This is to follow up on my previous ideas' statement: I will not invest in alts as it is not the right moment in my opinion.

Indeed, There is a misconception regarding altcoins according to which they lose only when btc goes down. This is not true. Alts lose also when BTC pumps hard (and I would say, unexpectedly), as all the liquidity is drained by BTC. Liquidity will flow to alts again when the movement of BTC is exhausted. You can easily see it from the double chart : BTC vs DOMINANCE (higher dominance of BTC = altcoins down; decreasing dominance = alts up)

You might say that alts go up as well when BTC goes up, but Of course, by "lose" I mean with respect to BTC. If you hold an alts doing =10% while BTC is doing +20%, you are losing. It is not a real loss, but an opportunity cost in terms of missed profits. Also, why would you invest in something that not only is riskier, but also provides a smaller return?

This does not mean that we should wait doing nothing. On the contrary, this is a blessing. This is the time in which the future sectors/trends can be identified, your to-be-monitored list of Altcoin is created and new positions can start to be built little by little, without chasing prices upwards.
