The Infamous Boeing: Accidents Weight on Price Viés de baixa

The Infamous Boeing: Accidents Weigth on Price

Dear Esteemed Members,

Boeing’s stock price has also dropped by 8.5% since Monday after a plane had to make an emergency landing after a part of its fuselage ripped off mid-air. Another plane was grounded after a window fell out during takeoff. Alaska Airlines decided to inspect all Boeings.

The competition from Airbus, which has secured a deal with the US Air Force to provide 20 A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport aircraft for $3.5 billion. This deal could give Airbus an edge over Boeing in the military aviation market, and also boost its reputation and revenue.

Kind Regards,
Ely

Some people tell me BA has strong fundamentals, and the recent bearish news is nothing more to trap bears before Boeing starts moving upwards. I know that markets can swiftly recover from bearish news, and the recent events probably won't leave a lasting scar on Boeing's fundamentals, but I believe US stocks, in general, can experience a bearish trend. I don't write it because BA would be that poor compared to similar stocks, but I think stocks will commonly descend lower.

Comentário

I'm not sure if it already shows up in your time frame, but daily BA is −8.03%. I believe that means this analytics was at least partially correct.

Comentário

I speculated bears would take advantage of the BA reputational loss, which has happened, but in the end, I believe BA's trend will align with the general stock markets' trend. I monitor competitors as well.

Great contents thanks for sharing

@SabahEquityResearch, I appreciate the feedback. It was a hard decision because I usually follow the trend. The trend has been bullish until the media picked up the Boeing problems. However, the price action that concluded was strong. The price crossed down multiple MAs.

what people fail to understand. is that as technology advances there are accidents and incidents that reveal weaknesses within a product or company.

while many expect them to br cyatlats of failure. it only serves as a opportunity to resolves the weaknesses as they are identified. making the product and buissness stronger. by fixing the underlying issue.

I disagree strongly with this analysis for those following reasons.

@Dreams_to_go, While I agree with your idea of technological evolution, investors are in for the money. Any delay can hurt the stock prices and are opportunities for the competitors to show they're better, consequentially, attracting investors from one stock to another.

@Dreams_to_go, BA's at 229.00 −8.03% (−20.00) compared to the time of the analytics. I believe technological evolution didn't save BA from bears.

Too risky now , no one or any country will buy it , its getting bankrupt , wallstreet will dump it like its hot tomorrow , 25$ will be too much , i guess a zero for a stock and the share will go for 25$ . It already cause too many damages to the world , i will never fly Boeing .

@Gti3993, Yes, I could quote many who share your opinion. This bearish sentiment is among the reasons why I wrote a bearish analytics. I use the famous DSI/DSIE but also an original method that analyzes X tweets in natural language for a ToM-AI prototype. ToM isn't a particular AI like GPT but a kind of AI system. It means you and everyone can develop an original ToM AI. A few people laughed when I explained it in the chat, but everyone could benefit from a ToM already. It isn't a theoretical concept anymore, but a practical method you can use in trading.

I definitely support your price target of $207! I found it a different way but it's always nice to learn different approaches.

Instead of a parallel channel, I drew an ascending triangle and used Fibonacci retracement levels. Utilizing this method I found a strong history of supports and resistances that correlate with a projected 61.8% retracement -- this level is $210 on my published chart.

I'm interested in seeing how this plays out. I anticipate a steeper decline but I'm not 100% convinced it won't recover around the $207-210 price range. The technical indicators are going to be the deciding factor for me when that time comes.
