Dump this morning in precious metals and miners aided by sharp move higher in DXY. It looks like DXY has topped for the time being and the PM sector has rebounded BUT unless Gold can break 1875 and Silver 26.13, risk remains down.
I neglected to mention that when SILJ does bottom, I'll be vacuuming every share I can afford given what I expec to follow. 'Min' target for the next peak is 25-30. Just my 2 cents. DYOR.
We got the forecasted bounce in both Gold and Silver. Resistance is at 1900 and 26.10 respectively. Until we get through those convincingly, we could see the 1700s and 23s next before higher.
It looks like massive stimulus is finally upon us and the only question is how big it will be. The Biden team is considering up to $2 trillion in fiscal stimulus, far in excess of earlier estimates of $750 billion. Recent comments from several Fed members regarding the taper of monthly monetary stimulus seem disingenuous at best, given that the Fed will be...
By Richard Rubin and Eliza Collins President-elect Joe Biden plans to call for a $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief plan to help Americans weather the economic shock of the pandemic and pump more money into testing and vaccine distribution, according to senior incoming Biden administration officials. Mr. Biden in a speech Thursday evening plans to lay out priorities...
A break of 1865 likely negates this potential.
Stimulus: When, Not If Taking a step back from the day-to-day minutia and focusing on the big picture: Whether we go straight up from here, go down to a lower low now or in a few weeks, unless the Fed et al. are going to allow markets to crash and cause a systemic collapse and the worst depression ever—which I seriously doubt and would go completely against...
"Speculate" is precisely what we will do today, as there is no one anywhere who can accurately predict what the Fed will do next. This has been the case since Greenspan and "the size of his briefcase" all the way through to Bernanke, Yellen, and Powell. You may think you know what the Fed will do next, but they often end up moving too soon or too late. So, anyone...
Exchange Traded Funds, or “ETFs”, in all asset classes have soared in popularity over the years due to their liquidity, convenience, and low cost. They’re simple to trade, and they provide a quick and easy way to create a portfolio compared with having to buy each of the individual underlying assets. With respect to Gold and Silver , GLD and SLV provide an easy...
Facts: Gold price bounced off the key resistance at $1900 Local double top formation surfaced on daily chart Recommendation: Trade: Short position on GOLD at market price Targe: 1850, 1790 Stop: 1915 Opinion: The gold market started with an upward move, but sellers regained control at the $1900 handle, where the upper limit of the broad downward...
By Kristina Peterson and Andrew Duehren WASHINGTON -- The House on Monday night passed a sweeping year-end package that included roughly $900 billion of relief for households and businesses battered by the coronavirus pandemic, an emergency measure aimed at buoying the country through a difficult winter. In two votes, the House approved both the infusion of...

Silver has always been a wily beast for investors due to its dual precious metal/industrial metal uses, and 2021 sees silver rising on both. That contrasts with 2011, when a proper bubble in silver developed on rank speculation linked to a tumbling US dollar and the Fed’s seemingly radical monetary policy of QE2 from late 2010. QE scary? How times have...

Rather than go through the various reasons why I believed a low was close, below are some of the comment I posted over the past week: "New Stimulus pending, 'December' started, while Gold and Silver near multi-month lows, extreme oversold, sentiment in the toilet, physical scarcity rising. Risk/reward is pretty obvious down here imho." "The Banks monitor the...
