every trading style. Select your approach from the dropdown and ALL parameters auto-configure.
"AUTO (DETECT FROM TF)" - RECOMMENDED
The smartest option: automatically selects optimal settings based on your chart timeframe.
• 1m-5m charts → Scalping preset (ATR: 7, Mult: 2.0)
• 15m-1h charts → Day Trading preset (ATR: 10, Mult: 2.5)

• Volume Momentum: AUTO-DISABLED (too restrictive for fast scalping)
• Quality minimum: 40 points (accepts more setups)
• Duration Analysis: Uses last 15 trends with heavy recent weighting
Trading Logic:
Speed over precision. Short ATR period and low multiplier create highly responsive SuperTrend. Volume momentum filter disabled to avoid missing fast moves. Quality threshold relaxed to catch more opportunities in rapid market conditions.
Signals per session: 5-15 typically
Hold time: Minutes to couple hours
Best for: Active traders with fast execution
"DAY TRADING (15M-1H)" - Balanced Approach
Optimized for: 15-minute to 1-hour charts, intraday moves, session-based trading
Target holding period: 30 minutes to 8 hours (within trading day)
Best markets: Large-cap stocks, major indices, established crypto
Parameter Configuration:
• Supertrend: ATR 10, Multiplier 2.5 (balanced)
• Volume: MA 20, High 1.5x, Spike 2.5x (standard detection)
• Volume Momentum: 5/20 periods (confirms intraday strength)

• Volume Momentum: 10/30 periods (trend stability)
• Quality minimum: 60 points (high-quality setups only)
• Duration Analysis: Favors consistent historical patterns
Trading Logic:
Designed for substantial trend moves while filtering short-term noise. Higher ATR period and multiplier create stable SuperTrend that won't flip on minor corrections. Stricter quality requirements ensure only strongest setups generate signals.
Signals per week: 2-5 typically
Hold time: Days to couple weeks
Best for: Part-time traders, swing style
"POSITION TRADING (D-W)" - Long-Term Trends
Optimized for: Daily to Weekly charts, major trend changes, portfolio allocation
Target holding period: Weeks to months

3. QUALITY SCORING SYSTEM (0-70 Points)
Every signal is rated in real-time across three dimensions:
Volume Confirmation (0-30 points):
• Volume Spike (2.5x+ average): 30 points
• High Volume (1.5x+ average): 20 points
• Above Average (1.0x+ average): 10 points
• Below Average: 0 points
Volatility Assessment (0-30 points):
• Expanding ATR (1.2x+ average): 30 points
• Rising ATR (1.0-1.2x average): 15 points
• Contracting/Stable ATR: 0 points
Volume Momentum (0-10 points):
• Strong Momentum (1.2x+ ratio): 10 points
• Rising Momentum (1.0-1.2x ratio): 5 points
• Weak/Neutral Momentum: 0 points
Score Interpretation:
60-70 points - EXCELLENT:
• All factors aligned
• High conviction setup
• Maximum position size (within risk limits)
• Primary trading opportunities
45-59 points - STRONG:
• Multiple confirmations present
• Above-average setup quality
• Standard position size
• Good trading opportunities
30-44 points - GOOD:
• Basic confirmations met
• Acceptable setup quality
• Reduced position size
• Wait for additional confirmation or trade smaller
Below 30 points - WEAK:
• Minimal confirmations
• Low probability setup
• Consider passing
• Only for aggressive traders in strong trends
Only signals meeting your minimum quality threshold (configurable per preset) generate alerts and labels.
4. MULTI-TIMEFRAME CONFLUENCE ANALYSIS
The system can simultaneously analyze trend alignment across 6 timeframes (optional feature):
Timeframes analyzed:
• 5-minute (scalping context)
• 15-minute (intraday momentum)
• 1-hour (day trading bias)
• 4-hour (swing context)
• Daily (primary trend)
• Weekly (macro trend)
Confluence Interpretation:
• 5-6/6 aligned - Very strong multi-timeframe agreement (highest confidence)
• 3-4/6 aligned - Moderate agreement (standard setup)
• 1-2/6 aligned - Weak agreement (caution advised)
Dashboard shows real-time alignment count with color-coding. Higher confluence typically correlates with longer, stronger trends.
5. VOLUME MOMENTUM FILTER - Institutional Money Flow
Unlike traditional volume indicators that just measure size, Volume Momentum tracks the RATE OF CHANGE in volume:
How it works:
• Compares short-term volume average (fast period) to long-term average (slow period)
• Ratio above 1.0 = Volume accelerating (money flowing IN)
• Ratio above 1.2 = Strong acceleration (institutional participation likely)
• Ratio below 0.8 = Volume decelerating (money flowing OUT)
Why it matters:
• Confirms trend with actual money flow, not just price
• Leading indicator (volume often leads price)
• Catches accumulation/distribution before breakouts
• More intuitive than complex mathematical filters
Integration with signals:
• Optional filter - can be enabled/disabled per preset
• When enabled: Only signals with rising volume momentum fire
• AUTO-DISABLED in Scalping mode (too restrictive for fast trading)
• Configurable fast/slow periods per trading style
6. ADAPTIVE SUPERTREND MULTIPLIER
Traditional SuperTrend uses fixed ATR multiplier. This system dynamically adjusts the multiplier (0.8x to 1.2x base) based on:
• Trend Strength: Price correlation over lookback period
• Volume Weight: Current volume relative to average
Benefits:
• Tighter bands in calm markets (less premature exits)
• Wider bands in volatile conditions (avoids whipsaws)
• Better adaptation to biotech, small-cap, and crypto volatility
• Optional - can be disabled for classic constant multiplier
7. VISUAL GRADIENT RIBBON
26-layer exponential gradient fill between price and SuperTrend line provides instant visual trend strength assessment:
Color System:
• Green shades - Bullish trend + volume confirmation (strongest)
• Blue shades - Bullish trend, normal volume
• Orange shades - Bearish trend + volume confirmation
• Red shades - Bearish trend (weakest)
Opacity varies based on:
• Distance from SuperTrend (farther = more opaque)
• Volume intensity (higher volume = stronger color)
The ribbon provides at-a-glance trend strength without cluttering your chart. Can be toggled on/off.
8. INTELLIGENT ALERT SYSTEM
Two-tier alert architecture for flexibility:
Automatic Alerts:
• Fire automatically on BUY and SELL signals
• Include full context: quality score, volume state, volume momentum
• One alert per bar close (alert.freq_once_per_bar_close)
• Message format: "BUY: Supertrend bullish + Quality: 65/70 | Volume: HIGH | Vol Momentum: STRONG (1.35x)"
Customizable Alert Conditions:
• Appear in TradingView's "Create Alert" dialog
• Three options: BUY Signal Only, SELL Signal Only, ANY Signal (BUY or SELL)
• Use TradingView placeholders: {{ticker}}, {{interval}}, {{close}}, {{time}}
• Fully customizable message templates
All alerts use barstate.isconfirmed - Zero repaint guarantee.
9. ANTI-REPAINT ARCHITECTURE
Every component guaranteed non-repainting:
• Entry signals: Only appear after bar close
• duration analysis boxes: Created only on confirmed SuperTrend flips
• Informative labels: Wait for bar confirmation
• Alerts: Fire once per closed bar
• Multi-timeframe data: Uses lookahead=barmerge.lookahead_off
What you see in history is exactly what you would have seen in real-time. No disappearing signals, no changed duration estimates.

• Use 1-2 ATR distance as guideline
• Recommended: SuperTrend level (built-in volatility adjustment)
Short positions:
• Place stop above recent swing high OR
• Place stop above SuperTrend level (whichever is tighter)
• Use 1-2 ATR distance as guideline
• Recommended: SuperTrend level
2. Position Sizing by Quality Score:
• Excellent (60-70): Maximum position size (2% risk per trade)
• Strong (45-59): Standard position size (1.5% risk per trade)
• Good (30-44): Reduced position size (1% risk per trade)
• Weak (Below 30): Pass or micro position (0.5% risk - learning trades only)
3. Exit Strategy Options:
Option A - Statistical Duration-Based Exit:
• Exit at median estimated duration (conservative)
• Exit at average estimated duration (moderate)
• Trail stop beyond average duration (aggressive)
Option B - Signal-Based Exit:
• Exit on opposite signal (SELL after BUY, or vice versa)

ADVANCED FEATURES
1. Scalpel Mode (Optional)
Advanced pullback entry system that waits for healthy retracements within established trends before signaling entry:
• Monitors price distance from SuperTrend levels
• Requires pullback to configurable range (default: 30-50%)
• Ensures trend remains intact before entry signal
• Reduces whipsaw and false breakouts
• Inspired by Mark Minervini's VCP pullback entries
Best for: Swing traders and day traders seeking precision entries
Scalpers: Consider disabling for faster entries
2. Error Learning System (Advanced analysis mode Only)
The system learns from its own estimation errors:
• Tracks last 10-20 completed duration estimates (configurable memory depth)
• Calculates error ratio for each: estimated duration / Actual Duration
• If system consistently over-estimates: Applies negative correction (-15%)
• If system consistently under-estimates: Applies positive correction (+15%)
• Adapts to current market regime automatically
This self-correction mechanism improves accuracy over time as the system gathers more data on your specific symbol and timeframe.
3. Regime Detection (Advanced analysis mode Only)
Automatically detects whether market is in trending or choppy regime:
• Compares last 3 trends to historical average
• Recent trends 20%+ longer → Trending regime (+20% to estimates)
• Recent trends 20%+ shorter → Choppy regime (-20% to estimates)
• Applied separately to bullish and bearish trends
Helps duration estimates adapt to changing market conditions without manual intervention.
4. Exponential Weighting
Option to weight recent trends more heavily than distant history:
• Default decay factor: 0.9
• Recent trends get higher weight in statistical calculations
• Older trends gradually decay in importance
• Rationale: Recent market behavior more relevant than old data
• Can be disabled for equal weighting
5. Backtest Statistics
System backtests its own duration estimates using historical data:
• Walks through past trends chronologically
• Calculates what duration estimate WOULD have been at each flip
• Compares to actual duration that occurred
• Displays accuracy metrics in duration analysis boxes and dashboard
• Helps assess statistical reliability on your specific chart
Note: Backtest uses only data available AT THE TIME of each historical flip (no lookahead bias).

• Optimal: 500+ bars for robust statistical analysis
• Longer history = more accurate duration estimates
• Works on any timeframe from 1 minute to monthly
KNOWN LIMITATIONS
• Trending Markets Only: Performs best in clear trends. May generate false signals in choppy/sideways markets (use quality score filtering and regime detection to mitigate)
• Lagging Nature: Like all trend-following systems, signals occur AFTER trend establishment, not at exact tops/bottoms. Use duration analysis boxes to set realistic profit targets.
• Initial Learning Period: Duration analysis system requires 10-15 completed trends to build reliable historical database. Early duration estimates less accurate (first few weeks on new symbol/timeframe).
• Visual Load: 26-layer gradient ribbon may slow performance on older devices. Disable ribbon if experiencing lag.
• Statistical accuracy Variables: Duration estimates are statistical estimates, not guarantees. Accuracy varies by:
- Market regime (trending vs choppy)
- Asset volatility characteristics
- Quality of historical pattern matches
- Timeframe traded (higher TF = more reliable)
• Not Best Suitable For:
- Ultra-short-term scalping (sub-1-minute charts)
- Mean-reversion strategies (designed for trend-following)
- Range-bound trading (requires trending conditions)
- News-driven spikes (estimates based on technical patterns, not fundamentals)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Does this indicator repaint?
A: Absolutely not. All signals, duration analysis boxes, labels, and alerts use barstate.isconfirmed checks. They only appear after the bar closes. What you see in history is exactly what you would have seen in real-time. Zero repaint guarantee.
Q: How accurate are the trend duration estimates?
A: Accuracy varies by mode, market conditions, and historical data quality:
• Simple mode: 60-70% accuracy (within ±20% of actual duration)
• Standard mode: 70-80% accuracy (within ±20% of actual duration)
• Advanced mode: 75-85% accuracy (within ±20% of actual duration)
Best accuracy achieved on:
• Higher timeframes (4H, Daily, Weekly)
• Trending markets (not choppy/sideways)
• Assets with consistent behavior (Blue Chip, Large Cap)
• After 20+ historical trends analyzed (builds robust database)
Remember: All duration estimates are statistical calculations based on historical patterns, not guarantees.
Q: Which analysis mode should I use?
A:
• Simple: Beginners, clean trending markets, want minimal complexity
• Standard: Most traders, general market conditions (RECOMMENDED DEFAULT)
• Advanced: Experienced traders, volatile/complex markets (biotech, small-cap, crypto), seeking maximum accuracy
Advanced mode requires correct Asset Type configuration for optimal results.
Q: What's the difference between the trading style presets?
A: Each preset optimizes ALL parameters for a specific trading approach:
• Scalping: Ultra-sensitive (ATR 7, Mult 2.0), more signals, shorter holds
• Day Trading: Balanced (ATR 10, Mult 2.5), moderate signals, intraday holds
• Swing Trading: Stable (ATR 14, Mult 3.0), fewer signals, multi-day holds
• Position Trading: Very stable (ATR 21, Mult 4.0), rare signals, week/month holds
Auto mode automatically selects based on your chart timeframe.
Q: Should I use Auto mode or manually select a preset?
A: Auto mode is recommended for most traders. It automatically matches settings to your timeframe and re-optimizes if you switch charts. Only use manual preset selection if:
• You want scalping settings on a 15m chart (overriding auto-detection)
• You want swing settings on a 1h chart (more conservative than auto would give)
• You're testing different approaches on same timeframe
Q: Can I use this for scalping and day trading?
A: Absolutely! The preset system is specifically designed for all trading styles:
• Select "Scalping (1-5m)" for 1-5 minute charts
• Select "Day Trading (15m-1h)" for 15m-1h charts
• Or use "Auto" mode and it configures automatically
Volume momentum filter is auto-disabled in Scalping mode for faster signals.
Q: What is Volume Momentum and why does it matter?
A: Volume Momentum compares short-term volume (fast MA) to long-term volume (slow MA). It answers: "Is money flowing into this asset faster now than historically?"
Why it matters:
• Volume often leads price (early warning system)
• Confirms institutional participation (smart money)
• No lag like price-based indicators
• More intuitive than complex mathematical filters
When the ratio is above 1.2, you have strong evidence that institutions are accumulating (bullish) or distributing (bearish).
Q: How do I set up alerts?
A: Two options:
Option 1 - Automatic Alerts:
1. Right-click on chart → Add Alert
2. Condition: Select this indicator
3. Choose "Any alert() function call"
4. Configure notification method (app, email, webhook)
5. You'll receive detailed alerts on every BUY and SELL signal
Option 2 - Customizable Alert Conditions:
1. Right-click on chart → Add Alert
2. Condition: Select this indicator
3. You'll see three options in dropdown:
- "BUY Signal" (long signals only)
- "SELL Signal" (short signals only)
- "ANY Signal" (both BUY and SELL)
4. Choose desired option and customize message template
5. Uses TradingView placeholders: {{ticker}}, {{close}}, {{time}}, etc.
All alerts fire only on confirmed bar close (no repaint).
Q: What is Scalpel Mode and should I use it?
A: Scalpel Mode waits for healthy pullbacks within established trends before signaling entry. It reduces whipsaws and improves entry timing.
Recommended ON for:
• Swing traders (want precision entries on pullbacks)
• Day traders (willing to wait for better prices)
• Risk-averse traders (prefer fewer but higher-quality entries)
Recommended OFF for:
• Scalpers (need immediate entries, can't wait for pullbacks)
• Momentum traders (want to enter on breakout, not pullback)
• Aggressive traders (prefer more opportunities over precision)
Q: Why do some duration estimates show wider ranges than others?
A: Range width reflects historical trend variability:
• Narrow range: Similar historical trends had consistent durations (high confidence)
• Wide range: Similar historical trends had varying durations (lower confidence)
Wide ranges often occur:
• Early in analysis (fewer historical trends to learn from)
• In volatile/choppy markets (inconsistent trend behavior)
• On lower timeframes (more noise, less consistency)
The median and average still provide useful targets even when range is wide.
Q: Can I customize the dashboard position and appearance?
A: Yes! Dashboard settings include:
• Position: 9 options (Top/Middle/Bottom + Left/Center/Right)
• Text Size: Auto, Tiny, Small, Normal, Large, Huge
• Show/Hide: Toggle entire dashboard on/off
Choose position that doesn't overlap important price action on your specific chart.
Q: Which timeframe should I trade on?
A: Depends on your trading style and time availability:
• 1-5 minute: Active scalping, requires constant monitoring
• 15m-1h: Day trading, check few times per session
• 4h-Daily: Swing trading, check once or twice daily
• Daily-Weekly: Position trading, check weekly
General principle: Higher timeframes produce:
• Fewer signals (less frequent)
• Higher quality setups (stronger confirmations)
• More reliable duration estimates (better statistical data)
• Less noise (clearer trends)
Start with Daily chart if new to trading. Move to lower timeframes as you gain experience.
Q: Does this work on all markets (stocks, crypto, forex)?
A: Yes, it works on all markets with trending characteristics:
Excellent for:
• Stocks (especially growth and momentum names)
• Crypto (BTC, ETH, major altcoins)
• Futures (indices, commodities)
• Forex majors (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, etc.)
Best results on:
• Trending markets (not range-bound)
• Liquid instruments (tight spreads, good fills)
• Volatile assets (clear trend development)
Less effective on:
• Range-bound/sideways markets
• Ultra-low volatility instruments
• Illiquid small-caps (use caution)
Configure Asset Type (in Advanced analysis mode) to match your instrument for best accuracy.
Q: How many signals should I expect per day/week?
A: Highly variable based on:
By Timeframe:
• 1-5 minute: 5-15 signals per session
• 15m-1h: 2-5 signals per day
• 4h-Daily: 2-5 signals per week
• Daily-Weekly: 1-2 signals per month
By Market Volatility:
• High volatility = more SuperTrend flips = more signals
• Low volatility = fewer flips = fewer signals
By Quality Filter:
• Higher threshold (60-70) = fewer but better signals
• Lower threshold (30-40) = more signals, lower quality
By Volume Momentum Filter:
• Enabled = Fewer signals (only volume-confirmed)
• Disabled = More signals (all SuperTrend flips)
Adjust quality threshold and filters to match your desired signal frequency.
Q: What's the difference between entry labels and info labels?
A:
Entry Labels (BUY/SELL):
• Your primary trading signals
• Based on SuperTrend flip + all confirmations (quality, volume, momentum)
• Include quality score and confirmation icons
• These are actionable entry points
Info Labels (Volume Spike):
• Additional market context
• Show volume events that may support or contradict trend
• 8-bar cooldown to prevent spam
• NOT necessarily entry points - contextual information only
Control separately: Can show entry labels without info labels (recommended for clean charts).
Q: Can I combine this with other indicators?
A: Absolutely! This works well with:
• RSI: For divergences and overbought/oversold conditions
• Support/Resistance: Confluence with key levels
• Fibonacci Retracements: Pullback targets in Scalpel Mode
• Price Action Patterns: Flags, pennants, cup-and-handle
• MACD: Additional momentum confirmation
• Bollinger Bands: Volatility context
This indicator provides trend direction and duration estimates - complement with other tools for entry refinement and additional confluence.
Q: Why did I get a low-quality signal? Can I filter them out?
A: Yes! Increase the Minimum Quality Score in settings.
If you're seeing signals with quality below your preference:
• Day Trading: Set minimum to 50
• Swing Trading: Set minimum to 60
• Position Trading: Set minimum to 70
Only signals meeting the threshold will appear. This reduces frequency but improves win-rate.
Q: How do I interpret the MTF Confluence count?
A: Shows how many of 6 timeframes agree with current trend:
• 6/6 aligned: Perfect agreement (extremely rare, highest confidence)
• 5/6 aligned: Very strong alignment (high confidence)
• 4/6 aligned: Good alignment (standard quality setup)
• 3/6 aligned: Moderate alignment (acceptable)
• 2/6 aligned: Weak alignment (caution)
• 1/6 aligned: Very weak (likely counter-trend)
Higher confluence typically correlates with longer, stronger trends. However, MTF analysis is optional - you can disable it and rely solely on quality scoring.
Q: Is this suitable for beginners?
A: Yes, but requires foundational knowledge:
You should understand:
• Basic trend-following concepts (higher highs, higher lows)
• Risk management principles (position sizing, stop losses)
• How to read candlestick charts
• What volume and volatility mean
Beginner-friendly features:
• Auto preset mode (zero configuration)
• Quality scoring (tells you signal strength)
• Dashboard tooltips (hover for explanations)
• duration analysis boxes (visual profit targets)
Recommended for beginners:
1. Start with "Auto" or "Swing Trading" preset on Daily chart
2. Use Standard Analysis Mode (not Advanced)
3. Set minimum quality to 60 (fewer but better signals)
4. Paper trade first for 2-4 weeks
5. Study methodology references (Minervini, O'Neil, Zanger)
Q: What is the Asset Type setting and why does it matter?
A: Asset Type (in Advanced analysis mode) adjusts duration estimates based on volatility characteristics:
• Small Cap: Explosive moves, extended trends (+30-40%)
• Biotech / Speculative: Parabolic potential, news-driven (+40%)
• Blue Chip / Large Cap: Baseline, steady trends (0% adjustment)
• Tech Growth: Momentum-driven, longer trends (+20%)
• Dividend / Value: Slower, grinding trends (-20%)
• Cyclical: Macro-driven, variable (±10%)
• Crypto / High Volatility: Parabolic potential (+30%)
Correct configuration improves Statistical accuracy by 15-20%. Using Blue Chip settings on a biotech stock may underestimate trend length (you'll exit too early).
Q: Can I backtest this indicator?
A: Yes! TradingView's Strategy Tester works with this indicator's signals.
To backtest:
1. Note the entry conditions (SuperTrend flip + quality threshold + filters)
2. Create a strategy script using same logic
3. Run Strategy Tester on historical data
Additionally, the indicator includes BUILT-IN duration estimate validation:
• System backtests its own duration estimates
• Shows accuracy metrics in dashboard and duration analysis boxes
• Helps assess reliability on your specific symbol/timeframe
Q: Why does Volume Momentum auto-disable in Scalping mode?
A: Scalping requires ultra-fast entries to catch quick moves. Volume Momentum filter adds friction by requiring volume confirmation before signaling, which can cause missed opportunities in rapid scalping.
Scalping preset is optimized for speed and frequency - the filter is counterproductive for that style. It remains enabled for Day Trading, Swing Trading, and Position Trading presets where patience improves results.
You can manually enable it in Custom mode if desired.
Q: How much historical data do I need for accurate duration estimates?
A:
Minimum: 50-100 bars (indicator will function but duration estimates less reliable)
Recommended: 500+ bars (robust statistical database)
Optimal: 1000+ bars (maximum Statistical accuracy)
More history = more completed trends = better pattern matching = more accurate duration estimates.
New symbols or newly-switched timeframes will have lower Statistical accuracy initially. Allow 2-4 weeks for the system to build historical database.

Support & Resistance Zone Hunter [BOSWaves]Support & Resistance Zone Hunter - Dynamic Structural Zones with Real-Time Breakout Intelligence
Overview
The Support & Resistance Zone Hunter is a professional-grade structural mapping framework designed to automatically detect high-probability support and resistance areas in real time. Unlike traditional static levels or manually drawn zones, this system leverages pivot detection, range thresholds, and optional volume validation to create dynamic zones that reflect the true structural architecture of the market.
Zones evolve as price interacts with their boundaries. The first touch of a zone determines its bias - bullish, bearish, or neutral - and the system tracks the full lifecycle of each zone from formation, testing, and bias establishment to potential breakout events. Diamond-shaped breakout signals highlight structurally significant price expansions while filtering noise using a configurable cooldown period.
By visualizing market structure in this way, traders gain a deeper understanding of price behavior, trend momentum, and areas where liquidity and reactive forces are concentrated.
Theoretical Foundation
The Support & Resistance Zone Hunter is built on the premise that meaningful structural zones arise from two core principles:
Pivot-Based Turning Points : Only significant highs and lows that represent actual swings in price are considered.
Contextual Validation : Zones must pass minimum range criteria and optional volume thresholds to ensure their relevance.
Markets naturally generate numerous micro-pivots that do not carry predictive significance. By filtering out minor swings and validating zones against volume and range, the system isolates levels that are more likely to attract future price interaction or act as catalysts for breakout moves.
This framework captures not only where price is likely to react but also the direction of potential pressure, providing a statistically grounded, visually intuitive representation of market structure.
How It Works
The Support & Resistance Zone Hunter constructs zones through a multi-layered process that blends pivot logic, range validation, and real-time bias determination:
1. Pivot Detection Core
The indicator identifies pivot highs and pivot lows using a configurable lookback period. Zones are only considered valid when both a top and bottom pivot are present.
2. Zone Qualification Engine
Prospective zones must satisfy two conditions:
Range Threshold : The distance between pivot high and low must exceed the minimum percentage set by the user.
Volume Requirement : If enabled, the current volume must exceed the 50-period moving average.
Only zones meeting these criteria are drawn, reducing noise and emphasizing high-probability structural levels.
3. Zone Lifecycle
Once a valid top and bottom pivot exist:
The zone is created starting from the pivot formation bar.
Zones remain active until both boundaries have been touched by price.
The first boundary touched establishes bias: resistance first → bullish bias ,support first → bearish bias, neither → neutral.
Inactive zones stop expanding but remain visible historically to maintain a clear structural context.
4. Visual Rendering
Active zones are displayed as filled boxes with color corresponding to their bias. Top, bottom, and midpoint lines are drawn for reference. Once a zone becomes inactive, its lines are removed while the filled box remains as a historical footprint.
5. Breakout Detection
Breakout signals occur when price closes above the top boundary or below the bottom boundary of an active zone. The system applies a cooldown period and requires price to return to the zone since the previous breakout to prevent signal spam. Bullish and bearish breakouts are visually represented by diamond-shaped markers with configurable colors.
Interpretation
The Support & Resistance Zone Hunter provides a structural view of market balance:
Bullish Zones : Form when resistance is tested first, indicating upward pressure and potential continuation.
Bearish Zones : Form when support is tested first, reflecting downward pressure and continuation risk.
Neutral Zones : Fresh zones that have not yet been interacted with, representing undiscovered liquidity.
Breakout Diamonds : Highlight significant structural price expansions, helping traders identify confirmed continuation moves while filtering noise.
Zones do not simply indicate past levels; they dynamically reflect the evolving battle between buyers and sellers, providing actionable context for both trend continuation and reversion strategies.
Strategy Integration
The Support & Resistance Zone Hunter is versatile and can be applied across multiple trading approaches:
Trend Continuation : Use bullish and bearish zones to confirm directional bias. Breakout diamonds indicate structural continuation opportunities.
Reversion Entries : Neutral zones often act as magnets in ranging markets, allowing for high-probability mean-reversion setups.
Breakout Trading : Diamonds mark true structural expansions, reducing false breakout risk and guiding stop placement or momentum entries.
Liquidity Zone Alignment : Combining the indicator with order block, breaker, or volume-based tools helps validate zones against broader market participation.
Technical Implementation Details
Pivot Engine : Two-sided pivot detection based on configurable lookback.
Zone Qualification : Minimum range requirement and optional volume filter.
Bias Logic : Determined by the first boundary touched.
Zone Lifecycle : Active until both boundaries are touched, historical visibility retained.
Breakout Signals : Diamond markers with cooldown filtering and price-return validation.
Visuals : Transparent filled zones with live top, bottom, and midpoint lines.
Suggested Optimal Parameters
Pivot Lookback : 10 - 30 for intraday, 20 - 50 for swing trading.
Minimum Range % : 0.5 - 2% for crypto or indices, 1 - 3% for metals or forex.
Volume Filter : Enable for assets with inconsistent liquidity; disable for consistently liquid markets.
Breakout Cooldown : 5 - 20 bars depending on volatility.
These suggested parameters should be used as a baseline; their effectiveness depends on the asset and timeframe, so fine-tuning is expected for optimal performance.
Performance Characteristics
High Effectiveness:
Markets with clear pivot structure and reliable volume.
Trending symbols with consistent retests.
Assets where zones attract repeated price interaction.
Reduced Effectiveness:
Random walk markets lacking structural pivots.
Low-volatility periods with minimal price reaction.
Assets with irregular volume distribution or erratic price action.
Integration Guidelines
Use zone color as contextual bias rather than a standalone signal.
Combine with structural tools, order blocks, or volume-based indicators for confluence.
Validate zones on higher timeframes to refine lower timeframe entries.
Treat breakout diamonds as confirmation of continuation rather than independent triggers.
Disclaimer
The Support & Resistance Zone Hunter provides structural zone mapping and breakout analytics. It does not predict price movement or guarantee profitability. Success requires disciplined risk management, proper parameter calibration, and integration into a comprehensive trading strategy.
Safe Supertrend Strategy (No Repaint)Overview
The Safe Supertrend is a repaint-free version of the popular Supertrend trend-following indicator.
Most Supertrend indicators appear perfect on historical charts because they flip intrabar and then repaint after the candle closes.
This version fixes that by using close-of-bar confirmation only, making every trend flip 100% stable, safe, and non-repainting.
Why This Supertrend Doesn’t Repaint
Most Supertrend indicators calculate their trend direction using the current bar’s data.
But during a live candle:
ATR expands and contracts
The upper/lower bands move
Price moves above/below the band temporarily
A false flip appears → then disappears when the candle closes
That is classic repainting.
This indicator avoids all of that by using:
close > upper
close < lower
This means:
Trend direction flips only based on the previous candle,
No intrabar calculations,
No flickering signals,
No “perfect but fake” historical performance.
Every signal you see on the chart is exactly what was available in real-time.
How It Works
Calculates ATR (Average True Range) and SMA centerline
Builds upper and lower volatility bands
Confirms trend flips only after the previous bar closes
Plots clear bull and bear reversal signals
Works on all markets (crypto, stocks, forex, indices)
No repainting, no recalc, no misleading flips.
Bullish Signal (Trend Up)
A bullish trend begins only when:
The previous candle closes above the upper ATR band,
And this flip is fully confirmed.
A green triangle marks the start of a new uptrend.
Bearish Signal (Trend Down)
A bearish trend begins only when:
The previous candle closes below the lower ATR band,
And the downtrend is confirmed.
A red triangle signals the start of a new downtrend.
Inputs
ATR Length - default 10
ATR Multiplier - default 3.0
Works on all timeframes and market
Simple, but powerful.
Why Use This Version Instead of a Regular Supertrend?
Most Supertrends:
Look great historically
But repaint continuously on live charts
Give false trend flips intrabar
Cannot be reliably used in strategies
This version:
Uses strict previous-bar logic
Never repaints trend direction
Works perfectly in live trading
Backtests accurately
Is ideal for algorithmic strategies
Ideal For:
Trend-following strategies
Breakout trading
Algo trading systems
Reversal detection
Filtering market noise
Swing trading & scalping
Final Note
This is a safer, more reliable Supertrend designed for real-world use — not perfect-looking repaint illusions.
If you use Supertrend in your trading system, this no-repaint version ensures your signals are trustworthy and consistent.

Momentum Tide [Alpha Extract]A sophisticated momentum-based trend identification system that measures normalized price deviation from an EMA baseline using ATR scaling and hyperbolic tangent smoothing for precise trend state classification. Utilizing advanced signal processing with configurable neutral bands and slope sensitivity adjustments, this indicator delivers institutional-grade momentum analysis with continuous strength measurement and visual trend confirmation. The system's three-state classification (bullish, bearish, neutral) combined with dynamic color intensity scaling provides comprehensive market momentum assessment across varying volatility conditions.
🔶 Advanced Baseline Deviation Framework
Implements EMA-based baseline calculation with ATR-normalized deviation measurement to create volatility-adjusted momentum signals. The system calculates raw price deviation from the baseline, scales by ATR and slope sensitivity factor, then applies exponential smoothing for stable signal generation with reduced noise and false transitions.
// Core Momentum Calculation
Baseline = ta.ema(close, Baseline_Length)
ATR_Value = ta.atr(ATR_Length)
Raw_Deviation = (close - Baseline) / (ATR_Value * Slope_Scaler)
Signal = ta.ema(Raw_Deviation, Signal_Smoothing)
🔶 Hyperbolic Tangent Normalization Engine
Features sophisticated tanh transformation that clamps raw deviation signals into normalized -1 to +1 range for consistent interpretation across all market conditions. The system applies safe exponential calculations with value capping to prevent overflow while maintaining signal sensitivity, creating bounded momentum readings suitable for systematic threshold analysis.
// Tanh Normalization
Clamped_Signal = tanh(Signal) // Bounded to
Strength = abs(Clamped_Signal) // Momentum intensity
🔶 Three-State Classification System
Implements intelligent trend state determination using configurable neutral band thresholds to reduce whipsaw signals during ranging conditions. The system classifies market as bullish (+1) when momentum exceeds upper neutral band, bearish (-1) below lower neutral band, and neutral (0) within the band, providing clear directional bias with built-in consolidation recognition.
🔶 Dynamic Color Intensity Architecture
Provides advanced visual feedback through momentum strength-based color intensity modulation, where stronger trends display more opaque colors and weaker trends show increased transparency. The system dynamically adjusts color alpha values based on absolute momentum strength, creating intuitive visual representation of trend conviction across baseline, candles, and bars.
🔶 Trend Strength Meter Visualization
Features innovative horizontal gradient meter displaying real-time momentum position across bear-to-bull spectrum with 24-segment resolution. The system creates smooth color transitions from bearish red through neutral gray to bullish green, with arrow indicator showing precise momentum location for instant trend strength assessment without cluttering the price chart.
🔶 Intelligent Flip Detection System
Generates transition markers when trend state changes from neutral/bearish to bullish or neutral/bullish to bearish, with duplicate signal suppression to prevent marker clustering. The system tracks previous signal states and only plots new markers on genuine trend reversals, providing clean entry signal visualization for systematic trading approaches.
snapshot
🔶 Configurable Neutral Band Framework
Implements adjustable neutral zone width using ATR percentage parameters to optimize signal frequency for different trading styles and market conditions. Wider bands reduce flip frequency for position trading while tighter bands increase sensitivity for active trading strategies, enabling customization without code modification.
🔶 Slope Sensitivity Adjustment
Features slope scaler parameter that modulates ATR normalization factor, controlling signal smoothness versus responsiveness trade-off. Higher values create smoother momentum readings with fewer transitions while lower values increase snappiness for faster reaction to price changes, allowing optimization across different volatility regimes and timeframes.
🔶 Comprehensive Visual Integration
Provides multi-dimensional trend visualization through color-coded baseline overlay, momentum-synchronized candle coloring, and bar color modification with configurable display toggles. The system includes optional flip markers and strength meter with position control for complete chart integration without visual overload.
🔶 Performance Optimization Framework
Utilizes efficient calculation methods with optimized table management for strength meter updates and minimal computational overhead for real-time momentum processing. The system includes intelligent state tracking and safe mathematical operations to prevent errors during extreme market conditions while maintaining consistent performance.
🔶 Why Choose Momentum Tide ?
This indicator delivers sophisticated momentum-based trend analysis through normalized deviation measurement and intelligent three-state classification. Unlike traditional momentum oscillators that operate in separate windows, Momentum Tide integrates directly with price action through baseline overlay and candle coloring while providing the analytical depth of bounded momentum measurement. The system's combination of tanh normalization, configurable neutral bands, dynamic color intensity, and innovative strength meter makes it essential for traders seeking adaptive trend-following approaches with clear visual feedback across cryptocurrency, forex, and equity markets. The three-state system naturally filters ranging periods while the momentum strength measurement enables position sizing and confidence assessment for systematic trading strategies.
Flux-Tensor Singularity [FTS]Flux-Tensor Singularity - Multi-Factor Market Pressure Indicator
The Flux-Tensor Singularity (FTS) is an advanced multi-factor oscillator that combines volume analysis, momentum tracking, and volatility-weighted normalization to identify critical market inflection points. Unlike traditional single-factor indicators, FTS synthesizes price velocity, volume mass, and volatility context into a unified framework that adapts to changing market regimes.
This indicator identifies extreme market conditions (termed "singularities") where multiple confirming factors converge, then uses a sophisticated scoring system to determine directional bias. It is designed for traders seeking high-probability setups with built-in confluence requirements.
THEORETICAL FOUNDATION
The indicator is built on the premise that market time is not constant - different market conditions contain varying levels of information density. A 1-minute bar during a major news event contains far more actionable information than a 1-minute bar during overnight low-volume trading. Traditional indicators treat all bars equally; FTS does not.
The theoretical framework draws conceptual parallels to physics (purely as a mental model, not literal physics):
Volume as Mass: Large volume represents significant market participation and "weight" behind price moves. Just as massive objects have stronger gravitational effects, high-volume moves carry more significance.
Price Change as Velocity: The rate of price movement through price space represents momentum and directional force.
Volatility as Time Dilation: When volatility is high relative to its historical norm, the "information density" of each bar increases. The indicator weights these periods more heavily, similar to how time dilates near massive objects in physics.
This is a pedagogical metaphor to create a coherent mental model - the underlying mathematics are standard financial calculations combined in a novel way.
MATHEMATICAL FRAMEWORK
The indicator calculates a composite singularity value through four distinct steps:
Step 1: Raw Singularity Calculation
S_raw = (ΔP × V) × γ²
Where:
ΔP = Price Velocity = close - close
V = Volume Mass = log(volume + 1)
γ² = Time Dilation Factor = (ATR_local / ATR_global)²
Volume Transformation: Volume is log-transformed because raw volume can have extreme outliers (10x-100x normal). The logarithm compresses these spikes while preserving their significance. This is standard practice in volume analysis.
Volatility Weighting: The ratio of short-term ATR (5 periods) to long-term ATR (user-defined lookback) is squared to create a volatility amplification factor. When local volatility exceeds global volatility, this ratio increases, amplifying the raw singularity value. This makes the indicator regime-aware.
Step 2: Normalization
The raw singularity values are normalized to a 0-100 scale using a stochastic-style calculation:
S_normalized = ((S_raw - S_min) / (S_max - S_min)) × 100
Where S_min and S_max are the lowest and highest raw singularity values over the lookback period.
Step 3: Epsilon Compression
S_compressed = 50 + ((S_normalized - 50) / ε)
This is the critical innovation that makes the sensitivity control functional. By applying compression AFTER normalization, the epsilon parameter actually affects the final output:
ε < 1.0: Expands range (more signals)
ε = 1.0: No change (default)
ε > 1.0: Compresses toward 50 (fewer, higher-quality signals)
For example, with ε = 2.0, a normalized value of 90 becomes 70, making threshold breaches rarer and more significant.
Step 4: Smoothing
S_final = EMA(S_compressed, smoothing_period)
An exponential moving average removes high-frequency noise while preserving trend.
SIGNAL GENERATION LOGIC
When the tensor crosses above the upper threshold (default 90) or below the lower threshold (default 10), an extreme event is detected. However, the indicator does NOT immediately generate a buy or sell signal. Instead, it analyzes market context through a multi-factor scoring system:
Scoring Components:
Price Structure (+1 point): Current bar bullish/bearish
Momentum (+1 point): Price higher/lower than N bars ago
Trend Context (+2 points): Fast EMA above/below slow EMA (weighted heavier)
Acceleration (+1 point): Rate of change increasing/decreasing
Volume Multiplier (×1.5): If volume > average, multiply score
The highest score (bullish vs bearish) determines signal direction. This prevents the common indicator failure mode of "overbought can stay overbought" by requiring directional confirmation.
Signal Conditions:
A BUY signal requires:
Extreme event detection (tensor crosses threshold)
Bullish score > Bearish score
Price confirmation: Bullish candle (optional, user-controlled)
Volume confirmation: Volume > average (optional, user-controlled)
Momentum confirmation: Positive momentum (optional, user-controlled)
A SELL signal requires the inverse conditions.
INPUTS EXPLAINED - Core Parameters:
Global Horizon (Context): Default 20. Lookback period for normalization and volatility comparison. Higher values = smoother but less responsive. Lower values = more signals but potentially more noise.
Tensor Smoothing: Default 3. EMA period applied to final output. Removes "quantum foam" (high-frequency noise). Range 1-20.
Singularity Threshold: Default 90. Values above this (or below 100-threshold) trigger extreme event detection. Higher = rarer, stronger signals.
Signal Sensitivity (Epsilon): Default 1.0. Post-normalization compression factor. This is the key innovation - it actually works because it's applied AFTER normalization. Range 0.1-5.0.
Signal Interpreter Toggles:
Require Price Confirmation: Default ON. Only generates buy signals on bullish candles, sell signals on bearish candles. Reduces false signals but may delay entry.
Require Volume Confirmation: Default ON. Only signals when volume > average. Critical for stocks/crypto, less important for forex (unreliable volume data).
Use Momentum Filter: Default ON. Requires momentum agreement with signal direction. Prevents counter-trend signals.
Momentum Lookback: Default 5. Number of bars for momentum calculation. Shorter = more responsive, longer = trend-following bias.
Visual Controls:
Colors: Customizable colors for bullish flux, bearish flux, background, and event horizon.
Visual Transparency: Default 85. Master control for all visual elements (accretion disk, field lines, particles, etc.). Range 50-99. Signals and dashboard have separate controls.
Visibility Toggles: Individual on/off switches for:
Gravitational field lines (trend EMAs)
Field reversals (trend crossovers)
Accretion disk (background gradient)
Singularity diamonds (neutral extreme events)
Energy particles (volume bursts)
Event horizon flash (extreme event background)
Signal background flash
Signal Size: Tiny/Small/Normal triangle size
Signal Offsets: Separate controls for buy and sell signal vertical positioning (percentage of price)
Dashboard Settings:
Show Dashboard: Toggle on/off
Position: 9 placement options (all corners, centers, middles)
Text Size: Tiny/Small/Normal/Large
Background Transparency: 0-50, separate from visual transparency
VISUAL ELEMENTS EXPLAINED
1. Accretion Disk (Background Gradient):
A three-layer gradient background that intensifies as the tensor approaches extremes. The outer disk appears at any non-neutral reading, the inner disk activates above 70 or below 30, and the core layer appears above 85 or below 15. Color indicates direction (cyan = bullish, red = bearish). This provides instant visual feedback on market pressure intensity.
2. Gravitational Field Lines (EMAs):
Two trend-following EMAs (10 and 30 period) visualized as colored lines. These represent the "curvature" of market trend - when they diverge, trend is strong; when they converge, trend is weakening. Crossovers mark potential trend reversals.
3. Field Reversals (Circles):
Small circles appear when the fast EMA crosses the slow EMA, indicating a potential trend change. These are distinct from extreme events and appear at normal market structure shifts.
4. Singularity Diamonds:
Small diamond shapes appear when the tensor reaches extreme levels (>90 or <10) but doesn't meet the full signal criteria. These are "watch" events - extreme pressure exists but directional confirmation is lacking.
5. Energy Particles (Dots):
Tiny dots appear when volume exceeds 2× average, indicating significant participation. Color matches bar direction. These highlight genuine high-conviction moves versus low-volume drifts.
6. Event Horizon Flash:
A golden background flash appears the instant any extreme threshold is breached, before directional analysis. This alerts you to pay attention.
7. Signal Background Flash:
When a full buy/sell signal is confirmed, the background flashes cyan (buy) or red (sell). This is your primary alert that all conditions are met.
8. Signal Triangles:
The actual buy (▲) and sell (▼) markers. These only appear when ALL selected confirmation criteria are satisfied. Position is offset from bars to avoid overlap with other indicators.
DASHBOARD METRICS EXPLAINED
The dashboard displays real-time calculated values:
Event Density: Current tensor value (0-100). Above 90 or below 10 = critical. Icon changes: 🔥 (extreme high), ❄️ (extreme low), ○ (neutral).
Time Dilation (γ): Current volatility ratio squared. Values >2.0 indicate extreme volatility environments. >1.5 = elevated, >1.0 = above average. Icon: ⚡ (extreme), ⚠ (elevated), ○ (normal).
Mass (Vol): Log-transformed volume value. Compared to volume ratio (current/average). Icon: ● (>2× avg), ◐ (>1× avg), ○ (below avg).
Velocity (ΔP): Raw price change. Direction arrow indicates momentum direction. Shows the actual price delta value.
Bullish Flux: Current bullish context score. Displayed as both a bar chart (visual) and numeric value. Brighter when bullish score dominates.
Bearish Flux: Current bearish context score. Same visualization as bullish flux. These scores compete - the winner determines signal direction.
Field: Trend direction based on EMA relationship. "Repulsive" (uptrend), "Attractive" (downtrend), "Neutral" (ranging). Icon: ⬆⬇↔
State: Current market condition:
🚀 EJECTION: Buy signal active
💥 COLLAPSE: Sell signal active
⚠ CRITICAL: Extreme event, no directional confirmation
● STABLE: Normal market conditions
HOW TO USE THE INDICATOR
1. Wait for Extreme Events:
The indicator is designed to be selective. Don't trade every fluctuation - wait for tensor to reach >90 or <10. This alone is not a signal.
2. Check Context Scores:
Look at the Bullish Flux vs Bearish Flux in the dashboard. If scores are close (within 1-2 points), the market is indecisive - skip the trade.
3. Confirm with Signals:
Only act when a full triangle signal appears (▲ or ▼). This means ALL your selected confirmation criteria have been met.
4. Use with Price Structure:
Combine with support/resistance levels. A buy signal AT support is higher probability than a buy signal in the middle of nowhere.
5. Respect the Dashboard State:
When State shows "CRITICAL" (⚠), it means extreme pressure exists but direction is unclear. These are the most dangerous moments - wait for resolution.
6. Volume Matters:
Energy particles (dots) and the Mass metric tell you if institutions are participating. Signals without volume confirmation are lower probability.
MARKET AND TIMEFRAME RECOMMENDATIONS
Scalping (1m-5m):
Lookback: 10-14
Smoothing: 5-7
Threshold: 85
Epsilon: 0.5-0.7
Note: Expect more noise. Confirm with Level 2 data. Best on highly liquid instruments.
Intraday (15m-1h):
Lookback: 20-30 (default settings work well)
Smoothing: 3-5
Threshold: 90
Epsilon: 1.0
Note: Sweet spot for the indicator. High win rate on liquid stocks, forex majors, and crypto.
Swing Trading (4h-1D):
Lookback: 30-50
Smoothing: 3
Threshold: 90-95
Epsilon: 1.5-2.0
Note: Signals are rare but high conviction. Combine with higher timeframe trend analysis.
Position Trading (1D-1W):
Lookback: 50-100
Smoothing: 5-7
Threshold: 95
Epsilon: 2.0-3.0
Note: Extremely rare signals. Only trade the most extreme events. Expect massive moves.
Market-Specific Settings:
Forex (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, etc.):
Volume data is unreliable (spot forex has no centralized volume)
Disable "Require Volume Confirmation"
Focus on momentum and trend filters
News events create extreme singularities
Best on 15m-1h timeframes
Stocks (High-Volume Equities):
Volume confirmation is CRITICAL - keep it ON
Works excellently on AAPL, TSLA, SPY, etc.
Morning session (9:30-11:00 ET) shows highest event density
Earnings announcements create guaranteed extreme events
Best on 5m-1h for day trading, 1D for swing trading
Crypto (BTC, ETH, major alts):
Reduce threshold to 85 (crypto has constant high volatility)
Volume spikes are THE primary signal - keep volume confirmation ON
Works exceptionally well due to 24/7 trading and high volatility
Epsilon can be reduced to 0.7-0.8 for more signals
Best on 15m-4h timeframes
Commodities (Gold, Oil, etc.):
Gold responds to macro events (Fed announcements, geopolitical events)
Oil responds to supply shocks
Use daily timeframe minimum
Increase lookback to 50+
These are slow-moving markets - be patient
Indices (SPX, NDX, etc.):
Institutional volume matters - keep volume confirmation ON
Opening hour (9:30-10:30 ET) = highest singularity probability
Strong correlation with VIX - high VIX = more extreme events
Best on 15m-1h for day trading
WHAT MAKES THIS INDICATOR UNIQUE
1. Post-Normalization Sensitivity Control:
Unlike most oscillators where sensitivity controls don't actually work (they're applied before normalization, which then rescales everything), FTS applies epsilon compression AFTER normalization. This means the sensitivity parameter genuinely affects signal frequency. This is a novel implementation not found in standard oscillators.
2. Multi-Factor Confluence Requirement:
The indicator doesn't just detect "overbought" or "oversold" - it detects extreme conditions AND THEN analyzes context through five separate factors (price structure, momentum, trend, acceleration, volume). Most indicators are single-factor; FTS requires confluence.
3. Volatility-Weighted Normalization:
By squaring the ATR ratio (local/global), the indicator adapts to changing market regimes. A 1% move in a low-volatility environment is treated differently than a 1% move in a high-volatility environment. Traditional indicators treat all moves equally regardless of context.
4. Volume Integration at the Core:
Volume isn't an afterthought or optional filter - it's baked into the fundamental equation as "mass." The log transformation handles outliers elegantly while preserving significance. Most price-based indicators completely ignore volume.
5. Adaptive Scoring System:
Rather than fixed buy/sell rules ("RSI >70 = sell"), FTS uses competitive scoring where bullish and bearish evidence compete. The winner determines direction. This solves the classic problem of "overbought markets can stay overbought during strong uptrends."
6. Comprehensive Visual Feedback:
The multi-layer visualization system (accretion disk, field lines, particles, flashes) provides instant intuitive feedback on market state without requiring dashboard reading. You can see pressure building before extreme thresholds are hit.
7. Separate Extreme Detection and Signal Generation:
"Singularity diamonds" show extreme events that don't meet full criteria, while "signal triangles" only appear when ALL conditions are met. This distinction helps traders understand when pressure exists versus when it's actionable.
COMPARISON TO EXISTING INDICATORS
vs. RSI/Stochastic:
These normalize price relative to recent range. FTS normalizes (price change × log volume × volatility ratio) - a composite metric, not just price position.
vs. Chaikin Money Flow:
CMF combines price and volume but lacks volatility context and doesn't use adaptive normalization or post-normalization compression.
vs. Bollinger Bands + Volume:
Bollinger Bands show volatility but don't integrate volume or create a unified oscillator. They're separate components, not synthesized.
vs. MACD:
MACD is pure momentum. FTS combines momentum with volume weighting and volatility context, plus provides a normalized 0-100 scale.
The specific combination of log-volume weighting, squared volatility amplification, post-normalization epsilon compression, and multi-factor directional scoring is unique to this indicator.
LIMITATIONS AND PROPER DISCLOSURE
Not a Holy Grail:
No indicator is perfect. This tool identifies high-probability setups but cannot predict the future. Losses will occur. Use proper risk management.
Requires Confirmation:
Best used in conjunction with price action analysis, support/resistance levels, and higher timeframe trend. Don't trade signals blindly.
Volume Data Dependency:
On forex (spot) and some low-volume instruments, volume data is unreliable or tick-volume only. Disable volume confirmation in these cases.
Lagging Components:
The EMA smoothing and trend filters are inherently lagging. In extremely fast moves, signals may appear after the initial thrust.
Extreme Event Rarity:
With conservative settings (high threshold, high epsilon), signals can be rare. This is by design - quality over quantity. If you need more frequent signals, reduce threshold to 85 and epsilon to 0.7.
Not Financial Advice:
This indicator is an analytical tool. All trading decisions and their consequences are solely your responsibility. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
BEST PRACTICES
Don't trade every singularity - wait for context confirmation
Higher timeframes = higher reliability
Combine with support/resistance for entry refinement
Volume confirmation is CRITICAL for stocks/crypto (toggle off only for forex)
During major news events, singularities are inevitable but direction may be uncertain - use wider stops
When bullish and bearish flux scores are close, skip the trade
Test settings on your specific instrument/timeframe before live trading
Use the dashboard actively - it contains critical diagnostic information

Dresteghamat:Adaptive Multi-TF Decision Engine**Dresteghamat: Adaptive Multi-Timeframe Decision Engine**
This open-source indicator is an algorithmic decision-support system designed to filter market noise by quantifying three core market dimensions: **Regime**, **Direction**, and **Exhaustion**.
**⚠️ Technical Note on Originality:**
This script solves the "Timeframe Irrelevance" problem found in standard dashboards. Instead of using static HTF references, it implements a custom **"Adaptive Context Engine"** (see lines 245-270 in source code). It calculates the user's current `timeframe.multiplier` and dynamically maps the mathematically relevant Higher Timeframes.
* *Innovation:* A 5m chart automatically weights 15m/1H structure, whereas a 1H chart weights 4H/Daily structure. This dynamic logic is proprietary and ensures contextual accuracy.
---
### 🛠️ Logic & Calculation Methodology
The script does not simply overlay indicators. It processes raw market data through a **Weighted Scoring Engine** (lines 275-285) to output a unified market state.
**1. Regime Identification (Volatility Normalized)**
We calculate a custom "Volatility Ratio" to distinguish Trend vs. Range regimes.
* **Logic:** `Range / Smoothed_ATR`.
* **Function:** If Ratio > 2.0, the market is in Expansion (Trend). If < 1.2, it is in Compression (Range). This normalizes volatility across assets (Crypto/Forex/Stocks).
**2. Directional Bias (Composite Metric)**
Direction is calculated via a voting system of three sub-components (lines 80-130):
* **Structural Pivots:** Detects Swing Highs/Lows using a 25-bar lookback to define market structure.
* **Cumulative Body Delta:** Tracks the net buying/selling pressure within candle bodies.
* **Micro-Flow:** A short-term (5-bar) momentum filter to detect immediate order flow shifts.
**3. Exhaustion Model (Risk Management)**
The script prevents late entries by calculating an "Exhaustion Score" (lines 150-200). It aggregates:
* **VRSD (Volatility Regime Shift):** Detects when volatility expands > 2 standard deviations (Mean Reversion risk).
* **Volume Decay (VEFF):** Identifies Divergence where price makes new highs on declining Volume MA.
* **RSI/Impulse Divergence:** Standard momentum divergence logic.
**4. The Decision Output (MODE)**
The dashboard renders a final signal based on a hierarchical algorithm:
* **BUY/SELL ONLY:** Triggered when Current Momentum aligns with the Dynamically Selected HTF Structure AND the Exhaustion Score is low.
* **PULLBACK:** Triggered when HTF Structure is bullish, but Current Momentum is bearish (indicating a corrective phase).
* **HTF EXHAUST:** Overrides signals when the Higher Timeframe metrics hit extreme levels.
* **WAIT:** Default state during Range Regimes or conflicting signals.
---
### 📊 Usage Guide
1. Apply to chart (Auto-adapts to any timeframe).
2. **Status Column:** Shows the raw health of the trend (Strong/Weakening/Exhausted).
3. **MODE Column:** Displays the final actionable bias based on the scoring algorithm.
**Disclaimer:** This tool provides statistical analysis based on historical data. It does not guarantee future results.
Advanced Triple Strategy ScalperHere are the three scalping strategies presented in the video "3 Scalping Strategies That Work Every Day (Backtested & Proven)" by Asia Forex Mentor – Ezekiel Chew:
### Scalper’s Trend Filter (Triple EMA)
This strategy uses three EMAs (25, 50, 100) on the 5-minute chart to filter high-probability trades aligned with momentum .
- Only trade when all three EMAs are angled in the same direction and clearly separated (no crossing or tangling) .
- Enter when price pulls back toward the 25 or 50 EMA and then bounces back toward the 25 EMA, but do not enter if price closes below the 100 EMA .
- Set stop-loss just below the 50 EMA or swing low and aim for a risk-to-reward ratio of 1:1.5 .
### Flip Zone Trap (Reversal Catching)
This method identifies precise reversal moments where market structure shifts from weakness to strength .
- Use the 15-min chart to locate key support or resistance zones where price previously reacted .
- Wait for price to stop making lower lows and begin making higher highs (or vice versa for shorts); confirm with a trendline break AND follow-through (higher lows & highs within 5-7 candles) .
- Use confirmation candles (bullish engulfing, pin bar rejection) at the zone before entry .
### Liquidity Shift Trigger (Smart Money Trap)
This system leverages institutional stop hunts and liquidity sweeps at key zones for sniper entries .
- Start with a 15-min chart to identify structure breaks and points of interest (order blocks, flip zones, demand zones) .
- Drop to 1-min chart and wait for price to enter the refined zone and sweep liquidity (sharp wick/spike below/above key level) .
- Once liquidity is swept, wait for a clean structure shift (break of most recent internal high or low) within 5–6 candles—if confirmed, refine entry to the candle that caused the break and enter when price returns to that candle with a strong reaction .
***
### Practical Application
- These strategies are systematic, rule-based, and designed to cut out fake moves, avoid early stop-outs, and align entries with momentum and institutional activity .
- Perfect for short timeframes and volatile pairs like XAUUSD, especially if paired with additional confirmation from other technical analysis tools .
All three strategies emphasize filtering noise, waiting for momentum/trend confirmation, and avoiding impulsive entries—key principles for consistent scalping success

Smart Cloud by Ilker (Custom Matriks)A Proprietary Hybrid Trend System for All Major Financial Assets
This indicator, originally developed for the Matriks platform, is a highly effective hybrid trend identification system designed for day-to-day analysis across all major asset classes, including Stocks, Forex, Indices, and Cryptocurrencies. It combines the forward-looking principle of the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo Cloud with heavily smoothed Moving Averages (MAs) to create a clear, visually guided trading signal. (Daily Timeframe recommended for optimal results).
📊 Algorithmic Structure and Parameters
The "Smart Cloud" utilizes six primary user-adjustable parameters that govern its sensitivity and shape, moving away from standard Ichimoku settings to provide a robust, customized trend view:
P1, P2, P3 (60, 56, 248): These long-term settings define the core structure and width of the cloud, acting as the primary dynamic support and resistance zone. The significantly longer P3 (Lagging Period) ensures the cloud reflects strong, deep market cycles.
P4 (Displacement 26): Maintains the traditional Ichimoku principle of projecting the cloud 26 periods forward to provide a predictive view of future trend support/resistance.
P5 (MA50 - Blue) & P6 (MA10 - Purple): These are the two primary Moving Averages plotted inside the cloud. They serve as fast-response momentum lines:
P5 (MA50): Represents the middle-term trend average.
P6 (MA10): Represents the short-term market momentum.
📈 Core Trend and Signal Interpretation
The indicator provides powerful trend identification based on three key components:
The Cloud (Kumo):
Green Cloud (Bullish): Indicates the dominant trend is up, suggesting dynamic support for price action.
Red Cloud (Bearish): Indicates the dominant trend is down, suggesting dynamic resistance.
The thickness and slope of the cloud are key indicators of trend strength.
MA Crossover Signal (Blue/Purple):
Buy Signal: When the faster Purple MA (P6=10) crosses above the slower Blue MA (P5=50).
Sell Signal: When the faster Purple MA (P6=10) crosses below the slower Blue MA (P5=50).
Price Action & Confirmation:
The most powerful signals occur when a MA Crossover is confirmed by price breaking out of the cloud in the same direction.
Price above the cloud and MA crossover to the upside suggests a strong buy entry.

Liquidity ThermometerThis is a universal indicator that assesses market liquidity based on five key market parameters: volume, volatility, candlestick range, body size, and price momentum.
The indicator does not use open interest data and is suitable for all markets, including spot, futures, and Forex.
This indicator normalizes each metric historically and creates a composite index between 0 and 1, where higher values correspond to a stable and calm market environment, and lower values indicate periods of increased risk and potential liquidity stress.
LT generates an integral liquidity index in the range based on five normalized components:
-nVol — normalized volume, reflecting trading density and activity.
-nATR — the volatility component (ATR), inverted, as high volatility is typically associated with declining liquidity.
-nRange — the normalized candlestick range, also inverted to assess the structural narrowness of the price movement.
-nBody — the normalized candlestick body size (|close − open|), inverted to assess the balance of supply and demand.
-nMove — the normalized value of the price impulse movement (|Δclose|), reflecting short-term price spikes.
Each metric is linearly normalized over a sliding window (200 bars) using the formula:
norm(x) = (x − min) / (max − min),
where at max = min, the value is fixed at 0.5 to ensure stability.
The ALT index is calculated as a weighted combination:
ALT = 0.35 nVol + 0.20 (1 − nATR) + 0.20 (1 − nRange) + 0.15 (1 − nBody) + 0.10 (1 − nMove)
The result is further smoothed using EMA(3) to reduce micronoise.
Red Zone (MLI < 0.25) — Risk, Thin Liquidity
When the indicator falls into the red zone, it means the market is extremely volatile:
Characteristics:
Low volume — small trades have a strong impact on the price.
High volatility — candlesticks rise or fall sharply.
Wide candlestick range — the market is "breathing heavily," easily breaking price extremes.
Impulsive movements — small market shocks lead to sharp spikes.
Thin liquidity — few orders in the order book, large orders "eat up" the market.
What this means for a trader:
🔥 High risk of spikes and false breakouts.
⚠ Possible series of liquidations on leverage.
❌ It is not recommended to enter long or short positions without a filter or protection.
✅ Can be used for short scalping strategies if you know the entry point, but very carefully.
Green Zone (MLI > 0.75) — High Liquidity, Safe Zone
When the indicator rises into the green zone, it means the market is stable and balanced:
Characteristics:
High volume — the market is deep, orders are executed without a strong impact on the price.
Low volatility — candlesticks are stable, no sharp spikes.
Narrow candlestick range — price moves calmly.
Weak impulse movements — no sharp surges.
Sufficient liquidity — the market can handle large orders.
What this means for a trader:
✅ Safe zone for opening positions.
🔄 Easier to set stop-loss and take-profit orders.
💡 You can trade both up and down, the risk of sharp movements is minimal.
⚡ Under these conditions, there is a lower risk of spikes and accidental liquidations.
It does not predict price movements or guarantee results. It is an analytical tool intended for additional research into market structure.

Trading Sessions [QuantAlgo]🟢 Overview
The Trading Sessions indicator tracks and displays the four major global trading sessions: Sydney, Tokyo, London, and New York. It provides session-based background highlighting, real-time price change tracking from session open, and a data table with session status. The script works across all markets (forex, equities, commodities, crypto) and helps traders identify when specific geographic markets are active, which directly correlates with changes in liquidity and volatility patterns. Default session times are set to major financial center hours in UTC but are fully adjustable to match your trading methodology.
🟢 Key Features
→ Session Background Color Coding
Each trading session gets a distinct background color on your chart:
1. Sydney Session - Default orange, 22:00-07:00 UTC
2. Tokyo Session - Default red, 00:00-09:00 UTC
3. London Session - Default green, 08:00-16:00 UTC
4. New York Session - Default blue, 13:00-22:00 UTC
When sessions overlap, the color priority is New York > London > Tokyo > Sydney. This means if London and New York are both active, the background shows New York's color. The priority matches typical liquidity and volatility patterns where later sessions generally show higher volume.
→ Color Customization
All session colors are configurable in the Color Settings panel:
1. Click any session color input to open the color picker
2. Select your preferred color for that session
3. Use the "Background Transparency" slider (0-100) to adjust opacity. Lower values = more visible, higher values = more subtle
4. Enable "Color Price Bars" to color candlesticks themselves according to the active session instead of just the background
The Color column in the info table shows a block (█) in each session's assigned color, matching what you see on the chart background.
→ Information Table Breakdown
→ Timeframe Warning
If you're viewing a timeframe of 12 hours or higher, a red warning label appears center-screen. Session boundaries don't render accurately on high timeframes because the time() function in Pine Script can't detect intra-bar session changes when each bar spans multiple sessions. The warning tells you to switch to sub-12H timeframes (e.g., 4H, 1H, 30m, 15m, etc.) for proper session detection. You can disable this warning in Color Settings if needed, but session highlighting can be unreliable on 12H+ charts regardless.
→ Time Range Configuration
Every session's time range is editable in Session Settings:
1. Click the time input field next to each session
2. Enter time as HHMM-HHMM in 24-hour format
3. All times are interpreted as UTC
4. Modify these to account for daylight saving shifts or to define custom session periods based on your backtested optimal trading windows
For example, if your strategy performs best during London/NY overlap specifically, you could set London to 08:00-17:00 and New York to 13:00-22:00 to ensure you see the full overlap highlighted.
→ Weekdays Filter
The "Weekdays Only (Mon-Fri)" toggle controls whether sessions display on weekends:
Enabled: Sessions only show Monday-Friday and hide on Saturday-Sunday. Use this for markets that close on weekends (most equities, forex).
Disabled: Sessions display 24/7 including weekends. Use this for markets that trade continuously (crypto).
→ Table Display Options
The info table has several configuration options in Table Settings:
Visibility: Toggle "Show Info Table" on/off to display or hide the entire table.
Position: Nine position options (Top/Middle/Bottom + Left/Center/Right) let you place the table wherever it doesn't block your price action or other indicators.
Text Size: Four size options (Tiny, Small, Normal, Large) to match your screen resolution and visual preferences.
→ Color Schemes:
Mono: Black background, gray header, white text
Light: White background, light gray header, black text
Blue: Dark blue background, medium blue header, white text
Custom: Manual selection of all five color components (table background, header background, header text, data text, borders)
→ Alert Functionality
The indicator includes ten alert conditions you can access via TradingView's alert system:
Session Opens:
1. Sydney Session Started
2. Tokyo Session Started
3. London Session Started
4. New York Session Started
5. Any Session Started
Session Closes:
6. Sydney Session Ended
7. Tokyo Session Ended
8. London Session Ended
9. New York Session Ended
10. Any Session Ended
These alerts fire when sessions transition based on your configured time ranges, letting you automate monitoring of session changes without watching the chart continuously. Useful for strategies that trade specific session opens/closes or need to adjust position sizing when volatility regime shifts between sessions.
Buyers in Control █ OVERVIEW
The "Buyers in Control" indicator identifies periods when buying pressure dominates the market by combining three key technical factors:
✓ Price Momentum - Price trading above exponential moving average
✓ Volume Confirmation - Current volume exceeding average (strong participation)
✓ RSI Strength - Momentum indicator confirming bullish bias
When all three conditions align, the indicator signals that buyers are in control of the market.
█ HOW IT WORKS
The indicator evaluates three independent conditions:
1. PRICE POSITION: Close > EMA(21)
→ Confirms price is in an uptrend
2. VOLUME SURGE: Volume > SMA(20) × 1.2
→ Validates that the move has genuine buying interest
3. MOMENTUM: RSI(14) > 50
→ Ensures bullish momentum is present
Only when ALL three conditions are true does the indicator confirm buyer control.
█ KEY FEATURES
• Real-time Dashboard - Shows status of each condition (✓/✗)
• Visual Alerts - Green background + labels when buyers take control
• EMA Reference Line - Visual trend indicator
• Customizable Parameters - Adjust sensitivity for any market/timeframe
