This script uses a regular Stochastic RSI formula and then runs Ehlers' Super Smoother on top of it. It also provides buy/sell signals on crossovers.
The script is inspired by LazyBear Ehlers-Smoothed Stochastic RSI with Roofing Filter, except I find that the Roofing filter (existing implementation) does not work well near extreme price changes, where a regular...
Stochastic Relative Strength Index developed by Tushar Chande and Stanley Kroll.
This script has been written to eliminate the period variable.(Integer)
Thus, it can be used comfortably in adaptive period scripts ! (For example : Adaptive Moving Average , KAMA , FAMA .. etc. )
All efforts goes to ChaosTrader...
Here is a simple script that combines both the RSI and STOCH RSI so that it can be used in the same indicator. Handy for people who are not subscribed to tradingview and have a limited number of indicators.
Feel free to modify, feedback is welcome!
EDS AWESOME BOT SIGNALER
Specially for use with e.g. 3commas or autoview
But can also be used just in normal manual (visual) mode
This Script is very early Beta. Works for visual manual use....
and also for 3Commas Bot as "Signaler" (how to connect with Bot, see the docu on 3commas).
... but can use as Signaler for any Bot who is able to get Tradingview...
CCT StochRSI, proposed by Steve Karnish of Cedar Creek Trading, reconfigures classic StochRSI using custom parameters and smoothing.
There are 6 types supported.
(rsi - lowest(rsi, x)) / (highest(rsi, y) - lowest(rsi, z)) * 100
ema(common formula result, len)
Settings (values for x/y/z/len in the above formulae):
This is a different version of Stochastic RSI. the only difference is the use of variable moving average by Lazybear instead of regular sma for K smoothing.
Its purely an experiment. I am not a professional trader but an enthusiastic programmer trying different indicator combination to see different results.
Criticizing and negative comments will be gracefully...
This is RSI indicator which is more sesitive to price changes.
It is based upon a modern math tool - Laguerre transform filter.
With help of Laguerre filter one becomes able to create superior
indicators using very short data lengths as well. The use of shorter
data lengths means you can make the indicators more responsive to
changes in the price.
Took my other Log RSI script and plugged in Stochastic RSI to see how divergences play on an oscillator with two lines. Turns out divergences are good at predicting changes in the oscillator but that doesn't mean that the oscillator will always mimic price action.
Log vs. no log is virtually the same.
@fskrypt for introducing geometric mean...
