@capissimo, you say signals are shifted one candle to the left? So the actual signal that is being alerted should be considered to be one candle after the signal, correct? Just curious if there might be any way to keep the smoother but get the alerts on the right candle? Great work though.

Looking at it differently, notice the offset=-1 parameter in the plot function in the original and this version. I left it unchanged, but my current version allows to omit this parameter and still have the outcome as in the original with the difference that the signal becomes more precise, by 1 candle. Did I answer your question?
@capissimo, so this current version if we just added it like yesterday has the more precise signal? If that's the case then I'm more than ok with it. So far it has proven to be very accurate.

@Kryptocoinking2u, the only difference is the length param value which was 24. It seems values in the range between 13 and 24 work the best.
Warning: this indicator repaints as it uses not an open of the price as source by default. Also signals are shifted to the left by 1 candle, you will later entries. Vital issue in high-volatility markets. Please be aware of this, as the indicator is simple HMA crossover strategy, it's a money button, but author did a bad thing by shifting signals to the left for better looking and using not open of source, letting the repaint happen. Real disrespec here, as author still didn't fix it!
1) Why a period of 24? Thoughts on other values?
2) Is hma3 creating a faster signal? How was the formula arrived at?
3) What is src = input (hl2)? mean?
