Ehlers High Pass Filter [CC]The High Pass Filter was created by John Ehlers and I would define this indicator as both a momentum indicator but also a predictor indicator. This does a pretty good job of predicting future price action even though I have double smoothed it to provide clear buy and sell signals. I will be publishing quite a few more Ehlers indicators very soon so stay tuned. This indicator can be interpreted in a few different ways but most importantly it is a mid to long term sell signal when the indicator falls below the zero line and vice versa. It also falls below the zero line when the underlying price data starts losing momentum so it can be used also as a price reversal. I have included strong buy and sell signals in addition to normal ones so darker colors are strong signals and lighter colors are normal signals. Buy when the line turns green and sell when it turns red.
Let me know if there are any other indicators you would like to see me publish!

Hodrick-Prescott (HP) filterThis indicator is an implamentation of Hodrick-Prescott (HP) filter
This filter is a mathematical model the can remove cyclical components from the price signal to get the trend components.
"Lambda" is the smoothing factor and can have a value between 1 and infinity.
"Length" is the number of previous prices that are included in the filter.
The default values of lambda and length work well for almost all time frames.
Ehlers Decycler OscillatorThis indicator was originally developed by John F. Ehlers (Stocks & Commodities , V.33:10 (September, 2015): "Decyclers").
The idea is still the same as for the Simple Decycler.
Mr. Ehlers suggested to virtually eliminate lag by getting rid of the very low-frequency components. So, he applied the high-pass filter to the simple decycler.
Mr. Ehlers recommended to use two instances of the Decycler Oscillator with different parameters (high-pass filter period and multiplier). As a result, he got the Decycler Oscillator pair.
The first oscillator (red line) has a period of 125 bars, the second one (yellow line) has a period of 100 bars.
The interpretation is straightforward:
When the yellow line crosses over the red line, a trend reversal to the upside is indicated.
When the yellow line crosses under the red line, a trend reversal to the downside is indicated.
