Bitcoin adoption can be mapped according to Metcalfe's Law and Stock-To-Flow regression analysis. A price of $10,000,000 USD in 2050 is assumed using exponential curve fit to existing logarithmic price structure. As the market cap rises the volatility is reduced and the gartner hype cycles become less and less significant.
Nota
The yellow vertical lines are Bitcoin's halving dates. When this occurs, the block rewards released to miners cuts in half, resulting in a relief of selling pressure (miners sell their block rewards to update their mining rigs with new equipment). This creates a market shock that pulls price upwards over the following months and years.
