This script repaint, I tried it for for the last two days and just noticed that the TV alerts don't match the log...clearly a repainting issue.

Hi there, thanks for sharing this. I've only just started embarking on the same mission to code up some of these algos from Street smarts. So far have you found any that have been able to maintain a reasonable Drawdown whilst making a profit?

@showmethepips, funnily enough I was just reading Street Smarts recently and was going to do the same.
Have you started coding any of them yet? Interested to see how they play out in modern times as it’s a pretty old book now

@HayeTrading, Yes mate started coding a few up and putting a bit of a twist on them with minor take aways from other people ive learned from other mentors over the years. I do think the old principles outlined in the book are a good basis for afoundation of a system to start building out from but certainly not a case of build this and bang your killing it. They do make it clear in the book that they are discretionary traders still and that they do not advise to be 100% mechanical with whats in the book.

I had to change "takeProfitBars = input(0)" to "takeProfitBars = input(1)" to avoid an error it gave about the sum function
