What a blessed relief is laughter. It flies in the face of manners, values, political correctness and decorum. It exposes us for what we are, the only animal with a sense of humor. "There's Something About Mary" is an unalloyed exercise in bad taste, and contains five or six explosively funny sequences. OK, five explosive, one moderate.
I love it when a movie takes control, sweeps away my doubts and objections, and compels me to laugh. I'm having a physical reaction, not an intellectual one. There's such freedom in laughing so loudly. I feel cleansed.

Intellectually speaking there are some terrific Technical Analysts on trading view. I have noticed some good ones speaking to NVT a lot lately. I am puzzled their insistence on using NVT with weekly and monthly charts while keeping the "Force daily view across all times" box checked. Going through the math of the NVT calculation is one thing. Knowing exactly the process that Tradingview uses when you uncheck that box is another. I am not going to speak to either. But I did want to quote Ebert on this. So hair gel aside, I have a physical reaction - mind's eye - when I uncheck the box. Look at the chart. Make your own conclusions.
