Why the trade didn't go according to plan

firstly, altcoins are in trouble because of the BTC dominance
2. I didn't realize it on time because it was a fake breakout.

notes on breakouts, always make sure it is a good and long break, not a short candle break
also, use higher time frames like 2hrs and 4hrs.

Despite knowing this why did I enter the trade; I did cos BTC was also making a break and I expected a rally also so would I enter the trade again if i were in the same situation
