Market Sessions (including extended hours) by Anche

Bitcoin / DollarBitfinex

Descrição

█ MARKET SESSIONS BY ANCHE

this script allows you to define up to 4 different sessions and plot those on your chart. It makes it easy to see when these sessions started and ended and what the price level is when the session opened. It's for example beneficial to see when sessions overlap, because at those times there might be more volume , because more people are active within a market.

█ CONCEPTS
 • plotting these sessions onto a chart can help you see overlap of 2 or more sessions. An overlap means more market participants, which can hint to an increase in volume .
 • when the indicator shows all historic sessions, you can spot certain trends, for example that an asian market is generally more bearish and EU more bullish , or vice versa.

█ FEATURES
 • up to 4 sessions
 • customisable session labels
 • customisable session times
 • extended hours (on/off)
 • timezone sync
 • show past sessions

█ VISUAL FEATURES
 • session plotted by top + bottom line or a box
 • show session open
 • customisable colors per session
 • customisable lines (width/style/color)
 • different visual settings for extended hours
 • customisable label sizes

can you add close session symbol
VesnaM
@shivamania, @anche1991 I would also love to use option to show line from closing price of one session extending into next session, and if it is New York Friday close then it extends into Monday Asia. Also, Saturday and Sunday should have an option to be hidden. Hope you can consider adding these features? This script is very useful, thank you ❤️

Great work, this is the most elegant Time focused indicator I've ever found. Thank you so much!
It would be great to be able to add an unlimited ammount of sessions in the configuration, so the user can customize the time windows of interest.

@Melenobytes thanks Meleno!

Basically you can add another of this indicator on your chart, then you have double the amount of sessions on your chart :-)

@anche1991, Yes! That is what I am currently using to have more than 4 time windows graphed. The problem is that you can save only one configuration of the indicator as default, so the other one has to be set manually and I don't know the way to have 2 versions of the indicator saved.

@Melenobytes, Ahh, I see. Didn't thought about that. Will try to add more, but I'm not sure if its smart, as it might increase loading times for the indicator
