Moving averages are used to determine trend. These moving averages are designed to determine trend with reactive coloring and utilizes a unique version of the Hull moving average. This is one of many iterations of fishnet MAs I have made in the past.
I first found fishnet MAs, which is a lot of moving averages of increasing length, from @TusenPix
This strategy has a Fisher-Transform indicator applied to the highs and lows of a Hull moving average instead of the price. It also has a Commodity Channel Index to help with entry/exit. Each part of the strategy can be turned on and off, for example turn off CCI or HMA so they are not used in the order opening/exiting. The base of the strategies entry and exit...
Keeping in mind of getting full potential of Donchian Channels, As part of this script, Linear Regression is used as primary source to identify trend and execute the trades.
Hull Moving Average given as alternative option in place of Linear regression.
Linear regression used to identify trend, trade setup, and stop. Based on...
The TEMA/DEMA/HMA strategy is a basic trend follower looking for when the TEMA crosses above the DEMA as a buy signal and the opposite for the sell.
The HMA is used as a longer more Dynamic MA to confirm the wider trend to filter out bad trades.
This is a basic idea that can be expanded on using different indicator types to either add signals or filter out...
In this strategy, 15 indicators are used, each giving its results as a numerical value, which then is added or subtracted from the total points, gathered from all 15 indicators.
Many thanks to RafaelZioni for his great work making the EasySys1 script which i modified to create this script.
Onchart is drawn some of the indicators, but not all, a info panel is...
This indicator script setup is published to identify the strength and ride the trends.
HMA 100 period is used as default. However this can be changed as per wish. Major turning points or decisions can be made using this HMA line. Purple color is used to identify this. This can be used as the final extreme stop for any trend before it...
Hull is its extremely responsive and smooth moving average created by Alan Hull in 2005.
Minimal lag and smooth curves made HMA extremely popular TA tool.
Script was made to regroup multiple hull variants in one indicator, maintaining flexible customization and intuitive visualization
Option to chose between 3 Hull...
This script is for custom candles based on an HMA calculation with a default period of 10 as well as an SMA of the close price, defaulted to 1 period to only show the current price. The purpose of the custom candles is to try and reduce noise from candles and help identify trends. These custom candles somewhat resemble Heikin-Ashi candles in their...
So you may be looking at the graph and thinking "this is a mess", and I agree.
The purpose of this script is to plot in the same graph every single type of moving average that I could think of, so you can find the ones that are better for your timeframe and for your asset. Once you add it, disable those types that doesn't seem to serve your purpose, until you...
This is a remake of the famous LazyBear Indicator, the Squeeze Momentum Indicator.
All i did was take out the SMA's and replace them with HMA's. HMA is a more responsive moving average.
Hull Moving Average.
This is a derivative of John Carter's "TTM Squeeze" volatility indicator, as discussed in his book "Mastering the Trade" (chapter 11).
Black crosses on the...
Just 2 Moving Averages with adjustable settings and shifting capability, plus signals and predicting continuations.
At the time of publish these different types of MAs are supported:
- SMA (Simple)
- EMA (Exponential)
- DEMA (Double Exponential)
- TEMA (Triple Exponential)
- RMA (Adjusted Exponential)
- WMA (Weighted)
- VWMA (Volume Weighted)
Hull Moving Average Cloud, is not the normal Hull crossover, instead opens orders at cross of price and alternative Hull MA configuration (stretches/shrinks with momentum)
Has history settings, Commission already included in result. Only looks into past, should be no repaint (im sure the trolls will correct me if im wrong, thankyou trolls i can always count on...
Can work on Forex if change equity currency and SL and TP etc
This example tuned for ETH/BTC
Enters on HMA (Hull Moving Average) and D1 (Daily Candle) crossovers, Exits basket when profit = TP (Target Profit)
Has Commission and slippage added, test equity at 1 BTC lotsize set too 1% of equity for each order
This is a simple Hull Moving Average based strategy using a short term HMA for signal generation and a long term HMA for filtering purposes.
A long entry is generated if the short term HMA changes direction from decreasing to increasing values and if the long term HMA indicates an uptrend (i.e. previous value < current value)
A short entry is generated if the...
In the previous Zero-Lag MA post, we introduced the "mirroring" technique and the associated calculation.
In this post, we will see how we can use the same technique, with a slight variation, to evolve our zero lag moving average line, add more "smoothness" and still maintaining the low lag and fast response to data series changes.
to use the "mirroring"...
