Take on most recent trend and set up

Started worrying about the cup and handle forming yesterday. Gap up this morning may support fear. Found the channel in the most recent down trend that will be my indicator. Will reconsider short if yesterdays highs are beat today, hoping for a false breakout followed by exit out of bottom of box to retest support in low 270s. Please feel free to critique my chart.
