The Ripple block is used in the instant transfer system between the UAE and India. The RAK Bank in the UAE has entered into an agreement with Ripple, in which its customers will be able to send instant cross-border payments to Axis Bank's clients in India. Head of RAK Bank Peter Ingland said that "thanks to Ripple's blocking solution for making international payments, customers can easily send money in real time." Also last week, the American financial company American Express reported that it uses RippleNet's blockbuster to conduct instant payments between customers in the UK and the US.
