Swing High and Swing Low as discussed in Bounce Theory
A Swing Low is the low of the candle that has a higher low on either side. A Swing High is the high of the candle that has a lower high on either side.
In the case of Swing High, the high of the neighbour candles are lower than the high of the main candle itself.
In the case of Swing Low, the low of the...
This is based on two model : the first is the zigzag model of Ricardo Santos
the second is a pivot system for high and low to find resistance made by jaggedsoft
I try to show the connection between them and to form a cross of when the zigzag model crossing the pivot model
this is seen in show sig
best approach is to find the low based on the pivot system and...
Works best on BTC and only on the daily timeframe!
This is a TOP / BOTTOM indicator for big market cycles.
These tops and bottoms are based on the difference between the 200MA on the daily and the price.
Fibonacci pivot point levels
multiply the previous day’s range with its corresponding Fibonacci level.
Tradingview Standard Pivot Template includes S/R Levels 1 – 3 only .
I take into account additional Fibonacci pivot levels (S/R 4 – 7) on daily basis (no need for higher timeframes - weekly, monthly).
Pivot reversal strategy almost always works pretty good for crypto.
Here is setup with 4 left, 4 right bars for pivot points for XBTUSD 1h chart.
It shows a pretty nice performance of 350% with only 10% dd, Sharpe is 1.16.
If you're interested in using this strategy in my scripts you can find alerts for it and a version with added backtesting range.
This is a dynamic structure indicator designed to map potential support and resistance zones (in all markets). It does this by looking back x amount of candles to identify major swing highs and lows on the specified reference timeframe, and then it draws a zone between the highest/lowest wick and the highest/lowest candle close across the chart until a new zone is...
Kawabunga Swing Failure Points Candles (SFP) by RagingRocketBull 2019
This indicator shows Swing Failure Points (SFP) and Swing Confirmation Points (SCP) as candles on a chart.
SFP/SCP candles are used by traders as signals for trend confirmation/possible reversal.
The signal is stronger on a higher volume/larger candle size.
A Swing Failure Point...
Fixed the previous version which, when TradingView updated, resulted in an error.
A mid-line could be plotted with (hpivot+lpivot)/2
*Oops plotted some gann fans with the script, the script you are looking at is the faint lines in the background
My most useful indicator yet. This is a combo 9/27 zero lag EMA/EMA with a trailing 3/9 and close/9 indicator with dynamic pivots and levels and a 9-candle-count candle painter. Clearly identifies possible entry and exits as well as points of decision identifying possible partial buy/sell points.
™TradeChartist Fib Extensions is a free to use script that helps traders plot Fibonacci Extensions on chart. Even though Trading View has a Fib extensions tool, some traders may prefer a plotting script like this with Fib plot lines extending across the whole of the chart to track historic prices in relation to Fib extensions drawn.
----To draw Fib extensions for...
Primarily for equities as no provision has been made to control the timing at which the open close high low are determined, indeed, I see no straightforward mechanism to do so in Pinescript.
Development aided by: , but with the entirely different calculations presented in "Secrets of a Pivot Boss" by Franklin Ochoa. And...
Historically matched market tops for BTC.
It's the Average Cap (see my other indicator) multiplied by 35.
The default settings are for BTC.
If you want to test this indicator on another chart you have to change the launch date settings (and maybe play around with the multiplier).
Some Interesting Launch dates:
- BTC: 3 JAN 2009
- ETH: 30. JUL 2015
- LTC: 7. OCT 2011
This is my code for something Trading View already gives us -- Pivot Points.
It's not really an indicator in itself, although when weekly highs or lows are broken it seems to be a big deal. I wrote this so I'd have something to play with.
Here’s one way to access previous values:
valuewhen(change(high_series) != 0, high_series, 1)
Created a script for alerts on Traditional Pivot Points.
You will be able to create separate alerts for every level or create one for price crossing any level.
Because of some TradingView limitations, alerts won't be fired for the first bar of the session. Will try to solve that in the new versions.
In the script used new v4 plotting features, so will be able...
I have a thing for pivots and SR, so this is Tom DeMark Daily Retracements Levels pivots from DeMark Indicators book by Jason Perl.
Red lines -daily R
Green lines - daily S
Expect reversals or breaks at these points.
