Yes, in correction often many are ruined. On form of motion of the price it is visible that the price is in correction. I believe that correction is not ended yet. Yesterday the price punched the local trend line and support at the level of 1844 down. It is bad for price of gold. The following level according to Fibonacci can become 1830. Now it is necessary to be extremely attentive.
