ASML is a global leader in manufacturing semi-conductors but the share price has been lagging behind its competitors who are trading close to all-time highs. A breakout is inevitable but if it fails, it will track the 50-month moving average.
Why the 50-month MA?? The last time the stock ever closed below this level was in Sep and Oct 2022 and during the 2008 financial crisis. There is no reason for the stock to drop to October 2022 lows unless there is a fundamental cause.
The stock has a high probability to go higher but if it breaks down, an entry at the 50-month moving average will be the next top-up.
