Mid-week check-in - 7/17/2024

Just talking about my strategy of reducing my leverage as I have way too many positions and I am way over-leveraged, while the market is short-term overextended. What I expected this weekend happened exactly, and now I realize that this is a time I should take action. Unlike I did in Feb 13 and Dec 6 last year where I lost 10% of my account in a pullback because I was way overleveraged. I'll try to reduce my leverage by about 0.5x in the coming days. Though I have the feeling that new stocks are going to break out, forcing me to enter. I'll probably use the good old technique and weed out the losers completely while keeping the winners, only peeling the positions slightly. Wish me luck!
