BTC - Further downside or local bottom accumulation?

The break under 9k indicated a great short opportunity. There isn't much support between 9k and 8.6k. Opened short from 9k and closed around 8.7k with staggered buys. This area is starting to form support so it could be a pivot point for a push back up or a reload before further downside. I suspect it depends on the time in this range because if this is an accumulation range we will hold this channel longer than we would a reload channel to drop further.
