OBV IBOVOn Balance Volume is one of the most popular volume-based indicators and my favorite. In the absence of volume data for the IBOV I decided to construct the volume indicator and the OBV indicator based on that.

IBOV VOLUMEThe volume data for the Brazilian indices (IBOV, IBRA, IBXL, SMLL and.t.c.) are not available on TradingView temporarily. As I find the volume indicator very important to the technical analysis, decided to create a script that came to take over the lack of this indicator on TradingView, which is a great platform but have this temporary issue. The indicator is for the IBOV index and takes in count the last composite for the index (which is re-evaluated quaterly), so the for the oldest data it’s not useful, but for the last year are sufficient.
Os dados de volume para os índices brasileiros (IBOV, IBRA, IBXL, SMLL e.t.c.) estão temporariamente indisponíveis no TradingView. Como acho o indicador de volume muito importante para análise técnica, decidi elaborar um script que viesse a suprir pelo menos parcialmente esta carência do TradingView, que é uma plataforma ótima mas apresentou este problema. O indicador é para o IBOV e leva em conta a última composição de carteira do índice, portanto perde o sentido para dados mais antigos, mas para o último ano são suficientes.
