I keep seeing people trying to great out of this consolidation period a bit too quickly. this is my best guess.

it broke-out all right. just the wrong direction. bitcoin going down to 6k didn't help, i'm sure.

yep I've got about the same idea. Unless something happens (Bitcoin-wise, some exciting news or something bad) it might not break out of it's current pattern until March/April.
