TF RSI Bias (H1) + 1M Entry — Indicator
Purpose
A clean, rules-based intraday tool that aligns fast 1-minute entries with a higher-timeframe (1-hour) momentum bias. Built for scalpers and short-term traders who want simple, repeatable signals with optional filters.
How it works
Higher-TF Bias (H1):
The indicator computes RSI on the 1-hour timeframe and compares it to its SMA.
RSI > RSI-SMA → LONG bias
RSI < RSI-SMA → SHORT bias
The chart background can be tinted to show the current bias.
Entry (1-minute):
Signals fire when the 1-minute RSI crosses its own SMA in the direction of the H1 bias.
Built-in filters (all optional)
EMA Alignment: Only take longs above, and shorts below, a configurable EMA.
VWAP Alignment: Only take longs above, and shorts below, session VWAP.
Session Window: Limit signals to a trading session (e.g., 09:30–16:00 exchange time).
Confirm on Close: Validate signals only after the bar closes (reduces noise).
One Signal per Bar: Prevents multiple triggers within the same bar.
Only First Signal After Full Hour: Allows just the first valid signal after :00 each hour; further signals are suppressed until the next hour starts.
Presets (convenience defaults)
Use the Market Preset dropdown to auto-configure sensible defaults:
NASDAQ (NQ/NAS100): EMA 20, VWAP on, Session 09:30–16:00.
Gold (XAUUSD): EMA 21, VWAP on, Session off (24/5).
Bitcoin (BTCUSD): EMA 34, VWAP off, Session off (24/7).
Select Custom to set everything manually.
Signals & Alerts
Plots BUY/SELL markers on the chart when conditions are met.
Two ready-to-use alerts: “MTF RSI Long” and “MTF RSI Short.”

EMA length and EMA/VWAP toggles
Session on/off and session hours
Confirm on Close, One Signal per Bar, Only First Signal After Full Hour
