In case of break out the target and stop are shown by the "long position" element. The actual target is much higher but recently the market is erratic and consistently fails to reach conventional targets, so the suggestion is to use reduced targets. The overall ETHUSD market is bullish midterm so far, so it's best to trade only longs these days for safer trading. Anytime a price has a good dip to recent low, it's a good opportunity for small long trades (example the recent 288.6-238)

Having bullish trend is no longer true. Be careful with longs. This is the last update on this idea. A lot of money are flowing into other coins (specifically BTC) from ETH during those rallies, so buying pressure was reduced significantly.
But I doubt it will play out based on the very bad proportion of the pole to the flag.
