TV18 Broadcast and e-Eighteen.com will merge with Network18 Media & Investments
NETWORK18 in a bid to help the companies expand their business further.
The merger will consolidate Network 18 Group's broadcast and digital businesses, which include 20 TV channels, business news portal Moneycontrol and entertainment network Viacom18.
Under the proposed combination, Network18 will issue 100 shares for every 172 shares of TV18 and issue 19 shares of for every share of E18, according to a Wednesday release.
