it has been more than 3 years of sideway moves........finally it has broke out of the box channel and beginning to move upwards.
Provided no forms of clamping down on this sector (unlikely), we should see it continue to move upwards. The 5th plenary meeting outcome - one of it is on raising China as a global tech powerhouse and that means more attention and investment will be pour into these companies.
Of course, investing in the individual company within this sector may be more rewarding, it also come with its risks as well (Alibaba from 300 to near 80 ), so an ETF provides the cushion and stability, offering a moderate risk/reward, diversification and convenience.
