Crypto Scannner for Traffic Lights StrategyI allways try to make trading easier. Developing Scripts for a quick backtest and improvement of a strategy, getting alerts for entry and exit a position. Loading data to a spreadsheet is also important and takes time.
In this case finding good parameters in different markets or assets to enter in a position, is a bit exhausting. It is something you have to do everyday, and sometimes in different moments of the day.
So I manage to develop a Screener, to take a quick look at specific hours, and tell if I have a buy or sell condition in an specific asset. Obviously this is not an alert to make a trade instantaneusly, but this help you filter a lot of information in matters of seconds. Then open those specific charts and make a better analisys.
A few weeks ago, I published a scrpipt called "Traffic Lights Strategy", that uses 4 emas to get a buy or a sell condition.
It is easy to understand and use, but if you don´t want to missed some opportunities, and don't want to be look at the screen in all the time looking for them, I have here a simple solution.
This script works plotting 2 labels. The first one plots all the assets in which the condition is true (fastema > medema > slowema > filterema or fastema < medema < slowema < filterema)
The second one plots the assets were the condition is true only if happened up to 5 candles back, so you can be in time to enter a trade.
You can take the script and customize it for a different strategy or assets. I coded like this because I backtested this strategy in this specific assets, and statistics suggest that it might be profitable.
I hope this works for you. In other time I'll try to code a script for the others strategies I published.

Multi-timeframe MAs + Stoch RSI SignalsHello traders,
I welcome you to my first published script on TradingView: “Multi-timeframe Moving Averages + Stochastic RSI”.
The script is based on a simple formula: Buy signals are generated when a fast moving average is above a slower moving average (uptrend) and the Stochastic RSI K line is crossing above the oversold level (entry).
Sell signals are generated when a fast moving average is below a slower moving average (downtrend) and the Stochastic RSI K line is crossing below the overbought level (entry).
This indicator works best in strong trends!
**Please note the above example has repainting turned on which may produce unrealistic results when viewing historical data. See below for more information regarding this and how you can turn it off.**
The user has the following inputs:
- Option to change the Stochastic RSI settings, including the oversold and overbought levels.
- Option to enter any value for both the Fast Moving Average and the Slow Moving Average.
- Option to change between EMA or SMA for each moving average.
- Multiple time frames to choose from, as well as the ability to selectively turn off individual time frames (both plots and alerts).
(Default time frames are 1 hour, 4 hour, and Daily. You can have a 4th time frame by changing your current time frame to something lower than the other 3 time frames)
- Turn on/off repainting: If repainting is turned on you will get an alert and buy/sell signal on chart immediately when condition is met, however the signal may disappear from chart if the condition reverses during the same candle.
If repainting is turned off, the indicator will wait for the candle to close before issuing the alert and painting the signal on chart.
For higher time frames, the indicator will wait for the candle in the higher time frame to close before issuing a signal if repaint is turned off. Default is set to Repaint on, so please be aware of this if you do not want repainting.
How to use alerts:
- Before you do anything, make sure your current time frame is the lowest time frame you’d like alerts on, as you will still receive alerts for the higher time frames you selected in settings.
- Once you have all the settings changed to how you like, save your chart first. Then right click on any of the indicator’s buy/sell signals on the chart and click “Add Alert on MAs + Stoch RSI”.
- Make sure “Any alert() function call” is selected under the Condition.
- You can delete or change the text in “Alert name” if you want as the alert message is already built into the indicator, and it will tell you in the alert message which asset and time frame to buy or sell.
Other things to note:
- The indicator will not display the buy/sell signals of lower time frames when you are on a higher time frame. This was done purposely to reduce clutter on the chart when you switch to higher time frames.
- While the alert message will tell you which time frame a signal was generated, the plots on the chart will instead show “Buy/Sell TF1, or TF2, or TF3”.
If the signal is from the current time frame that the alert was created on, then it will simply show “Buy” or “Sell”.

PineGIF - Display Gifs & Images In Tradingview [LuxAlgo]Pinescript is not designed to create or display images, let alone gifs, but it's very fun to try, and that's what this script does. This script allows the user to display three different gifs. In this post, we explain how we managed to display images/gif's using pinescript tables.
1. Image Pre-Processing
Due to pinescript limitations, we can't possibly display images with an excessively high resolution. As such we targeted pixel art as a primary image source. We used a pixel art gif of the magnificent Octocat (the mascot for the source-code hosting service GitHub) for our first try.
We first extract each frame from the gif and resize them to a 50x50 resolution which returns frames made of 2500 pixels. This process was done using python.
Getting Individual Pixels RGBA Values
Python can easily return a matrix containing each pixel's rgba value. For convenience, we converted the rgba values to hex.
We then create a simple code allowing us to return a pinescript array containing the 2500 pixel hex colors. We do this process for each frame.
2. Defining Table Cell Color
In the code, each frame is its own array. We create a new table with dimensions equal to len(frame1)^2 (we assume height = width).
The color of a cell is defined by the color of the image pixel at the same exact location. When a new bar is created, we do this exact process using a different frame which ultimately allows a new frame to be displayed.
3. Playing The GIFs
By default, the script will play the gif of the Tradingview cloud logo raining. In order to play the gif, simply use the replay mode. The replay speed allows the user to determine the frame rate (0.1 for the raining cloud and Nyan cat works best, 0.5 for Octocat).
We included the frames of the Octocat and Nyan cat gifs in the script.

Displaying static images is possible and involves the same process described above.

The dashboard is dynamically created based on user input for position and size. It shows the selected timeframes, bar types, and combo setups, providing a quick overview of the market conditions across multiple timeframes.
Timeframes: Displays the four user chosen timeframes that the dashboard fetches data from.
Arrow and Color: Functions to set the arrow direction and color based on current bar action. Green and up arrow: price is above it's candle open.
Red and down arrow: price is below it's candles open.
Background Color: Functions to set background color based on the bar type. White for an outside bar(3), yellow for an inside bar(1), no color for a continuation bar(2).
Strat Candle Combos: Functions to determine if the bar is an Inside(1), Continuation Up(2u), Continuation Down(2d), or Outside bar(3). Shows the previous bar and the current bar for the user's chosen timeframes.
Candle Visuals:
The script plots labels and colors for Inside and Outside bars based on user preferences. It helps in quickly identifying potential trading setups on the chart.

INDIGO - SwingTraderThis is a script that uses a couple of other indicators to find good swing trade entry's and exit's. You can choose which signals the script uses to calculate the position of the signals.
It uses the following:
- Stoch RSI
- MACD
- POC
- INDIGO Cloud
Also added are volume candles, acceleration of momentum indicators (triangle) and MACD candles. This way you can see more info to decide if the entry is valid.
I have used a couple of public scripts and tried to give credit to the original creators. If there is any script that hasn't been credited, please contact me.

SectorsThis script attempts to show the relative strength of the 11 sectors in the SPX, which can be accomplished in three ways:
1. Sectors - displays all sector indices as they appear normally
2. Sector Relativity - displays each sector divided by the sum of the other 10 sectors
3. Sector Alpha - displays the alpha of each sector as compared to the sum of the other 10 sectors
I have seen some other iterations of this script that compare each sector to the SPX as a whole, a couple problems with that:
1. SPX sector weightings are unequal and change quarterly, meaning you will get an inaccurate depiction of relative sector strength across time.
2. Even if using an equal-weight SPX, you would be comparing a sector to itself as all 11 sectors are included in the SPX, not just the complementary 10 you are looking to compare one sector to.
For more information on the sectors in the SPX or the calculation of Alpha, visit the links at the top of the script.
*Includes an option for repainting -- default value is true, meaning the script will repaint the current bar.
False = Not Repainting = Value for the current bar is not repainted, but all past values are offset by 1 bar.
True = Repainting = Value for the current bar is repainted, but all past values are correct and not offset by 1 bar.
In both cases, all of the historical values are correct, it is just a matter of whether you prefer the current bar to be realistically painted and the historical bars offset by 1, or the current bar to be repainted and the historical data to match their respective price bars.
As explained by TradingView,`f_security()` is for coders who want to offer their users a repainting/no-repainting version of the HTF data.
ZigZag Multi Time Frame with Fibonacci RetracementHello Traders,
This is ZigZag Multi Time Frame with Fibonacci Retracement script. It calculates the ZigZag using Higher Time Frame, draw Fibonacci Retracement lines and put labels accordingly. I already published Zigzag with Fibonacci Levels script but this one is Multi Time Frame and I didn't want to change/update it.
You can set ZigZag Period and Resolution as you wish. Zigzag is calculated using higher time frames (ex: 1day) so you better choose small numbers as Zigzag Period, such 2, 3 etc. you should choose higher time frame wisely, meaning that you should not set 1Day while chart resolution is 1min ;)
It draws Fibonacci levels between 0%-100% and If the price goes higher/lower than 100% level than the script draws Fibonacci Levels accordingly. This means it draws Fibonacci levels until this levels get higher/lower than the price.
"Show Zig Zag" is not enabled by default, you can enable it if you want to see ZigZag as well.
You have options to set Text Color, Line Color, Zigzag Up Color and Zigzag Down Color.
You can set the location of the Fibonnaci Levels -> Left or Right
You also have option to enable/disable following Fibonnaci Levels:
---> 0.236
---> 0.382
---> 0.500
---> 0.618
---> 0.786
I added "Colorful Fibonacci Levels" for fun. if you enable it then Fibonacci line colors will be different randomly on each move, see it for yourself :)

Multi timeframes 4 SMA'sThis script gives you the possibility to fastly plot 4 SMA's (défault 20, 50, 100 and 200 periods) in the actual TimeFrame and for 4 others timeframes.
In fact, when you're in lower timeframes, you may want to see where highers TF SMA's are without always changing the TF of the chart. This script was created for that.
It's really simply to use, by default only 4 SMA's of the present timeframe are ploted. If you want to check the higher TF SMA's, just tick the lines in the script parameters.
No strategy here, only trying to faster the use of indicators by changing parameters on multiple MA in the same time.

Candlestick Pattern FinderThis script identifies common candlestick patterns and marks them with a tool-tip on the chart. It is a compilation of Tradingview's built-in candlestick finding scripts so it uses the same rules defined by Tradingview to identify the patterns. Instead of using a separate indicator for each candlestick pattern, you can use this script to find all the candlestick patterns with a single indicator.
By default, the script does not mark any of the detected patterns on the chart. You will have to open the indicator settings and enable the patterns you would like to see on the chart. There are also three tick-boxes that let you to enable/disable all the selected bearish/bullish/neutral patterns at once, i.e. if you would like to only see bearish patterns, you can disable all the bullish and neutral patterns at once with the corresponding tick boxes. When you enable bullish patterns again, the script will show your selection of bullish patterns again on the chart.
When you hover on the tool-tips with your cursor, a short description about the pattern will be displayed.
[RESEARCH] Heikin-Ashi Chart IdentifierA deterministic approach to identify Heikin-Ashi chart type.
The script checks the next statements about HA:
HA chart does not have any gaps in a classic sense

Triangular Moving Average (TMA) bandsWhat in the world is up folks ??!??
Here's the indicator of the day. Sharing a simple one today because I'm busy coding for a few clients (fun life of a top script author on TradingView)
The TMA bands is an indicator that I discovered on FXCM a few years ago FXCM TMA bands
From the screenshot above, we see that when the price hits the lower band, it's a possible reverse BUY signal. When it hits the upper band, it's a possible SELL signal
Methodology
1) The Take Profit 1 is the middle line, Take Profit 2 is the opposite band.
2) Once the TP1 is hit, set your Stop Loss to breakeven
3) Once the TP2 is hit, if you still want to stay in the trade, set your Stop Loss to the TP1
That's what we call a trailing stop loss which I offered in the Trade Manager : Trade-Manager-Open-Source-Version/
It will be a powerful tool in your arsenal for some scalp/intraday trades

WHAT IT DOES
What you see above are not Bitmex candles, but this indicator's.
Bitcoin is listed on multiple exchanges. Many people have called for a single global index that would quote BTC price and volume across all exchanges: this script is such a virtual aggregate (formerly: Multi-Listed , Volume-Weighted Average Price ).
It will, independently for each tick, for any time-frame:
- Quote the price (O, H, L, C) and volume from Bitfinex (USD), Binance (USDT), bitFlyer (Yen), Bithumb (S. Korean Won), Coinbase (USD), Kraken (EUR) and even Bitmex (USD Contracts).
- Weight each price with the corresponding volume of the exchange.
- Quote the FOREX conversion rate in USD for each currency (USDJPY etc.)
- Finally return global average price (candles) in USD.
- Additionally provide (H+L)/2 etc. values.
No more "on Coinbase this" or "on Bitstamp that", you've now got a global overview!

HOW TO USE IT
Basically just add it to your chart and use the indicator's candles instead of the chart's main ticker.
By default, BTC World Price will display candles only, but you can also display OHLC & averages (in whichever style you want).
You may indeed want to hide the main symbol (top-left corner, click the 'eye' button next to its name), or switch it to something else than candles/bars (e.g. line).
Make sure "Scale Price Chart Only" is disabled if you want to use the auto-zoom feature. (if other indicators are messing your zoom, you can try to select "Line with Breaks" or "Area with Breaks" to allow these to overflow from the main window)
By clicking the triangle next to the indicator's name, you can select "Visual Order" (e.g "Bring to Front").
You can select regular Candles or Heikin-Ashi in Options.
In the Format > Inputs tab, you can select which exchanges to quote. By default, all of them are enabled.
The script also exposes the following typical values to the backend, which you can use as Price Source for other indicators: (e.g. MA, RSI, in their "Format > Input" tab)
Open Price (grey)
High Price (green)
Low Price (red)
Close Price (white)
(H + L)/2 (light blue)
(H + L + C)/3 (blue)
(O + H + L + C)/4 (purple)
They are all hidden by default (by means of maximum transparency).
In the Format > Style tab, you can change their color, transparency and style (line, area, etc), as well as uncheck Candles and Wicks to hide these.
If you are using "Indicator Last Value" and want to clear the clutter from all these values, simply uncheck them in Style. They will still be available as Price Source for other indicators.
You can also choose to scale it to the left, right (default) or "screen" (no scaling).
Once you're satisfied with your Style, you may click "Default"> "Save as default" in the botton-left. Everytime you load the indicator, it will look the same. ("Reset Settings" will reset to the script's defaults)

This is Opening Range for forex
Targets set at 127% , 162%, 200 %, 262 %, 362%, 423%, 685%, 1109% and 1794%
of the selected opening range. You can adjust targets as you like in the dialogue box
362%, 423%, 685%, 1109% and 1794% levels will not show unless selected in the dialogue box.
Check any one (only one) of the time periods to change the opening range period to suit.
New York opens at 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST (EDT)
Tokyo opens at 7:00 pm to 4:00 am EST (EDT)
Sydney opens at 5:00 pm to 2:00 am EST (EDT)
London opens at 3:00 am to 12:00 noon EST (EDT)
Because the actual forex day starts at 5pm it is not possible to plot some time periods correctly
ie try 120 minutes on the New York session. (Although this is not a problem with the other sessions)
If you keep to an hour or less and use periods that divide evenly into an hour all will be fine. All periods will actually work but will start looking a little funny.
No such problem occurs if you just use 5pm est to 5 pm est. other sessions could be put in as options or hard wired in with a few lines of script changes
There is an option in the dialogue box to display fib targets within Opening Range itself.
In the far past I adapted some original work created by Chris Moody from a 7-07-2014 script - there have been multiple adaptations . The script layout/ structure remains similar and messages regarding targets achieved (lines 224 - 230) are from the original script. In the original Chris gave Special Thanks To "The Coding Genius Behind The Curtain" - so hat tip to both.
KK_Price Action Channel (TDI BH)Hey guys,

This is the Price Action Channel. The bands are calculated using a smoothed moving average of the highs/lows. I have taken the smoothed moving average script from the public library in order to create this, so all props to whoever created that one.

Smart Range Breakout - SwiftEdgeDescription:
The "Smart Range Breakout - SwiftEdge" indicator is a custom tool designed for identifying potential breakout opportunities on a 1-minute chart, with a focus on volatile markets like the DAX index. This script introduces a unique approach by combining range consolidation detection with volume confirmation and breakout validation, tailored for short-term trading strategies.
How It Works:
The indicator identifies consolidation periods where the price range (difference between the highest high and lowest low over a user-defined length) is below a multiple of the Average True Range (ATR). This helps detect periods of low volatility, which often precede breakouts.
Once a consolidation is confirmed (minimum number of bars), a green box is drawn on the chart, spanning a fixed length of bars (default 50), representing the potential breakout zone.
Breakouts are signaled only when a candle opens above the upper boundary (box top) or below the lower boundary (box bottom) of the consolidation box, ensuring a clear entry point based on price action at the open.
The script includes a volume filter, requiring volume to exceed a moving average by a specified multiplier, and a confirmation period to validate the breakout over consecutive bars.
To avoid signal clutter, only one breakout signal (up or down) is generated per box, and no further signals are issued until a new consolidation box is formed.
How to Use:
Apply the indicator to a 1-minute chart (optimized for DAX or similar volatile indices).
Adjust the "Consolidation Length" (default 5) to set the lookback period for detecting consolidation.
Modify the "Range Threshold (ATR Multiplier)" (default 2.0) to make the consolidation detection more or less strict based on market volatility.
Use "Minimum Consolidation Bars" (default 2) to set the minimum duration of a consolidation phase.
Tune "Confirmation Bars" (default 1) to require more bars to confirm the breakout.
Set "Volume MA Length" (default 5) and "Volume Multiplier" (default 1.1) to filter breakouts with insufficient volume.

⭕️ Usage
━ First Steps:
When opening, select any point on the chart. It will not affect anything until you turn on Manual Start mode (more on this below).
The chart will immediately show the best results of the default Auto mode. You can switch Part's to try to find even better results in the table.
Now you can display any result from the table on the chart by entering its ID in the settings.
Repeat steps 3-4 until you determine which type of Stop Loss you like best. Then set it in the settings instead of Auto mode.
* Example: I flipped through 14 parts before I liked the first result and entered its ID so I could visually evaluate it on the chart.
Then select the stop loss type, choose it in place of Auto mode and repeat steps 3-4 or immediately follow the recommendations of the algorithm.
Now the Genetic Algorithm at the bottom right will prompt you to enter the Parameters you need to search for and select even better results.
Parameters must be entered All at once before they are updated. Enter recommendations strictly in fields with the same names.
Repeat steps 5-6 until there are approximately 10 Part's left or as you like. And after that, easily pour through the remaining Parts and select the best parameters.

You can also test at the same time along with Take Profit. In this example, I simply enabled Risk/Reward mode and immediately specified in the TP field Maximum RR, Minimum RR and Step. So in this example I can test (3-1) / 0.1 = 20 Takes of different sizes. There are additional tips in the settings.

⭕️ How it Works
Hypothesis of Uniform Distribution of Rare Elements After Mixing.
'This hypothesis states that if an array of N elements contains K valid elements, then after mixing, these valid elements will be approximately uniformly distributed.'
'This means that in a random sample of k elements, the proportion of valid elements should closely match their proportion in the original array, with some random variation.'
'According to the central limit theorem, repeated sampling will result in an average count of valid elements following a normal distribution.'
'This supports the assumption that the valid elements are evenly spread across the array.'
'To test this hypothesis, we can conduct an experiment:'

Practical Application
To apply this hypothesis, I needed a way to generate and thoroughly mix numerous possible combinations. Within Pine, generating over 100,000 combinations presents significant challenges, and storing millions of combinations requires excessive resources.
I developed an efficient mechanism that generates combinations in random order to address these limitations. While conventional methods often produce duplicates or require generating a complete list first, my approach guarantees that the first 10% of possible combinations are both unique and well-distributed. Based on my hypothesis, this sampling is sufficient to determine optimal testing parameters.
Most generators and randomizers fail to accommodate both my hypothesis and Pine's constraints. My solution utilizes a simple Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) for pseudo-randomization, enhanced with prime numbers to increase entropy during generation. I pre-generate the entire parameter range and then apply systematic mixing. This approach, combined with a hybrid combinatorial array-filling technique with linear distribution, delivers excellent generation quality.
My engine can efficiently generate and verify 300 unique combinations per batch. Based on the above, to determine optimal values, only 10-20 Parts need to be manually scrolled through to find the appropriate value or range, eliminating the need for exhaustive testing of millions of parameter combinations.
For the Score statistic I applied all the same, generated a range of Weights, distributed them randomly for each type of statistic to avoid manual distribution.

⭕️ Notes
For attentive users, a little tricks :)
To save time, switch parts every 3 seconds without waiting for it to load. After 10-20 parts, stop and wait for loading. If the pause is correct, you can switch between the rest of the parts without loading, as they will be cached. This used to work without having to wait for a pause, but now it does slower. This will save a lot of time if you are going to do a deeper backtest.
Sometimes you'll get the error “The scripts take too long to execute.”
For a quick fix you just need to switch the TF or Ticker back and forth and most likely everything will load.
The error appears because of problems on the side of the site because the engine is very heavy. It can also appear if you set too long a period for testing in BackWin or use a heavy indicator for testing.
Manual Start - Allow you to Start you Result from any point. Which in turn can help you choose a good stop-stick for your real position.
* It took me half a year from idea to current realization. This seems to be one of the few ways to build something automatic in backtest format and in this particular Pine environment. There are already better projects in other languages, and they are created much easier and faster because there are no limitations except for personal PC. If you see solutions to improve this system I would be glad if you share the code. At the moment I am tired and will continue him not soon.

The rows of the Money Flow Profile represent the trading activity at specific price ranges over a given period.
A normalized profile is included to compare each zone relative to the peak money flow using a percentage, with 100% indicating that a price range is the one with the highest accumulated money flow.
🔹 Delta Profile
The Delta Profile assesses the dominant sentiment (buying or selling) from volume delta at different price levels to gauge market sentiment and potential reversals.
Delta Profile rows with more significant buying or selling volume indicate dominance from one side of the market in that specific price area. Price coming back to that area might indicate willingness from a dominant side to further accumulate orders within it, potentially causing price to follow the direction established by this dominant side afterward.
The volume delta is determined from the user-selected Polarity Method, with "Bar Polarity" using candle sentiment to determine if a bar associated volume is buying or selling volume, and "Bar Buying/Selling Pressure" making use of the high/low price to obtain more precise results.

Users can quickly highlight the price levels with the highest recorded money flow activity through the included "Level of Significance". Various display methods are included:

The script initiates its analysis by detecting swing levels, which form the fundamental basis for its operations. It begins by identifying short-term swing points, automatically detected solely based on market movements without any reliance on user-defined input. Short-Term Swing Highs (STH) are peaks in price surrounded by lower highs on both sides, while Short-Term Swing Lows (STL) are troughs surrounded by higher lows.
To identify intermediate-term and long-term swing points, the script uses previously detected short-term swing points as reference points.
