Many traders - especially beginners - rely on others to tell them what stocks to trade and when to place their entries and their exits.
What I want to show you is not so much how to trade or what strategy to use, but once you have found a strategy that YOU like, how to set up this strategy in TradingView and get automated alerts when a stock meets your criteria.
This video covers:
How to setup your TradingView Chart
How to add built-in or custom TradingView Indicatorsto your chart
How to customise those indicators
How to find stocks that match your criteria using the TradingView Screener
How to save your set up
How to set up a TradingView Alert
How to get alerts sent to your phone or email or screen
How to check TradingView News to see what catalyst might have caused the alert
How to use TradingView Text Notes
Hope the video was useful.

Thumbs up if you like the idea or found it mildly interesting and I'll make more videos on similar features :)
Note: These alerts will work whether or not you have your computer on or not / are logged into TradingView or not. TradingView will watch the market for you while you work, play or sleep.
Setting alerts helps in letting the trade come to you, instead of chasing them.

Thank you man, this is great. Would this apply to Cryptocurrency as well? I appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge and know how with others!

@Carpe_Crypto, yes. Just click on the drop down next to the screener title and you can get it working for crypto in the same way.

@thawaspirit, thanks for the compliment. Best advice is to always find and follow your own path and do what makes most sense for you.

Had this video existed 1 year ago it would have saved me a lot of time. Thanks Angus for persisting with multiple attempts to include so much of value into a 20 minute video.

@Seandeleer, haha. Yeah it was bad. I started it 4 or 5 times and would get to the 20 min cut off and would run out of time, or got to the 15 min mark and click the wrong thing. Took me ages to get one that worked in one take . I like this video though. One of my better ones I think. Glad you liked it.
