Sideways trend: Xác định một sideways trend bao gồm một chuỗi sóng giao động theo 1 biên độ nhất định có các mức hỗ trợ, kháng cự rõ ràng. Biên độ giữa mức hỗ trợ và kháng cự có thể xác định trên các khung thời gian cao hơn hoặc theo các mức swing high-low có ý nghĩa.
Ex:
Một sideway trend được bắt đầu khi có 4 sóng nằm trong mức giá của Swing trước đó !
