and secondly the 7000 range should be reached (exiting above the sloping resistance of the wedge) to confirm this chart pattern.

BTC/USD is looking to complete a morning doji star pattern.
Could be a bullish reversal, waiting for the candle to complete. Looks a bit diffrent on the EUR market though.

Looks like another attempt to set a bottom here. A decline below 6500 will extend the drop to 5900 most likely.
