The AUD/USD rate has arrived at the lower boundary of the descending channel, in which it has been ranging for the last 3 months. We expect the rate to show an upward correction to a target rate of 0.76000 for the short term. For the long term we foresee a lot of upward potential, since the AUD can become stronger than the USD, due to surge in demand for commodities like iron ore (Australia having the largest share worldwide).
