We have another breakout today so the idea is still on. Price is now firmly above the upper boundary of the down channel. I am looking for more upside.

Trading this pair sometimes is like watching paint dry. The gyrations and almost 'breakouts' , up and down

This idea has failed. The ECB announced that QE was ending in December and theoretically the euro was supposed to gain but it fell instead. This is why it is difficult to trade with just fundamentals alone. The end of QE should mean less weakening of the euro but that is not what happened.
