📊 INDICATOR OVERVIEW

The Conditions Gate + IPDA Timing indicator is a unified risk management and
timing system combining:

1. CONDITIONS GATE: Non-directional permission system based on seasonality
and economic events. Evaluates market risk conditions and applies risk
multipliers to position sizing.

2. IPDA TIMING: Intraperiod Directional Analysis that tracks trading days
from an anchor date, marking 20/40/60-day cycles with lookback high/low
levels to identify recurring structural patterns.

Together they provide: WHEN conditions permit trading + WHAT timing cycles
matter for structure.

1. Gate State

├─ Green = Full risk allowed (1.0x multiplier)
├─ Orange = Reduced risk (0.5x multiplier, runners disabled)
├─ Red = High caution (0.25x multiplier, no runners/market makers)
└─ Determined by: Seasonality + Active Events

2. Gate Allowed
├─ YES = Conditions permit trading (state ≠ UNFAVOURABLE)
├─ NO = Gate is closed, use only defensive trades
└─ Quick read: Can I trade right now?

3. Risk Score
├─ 1.0 = Full position sizing (FAVOURABLE)
├─ 0.5 = 50% position sizing (NEUTRAL)
├─ 0.25 = 25% position sizing (UNFAVOURABLE)
└─ Apply this multiplier to your normal position size

4. Seasonality
├─ FAVOURABLE = Most months (normal trading)
├─ NEUTRAL = June (low vol expectations)
└─ UNFAVOURABLE = July, August, mid-December onwards

Why? Historical volatility patterns. Summer doldrums + holiday seasonality

5. Event Window
├─ YES = Currently within event pre/shock/post window
├─ NO = No major events active
└─ Window timing: Pre (60min) → Shock (15min) → Post (120min) default

6. Event Tier
├─ Tier1 = High-impact events (NFP, FOMC, ECB decisions)
│ → Triggers UNFAVOURABLE state immediately
├─ Tier2 = Medium-impact events (CPI, GDP, Jobs Reports)
│ → Downgrade FAVOURABLE → NEUTRAL only

7. Event Name

├─ Counts UP from anchor date

10. Next Marker
├─ Shows upcoming milestone and days remaining
├─ "20D in 5" = 5 trading days until 20-day mark
├─ "40D in 17" = 17 trading days until 40-day mark
