Volume & Effort, a Wyckoff Technique

Wyckoff method dictates that effort and result are inextricably linked. For instance if the Effort = Result than the price movement is backed by smart money and is warranted. However if the price movement is not backed by the same effort, than this can be an indication of a coming reversal. So what to look for. If the price is increasing/decreasing, effort=result if the volume INCREASES along with the price movement. An example would be a 2% increase backed by increasingly larger volume. Following such a move, the price turns down while the volume begins decreasing. In this example the effort=result up until the downturn. When the turn happened effort<result indicating that the original trend will likely continue when effort(volume) comes back into play. What this chart is showing is increasing strength of bitcoin, but the volume on the most recent bar is lacking a bit. This is an indication that the price could reverse unless more volume is seen. The buyers are slowing down and the bears will begin to take over if the bulls don't continue to push the price.
