MODULAR STRATEGY (VMA + DIVERGENCE + LINEAR)

OVERVIEW
This is my original work, developed end-to-end by me, from the initial trading logic and architecture to the final implementation, refinement, and testing. It’s a modular strategy that blends multiple signal “families” into one framework so you can adapt it to different market conditions without needing separate scripts.

PERFORMANCE
Don’t take anyone’s word for it. Check the actual results in Strategy Tester → Overview / Performance Summary for your symbol and timeframe (Net Profit, Profit Factor, Max Drawdown, trade list, etc.). Performance depends on the market, timeframe, settings, and execution assumptions (fees, slippage, spread).

WHAT IT DOES
The strategy is designed to:
- React to both trending and ranging conditions
- Identify moments where price is stretched versus returning toward a value reference
- Use confirmation logic to reduce low-quality entries during chop
- Manage risk consistently through configurable exits and position handling

VMA
Uses a dynamic “value” reference to judge whether price is extended or returning to balance, and to guide trade direction depending on context.

Divergence Confirmation Engine
Uses divergence concepts from momentum/volume behavior to help detect weakening moves and improve timing. Treated as confirmation, not a guarantee.

Trend / Linear Engine
Uses a trend structure reference to participate in directional moves and support systematic trade management in trend regimes.

ALERTS
Designed to work cleanly with “Order fills only” alerts for automation workflows with JSON control in UI.

DISCLAIMER
This is a research/backtest tool. Backtests are not guarantees of future performance. Always validate on your own market conditions and manage risk properly.
