usually price starts a period by visiting them

A smart trader always does 4 things:
1. decide what to do
2. Decide on the area of execution
3. wait for a signal
4. Decide on detailed tatics (entry, SL, target and MM)

If u miss any of them, you will have a problem

Once you set your stop, Do not change it during the trading except for a better position
You had a very good reason for its placement and probably a very bad reason for changing it
