EUR/USD: Upside momentum becomes attractive!
During the European session on Thursday, EUR/USD traded more steadily near 1.1150, supported by a fresh sell-off in the US dollar. Risk sentiment is weighing on the safe-haven greenback as all eyes turn to upcoming key speeches from ECB President Lagarde and Fed Chairman Powell.
Looking ahead, I expect EUR/USD to remain bullish as long as the price remains above the key 34-EMA. The first resistance I target is the 2024 high at 1.1214 (September 25), followed by the 2023 high at 1.1275 (July 18).
