Buyers most likely managed to reverse the downtrend. If today the price cannot close again within any downtrend channel, then next week the priority for the GBPUSD currency pair will be buy.
SELL scenario: As well as for the euro, most likely today there will be fixing of profit and the instrument will roll back down. It is better to wait for the American session to search for entry points.
