VIX rising along with SPY is an ominous sign

- For the past 1 month the vix is moving higher in parallel with the SPY. This is not a good sign as its warning of an explosion in volatility. Given how complacent the market is, I would assume this explosion in volatility will be downwards not upwards.

- I have another vix strategy which is also predicting a massive spike this week or latest next week
