TemaI have found that such simple crossover can show good results. Basically it has only 2 TEMA and nothing more. I don't know what else to write here. The code is simplest and has only one filter, which take into consideration the direction of chart.
Donchian Channels Trending Breakout StrategyThis script looks for two entry signals. Long is when the previous breakout of the donchian channels was a low, price is above the input EMA, current price is equal or higher than the upper band and we're not in a position yet. Short is the other way around, so previous breakout of the donchian channels was a high, price is below the input EMA, current price is equal or lower than the lower band.
I haven't found a script that does take the previous highs and lows into consideration. Works for any markets in any conditions because the stop loss and profit targets are based on the upper and lower band of the donchian channels, which means the stop loss and profit targets move with the trend.
For more details see the script itself, I wrote a ton of comments.
Follow the Trend with Fib support LevelsThis is trend following strategy. Which takes entries on the pullbacks when long term trend is up.
It allows you to enter / add on pullback of Fib 0.618 of prebious N number of candles. I have defaulted this to 9.
BUY
====
1. Long term trend is UP i.e ema 50 is above ema 200
2. wait for Fib0.618 pulls back to trend zone (orange line )
3. when the close cross above Fib0.618 line , Enter BUY or ADD to existing position
Exit
====
1. Wait for Fib0.618 come out of Trend zone
2. close partial , when price cross down below Fib0.236
Stop Loss
========
1. Stop Loss set as Trailing Stop Loss , defaulted to 5%
you can also use ATR as trailing stop loss.
I have tested with SPY , QQQ and AAPL on hourly chart

Simple Moving Average CrossoverThis strategy uses two moving averages of 21 and 8 to generate buy or sell signal.
This is for purely intraday trades and best use in 15 min time frame
This strategy uses angle/slope of ma to filter out period of sideways movement and only generate signals when the stock starts trending in one direction
How to use this
1) Buy when the buy is generated
2) Sell when the sell is generated
Properties you can tweak to adjust this strategy to your needs are
1) angle -> Adjust this properties to define how much slope would be considered to generate the signals, higher the values lesser the trades generated.
2) atr period-> this is to adjust the atr period
3) ma source -> close is considered as source , you can use open or high or low
Dankland Playground DCAing multi-strategy OPThis is essentially a script that I made for myself before deciding it may be good enough for you all as well.
How it works basically is this... you have 18 oscillators which can all be used as independently as you wish. That means there are 20 groups which they can be split amongst as you choose.
When in separate groups they should not be able to sell eachothers positions without triggering a stop loss. Every single oscillator has its own position sizing and exit sizing which can be stated as either a percent of balance or a flat amount of contracts. Each oscillator has a minimum amount of profit you can tell it to sell it, which is calculated from the average cost of your current position, which does include all groups. This works out to help you average out better entry and exit prices, essentially a method of DCAing.
You can set the minimum sale amount, which is to keep it from placing orders below your exchanges minimum dollar trade cost.
The included oscillators are as follows:
Chande Momentum cross
Moving Average Cross
MACD cross
%B Bollinger cross
Stochastic cross + region filter
Stochastic RSI cross + region filter
SMII cross and region
Three RMIs
Standard RSI
LSMA-smoothed RSI
Know Sure Thing
RSI of KST
Coppock Curve
RSI of Curve
PPO
RSI of PPO
Trix
RSI of Trix
So the idea is that this is essentially multiple strategies combined into one backtestable house. Balance is calculated for all position sizes in order to try to prevent false entries that plague so many scripts (IE, you set pyramiding to 2, each buy $1000, initial balance $1000, and yet it buys two orders off the bat for $2000 total and nets 400% profit because the second was considered free)/
You tune each side and position size them so that they work together as well as you can and in doing so you are able to create a single backtest that is capable of running a bot, essentially, between multiple strategies - you can run a slower Moving Average cross, a faster SMI cross or MACD, or Bollinger that grabs big moves only, all the while having MACD trade small bonuses along the way. This way you can weight the Risk to Reward of each against eachother.
I will not try to claim this is something you can open and with no work have the best bot on the planet. This scripts intention is to take a lot of relatively common trading strategies and combine them under on roof with some risk management and the ability to weigh each against eachother.
If you are looking for a super advanced singular algorithm that tries to capture every peak and valley exactly on the dot, this is not for you. If you are looking for a tool with a high level of customizability, with a publisher who intends to update it to the best of his ability in accordance to seeking to make the best product that I personally can make for both myself and the community (because I will be using this myself of course!) that was specifically designed with the intention of performing well in spot markets by averaging low entry costs and high exit costs, this is for you! That is the exact intention here.
I do not trade margin currently, I trade spot. I am sure this script can be tuned to work on margin but this is not my intention or area so if this is you and there is something you need for margin specifically implemented, ask, because I likely don't know what you need yet.
The current backtest shown is hand-optimized by myself for BTC/USD 1hr market with NO stop loss enabled and all sales weighed to be around 0% minimum profit from the total average entry cost.
I chose to run it myself with no stop losses because Bitcoin is so bullish to me. The stop losses can still be very profitable, but not 1495% net profit. This style of automation is not for everyone as when running with no stop loss and the requirement every sale is somewhat profitable, or at least no very noticeable loss, you wind up relying on yourself to manually stop out if things crash too much and the bot has to stop trading to wait for market to go back up. The thing to do here if you are playing without a stop loss is to have your own alerts set at your fear level, a % drop in a period of time or something like that, and when you reach that point I would consider resetting the bot so it continues to take trades. I personally will accept a temporary drop in USD as long as I can keep my BTC holdings up overall as the goal should always be to have as many BTC as possible by the start and end of the bull run.

Combo Backtest 123 Reversal & Moving Average Envelopes This is combo strategies for get a cumulative signal.
First strategy
This System was created from the Book "How I Tripled My Money In The
Futures Market" by Ulf Jensen, Page 183. This is reverse type of strategies.
The strategy buys at market, if close price is higher than the previous close
during 2 days and the meaning of 9-days Stochastic Slow Oscillator is lower than 50.
The strategy sells at market, if close price is lower than the previous close price
during 2 days and the meaning of 9-days Stochastic Fast Oscillator is higher than 50.
Second strategy
Moving Average Envelopes are percentage-based envelopes set above and
below a moving average. The moving average, which forms the base for
this indicator, can be a simple or exponential moving average. Each
envelope is then set the same percentage above or below the moving average.
This creates parallel bands that follow price action. With a moving average
as the base, Moving Average Envelopes can be used as a trend following indicator.
However, this indicator is not limited to just trend following. The envelopes
can also be used to identify overbought and oversold levels when the trend is
relatively flat.

MACD Crossover trend strategy, Long and ShortHey everybody,
This is my first strategy and script I wrote mostly myself. There's tons of content out there to learn how to code in Pinescript and it's exactly what I wanted and needed in this time of my life.
In any case, I made a rather simple MACD crossover strategy that only takes trades in the direction of both EMA and SMA (there are inputs to change the length of the moving averages and lots of other stuff too).
If the MACD line crosses upwards on the signal line, while above the zero point of the histogram and the price is above EMA + SMA , it's a long signal.
If the MACD line cosses downards on the signal line, while below zero on the histogram and the price is below EMA + SMA , it's a short signal.
There are a lot of default variables that make no sense, for basically any symbol you're going to be looking at. You're going to have to adjust the EMA , SMA , backtest date, take profit, stop loss and all that good stuff yourself to find decently profitable parameters.
I made this myself because I couldn't really find a strategy out there that allowed for so much customizing and it's an easy way to get started in Pinescript.
If you have any suggestions, tips or you see a flatout mistake in my code, please let me know. I'm still learning, everyday and I'm enjoying every second of it.
Heatmap - Multi-Timeframe Indicators - StrategyHeatmap - Multi-Timeframe Indicators - Strategy
▪ Main features :
- 19 Timeframes: 1m, 3m, 5m, 10m, 15m, 30m, 45m, 1h, 2h, 3h, 4h, 5h, 6h, 8h, 10h, 12h, 1D, 1W, 1M
- 6 indicators per timeframe
- choose specific timeframes for indicators (example - 1 hour)
- or choose specific timeframe ranges (example - 1 hour to 1 month)
The general idea is that the higher timeframe signals are stronger than the lower timeframe ones.
When a trend is starting, it is first visible on the lower timeframes.
The more time passes, the more the trend propagates through higher timeframes.
The default settings are meant to show all the available features. You may fine-tune it to your specific needs.
How to choose the timeframe for the chart : use the lowest of the choosen timeframes for indicators.
If the heatmap doesn't display correctly on your device, you may check the Heatmap Theme 🎨 setting.
It doesn't repaint.
"Repaint" version available though - good to check the past history, but very bad for real-time analysis.
▪ Indicators used for trend detection
1. MACD Cross
2. Stochastic Cross
3. Stochastic Cross and Overbought or Oversold
4. Moving Average
5. Parabolic SAR
6. Heikin Ashi
▪ Find the best Heatmap settings with the Strategy Tester version.
The signals generated by the Heatmap are considered to be valid at the bar open .
The Strategy Tester, however, uses the bar close in its calculations.
Therefore, the results may seem to be worse than they can be.
The Profitability, Profit Factor and other stats should be taken into consideration relatively to other configurations of the same Heatmap.
▪ Using a score system to consider a change in trend valid.
Example: consider the signal valid if 65% or more of all indicators (max 6) among all timeframes (max 19) hint at a change in trend.
The % percent value can be inserted in settings.
When using the default settings or when all timeframes and indicators are activated,
the ratio of 100% downtrend or 100% uptrend may be less occuring. Adjust accordingly.
The signals across timeframes and indicators are aggregated to show simple entry and exit signals.
▪ Combined Alerts, to be set to fire once per bar open :
0 - 📈 Long! - Heatmap - Multi-TFI
0 - 📈 Short! - Heatmap - Multi-TFI
0 - 📈 Long Exit! - Heatmap - Multi-TFI
0 - 📈 Short Exit! - Heatmap - Multi-TFI
1 *** BUY or SELL (single alert) ***
1 *** Entries or Exits (single alert) ***
▪ Note : The initial load may be slow. If something doesn't seem to work, you can try the following:
- wait more time for it to load
- hide & show or remove & add back to chart
- don't add the indicator to chart multiple times in a short amount of time, as you may be rate limited

Ninja Scalping: StrategyThis is a strategy version for scalping signals. The objective of these signals is to accumulate more BTC through buying and selling of Altcoins. Thus, it is expected that these signals yield BTC gains when the crypto market has bullish days, as when BTC bleeds, other coins bleed even more. Let us get ready for the altseason!!
As mentioned above, the goal is to increase BTC's holdings through buying and selling of Alts. However, different Alts react differently against BTC. Therefore, there is no set of parameters that works for all Alts. The good news is that I tried my best to limit the number of parameters required to be tuned for a specific Alt to two. Also, this strategy helps back-test and tune the parameters for the desired Altcoin, with no guarantee that what happened in the past would happen in the future. This strategy is generally conservative, and it does not enter many trades. However, you can be more aggressive by changing the multiplier value: the smaller the value, the more aggressive the strategies. One can be more aggressive when the market is super bullish. Actually, you can test this by playing with the dates for the back-testing to have an idea of what would be suitable parameters when BTC is strong or weak. For the image attached, the strategy is back-tested from Jan 1, 2021, to March 18, 2021, assuming an initial capital of 1 BTC.
For the time span parameter, typical values are 5, 10, 14, 21, 34, 50, and 100. For the multiplier, typical values range between 0.01 and 2.
Use it at your own risk. Feedbacks are more than welcome. Happy trading!

Moving Average Displaced Envelope. These envelopes are calculated
by multiplying percentage factors with their displaced expotential
moving average (EMA) core.
How To Trade Using:
Adjust the envelopes percentage factors to control the quantity and
quality of the signals. If a previous high goes above the envelope
a sell signal is generated. Conversely, if the previous low goes below
the envelope a buy signal is given.

SNAP BACK 2.0 Strategy
This strategy is designed to allow you to catch the bounce or "SNAP Back" of an equity that has been in a trend.
1) Once the moving averages are in the order of 200SMA > 50 SMA > 34EMA > 20SMA > 8EMA (or reverse for and uptrend), the strategy is setup.
2) Next you wait for a trigger of the closing price crossing the 8EMA, while there is a desired gap size between the 8EMA and the 20SMA (2-10% of stock value preferred).
3) Exit position based on target profit reached (conservative sell half at 34EMA and engage a trailing stop loss for remainder or set static limit) or price crosses 8EMA or stop loss%
*)This code also allows you to determine your desired backtesting date compliments of alanaster
This code is the product of many hours of hard work on the part of the greater tradingview community. The credit goes to everyone in the community who has put code out there for the greater good.
The idea for the coding came from a video I watched on YouTube presented by TradeStation called Snap Back - thank you guys for the inspiration.
UPDATE: I have coded the other side of the strategy to allow you to take advantage of the same set-up in an uptrend for Short plays. You can turn the up or downsides on, off, or both.
The main intent is to catch the bounces of a falling stock. However, I have found that you can do the inverse and catch the drops in a rising stock (the latter is not as reliable). This also tends to work better on less volatile stocks. I have included a large volume of user defined conditions and display entry and exit conditions on the chart to see how your choices are impacting the script.
Basic SMA 200 StrategyThe SMA 200 basic strategy will be more than familiar to most traders.
This strategy is to stay with the programming language so to say the "Hello World" of trading.
The SMA 200 basic strategy is also one of the simplest strategies in trading. All that is required is the price and a 200 period moving average. Usually the strategy is used in the daily chart.
The rules are as follows:
Entry: A position is opened when the price crosses the moving average 200 from the bottom to the top.
Exit: The position is closed when the price crosses the moving average from top to bottom.
This is a trend following system and was originally used for trading stocks.
In my opinion, trading with the strategy is recommended to every beginner. There are strategies with better performance, but they are much more complicated to implement. And that's where the big advantage of the strategy can be seen.
Beginners are more than overwhelmed at the beginning of their trading career. Often beginners trade in the 5 min chart with 6 different indicators some signals that they have seen in a Youtube video.
Comparable to a beginner driver who immediately gets into a Porsche as his first car.
Beginners should follow simple rules and avoid intraday charts. Above all, you should do the actual work of a trader.A trader does not just press the mouse twenty times a day and then has easily earned 2000 $. A trader tests systems down to the smallest detail, optimizes and tests again, until he has found an almost " waterproof " trading system. The 200 SMA basic strategy is excellent for gaining experience, learning to follow the rules of a system and not to burn your money right away.
With this script you can test how successful the "simplest strategy in the world" would have been in the past.
Small tip: Do not trade Forex with it it will never work. The strategy is made for long trends and you can find them for example in the stock market.
Have fun with it! About a positive feedback I would be very happy of course.
